  We stayed 5 nights in Silken (early October) and overall had a good experience. Good: - Smells cleanliness from the street - Located outside the noisy city center, but very close to the metro - Staff is friendly (at least it was to us) - Modern design (for those that consider it a plus) Bad: - Wifi is very slow, but just for booking an activity and checking the weather it is almost decent... - Wifi connects one device at a time, so if you happen to have a laptop and a couple of smartphones... - Breakfast is very expensive, but with the shopping center across the street who cares? - You can hear every noise from the corridor and the surrounding rooms, so you might get unlucky with the neighbours... - The glass walls of the bathroom might be uncomfortable to some. I don't know if all the rooms have them though

  Nice and clean hotel with gentle staff who speak english. It is not available in the hotel free parking for people who use wheelchair. Find parking outside the hotel is very difficult and there is no available parking place for invalid people near the hotel!!

  Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν τέλειο!!!!!!!!!!! Απίστευτη θέα, άψογη εξυπηρέτηση και πολύ καλή περιοχή. Εύκολη πρόσβαση στο κέντρο της πόλης.

  Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο. Εκπληκτική αντιμετώπιση από το προσωπικό. Άψογη καθαριότητα. Όμορφη διακόσμηση και εκπληκτικός φωτισμός στο δωμάτιο.

  by first sight the room seems smaller than in pictures we have seen.but it was ok. it was very clean, and it had a big bathroom with two sinks!! we could smoke inside the room. we also had a big balcony, not something special, but we also could smoke and have breakfast our own because it wasn't included in our package. we paid extra for one day breakfast at the hotel. it was good. about the location: it was tiring to reach the hotel from the airport terminal 1 (i think terminal 2 has conection with metro) . we took the bus from the nearest metro station (plaza catalunya), and we changed one metro line from there. that was the only negative thing i can remember. but metro station is near the hotel. when we leave it was easier because we took the bus near the hotel for the airport (5 blocks walking). by metro we could reach ramblas in 10 minutes.
