45 minute wait at registration to see the ONLY front desk staff person on duty. Plenty of staff behind the desk--but not one lifted a finger to improve customer service experience. "Breakfast deal a joke"
Our rate included breakfast. When we checked in we found out that "breakfast" was an $8 allowance each at Starbucks that could only be used against certain items. $8 at starbucks barely buys a drink, never mind breakfast. Added to this the selection ran out by about 8.30am. Not cool! The room was great, check in was awsome. Check out was a little disappointing. Great location on the Strip. Plus they upgraded me to a room with a king bed at no extra cost (on the pet-friendly floor...which was OK with me even though I had no pets). But...I had to wait in line for an hour to check-in at 11 pm...so didn't get to my room until midnight. They only had two people working the desk but there must have been 10 empty […] terminals. The hotel location was great. You are right in the middle of everything and it was easy to walk to places. We did have to ask housekeeping for towels as they did not replace them, only made the beds. I just want to say that this was even better then I had anticipated the only frustration was the construction so it made it hard to get on the strip depending on the area you were leaving the casino from. There was only 2 guests queuing in front of me but I waited for around 20 min. There was no greetings or smile from the check in staff, I didn't felt welcome at all. There was a hidden charge of usd 20 per night for their resort fee n I can't opt out. I had to pay for something that I don't need. When we enquire on how to go to the outlets, the staff […] wasn't keen to tell us, instead just brush us off by saying either by bus or cab (like I don't know? I wanted to know where to catch the bus!). But when we went on asking about the tour packages, she suddenly became more helpful and friendly. But we didn't buy the package from her. We bought at the tour & ticket booth at venetian. The staff was so much friendlier and even walked us back to harrah's when we told her we didn't know the way (we took a cab to venetian from the outkrt)!
