This property shows years of no maintenance. Owner clearly just milking it for whatever income they can get with the most minimal "investment." Lower floor has rooms unfit for usual customers, rented out by the week to low income. Staff was not professional, but doing the best they could with what they had. The front desk was really friendly however I was really disappointed in the condition of the hotel. The window in my room had a big crack through it and was open when I got there. My patio door wouldn't lock no matter what as well as the door to get into the room didn't latch. I had to wait an hour for maintenance to get there to fix it and when they […] arrived they were very rude. Needless to say I checked out the next morning and booked another hotel. WE had an awesome experience..The staff was very nice. Yes its an older Hotel. But our room was very clean and roomy.. the coffee maker and hair dryer both worked.. It was very easy to find from exit 277.. Would stay there again!!!

This hotel was clean and cheap but those are its only two good features. It was suppose to be a non-smoking hotel but our room smelled of smoke. And although we did eventually get checked in and it was decided that the charge had already been made on our VISA and our room was relatively clean, both the desk clerk and room cleaner told us that these […] were not their usual jobs. Maybe in time the new owner will put the motels proffit back in the motel . To make our stay enjoyable. We definately will give it another try the staff was so nice which goes along way with me. Walking into this hotel was a little like stepping through a time warp into the 1960's. The lobby has a grand staircase leading up to the 3rd floor hallway of rooms. I can definitely see what this hotel once was, back in its heyday. Amid nostalgic visions of Dino and the Rat Pack, I thought to myself; "this place is right up my alley". Here's the thing. […] One would expect things to be a little run-down. And sure, the walls in the hallways could use a coat of paint, maybe some fresh carpet. But there is a lot more here than meets the eye. The room itself was clean and fresh with new towels and those little bottles of shampoo, the in-room coffeemaker looked brand new, and the staff were all friendly and nice. I've stayed in some rat-trap motels over the course of my career. I've also stayed in 5-star luxury accommodations. As a touring musician, I get whatever the promoter decides to pay for; some are nice and some not so much. I have a good idea of what to expect for the price. Earlier in the weekend I spent a couple of days at the Econo Lodge down the street from this place; that place definitely fit the model of the quintessential no-frills motel near the airport; but this place, on the other hand, was a really pleasant surprise for the price. For one thing, this place could easily be a four or five-star hotel based on the amenities they could potentially offer. There's already a full-service restaurant with great food, a full bar with a late-night menu, a cocktail lounge with a piano (there was a live band playing when I got there) -- and I heard tell that there's a "spa" center with a sauna and jacuzzi, although those are closed right now for remodeling. The rooms are nice; my room had brand new fixtures in the bathroom, a large TV, and pleasant decor that looked and felt a lot newer than the rest of the hotel. Very reasonably priced...comfortable bed, clean bedding....person at front desk was friendly and small pets were accepted.... But... no clock, no pen or paper, no shampoo, no hair dryer, and 2 worn towels the size of kitchen towels..light bulbs missing in lamps, one of which was falling apart. The info sheet normally found on telephone was either worn […] off or missing. The TV worked but it took quite some time to figure it out as there was a lengthy delay between turning it on, and actually getting a picture and sound. You get what you pay for. Near the airport with shuttle service. Also low cost per night. It fit my needs but it is old and needs work.

I cannot believe the crapulence that is this hotel. I am not even sure where to begin. Shall I start at their state of the art pool and restaurant? The ones that are closed for renovation? How about that special feeling I got when I found out they gave me the sauna room - only to discover the air conditioning simply did not work. No, I should probably […] start at how one employee called me at the crack of midnight not for my 4 A.M. wake up call, but to tell me I had not been charged for my room and she ended up charging me for a room that I paid for already through hotels.com!
