Room was fine. Shower great. Room was clean. Upon entry room was cold. Could not get heater working until contacting staff. No one came t room so assume they had to turn something on. Maintenance of heating system appeared bad. Lent was all around the blower. Ok hotel with big rooms for a good price. Close to Longview and Kelso. Has a restaurant open most days and a bar, pool table etc. Close to a few restaurants and a few shops, gas station and more

I stay at the Kelso Red Lion once or twice a month. It is always clean and comfy. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant/bar are friendly and helpful. I will always choose this hotel when in the Kelso area. Thank you Red Lion...

This worked out really well ... convenient, clean, competitively priced. They have a prepaid breakfast option $6-$7 which was convenient, but spare. Eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, and bread

The hotel looks worse from the outside than the inside. They have tried to upgrade things but missed the mark, i.e. ... granite on the counters and tile on the walls in the bathroom but old faucets, etc for the showers that hardly work. The new(ish) carpet had stains, the grout in the bathroom was nasty. The doors are ancient. There is no elevator so […] luggage had to carried up the stairs. The hotel is nice enough kind of dated. Our room faced the pool area which was closed for the season but they left the lights on so the room was lit up all night the black out drapes were no match for flood lights. Also the water for the shower was cold so I called the desk and they said they would check on it but we didn't here back so the next morning […] I called and said the valve was broken and showed us how to use it temporarily till he fixed it. That night it was fixed sort of it took us a minute to figure out it was backwards with the hot on the right side and cold on the left. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice enough. The major complaint we have is that the bathroom was so small that you could barely move around.

it's not a hotel, it's more like a motel(super 8 etc.# as soon as you go inside , the smell of something musty welcomes you. the room is small and half made when we got there. it's also loud. we can hear the barking of dogs from the other room# it's my fault for not reading the hotel website...)

I have stayed here a few times and the hotel is always pleasant and convenient. It's next door to a McDonald's and a great park, both nice if you have kids. Nice pool area outside, too.

We wanted to visit Mt St Helens and after a few B&Bs this hotel was perfect. It was clean, no fuss, spacious: exactly what we were looking for. It is outside of town but there is a mall around the corner where we were able to get surprisingly good food. The breakfast in the hotel is simple but surprisingly good.

Very helpful and friendly staff. A nice room which was clean and comfortable. Free internet usage was great. A restaurant on site was very convienent. Overall an enjoyable stay at a reasonable price.

Hotel is currently operating more like a limited-service hotel. It's an old property and beginning to show its age. Staff was vry good and general condition of the hotel was more like a 3+ on a scale of 1 to 5.

Luckily we got a room on the first floor, as this hotel has no elevators. Because we booked on-line, breakfast was not included in cost of room. We opted to skip out on the sub-par-looking buffet.

This hotel was ok. It was the best in the area from what I was told. It wasn't dirty, no bed bugs. The staff was friendly, but the hotel in general (including the room) was just ok. You could see where it needed to be remodeled or where the bathroom needed more attention to failing wallpaper,etc. I would stay here again but only because the choices […] are limited in this area. The only reason this hotel has 3 stars is because of the bar/restaurant located inside the hotel. The pool/jacuzzi is outdoors. The "suites" are nothing more than standard rooms at any other hotel. You pay 4.95 extra for their continental breakfast that has a smaller selection than most 2 star hotel rooms I have stayed at. Don't get me started on their […] "high speed internet" they only have 1 WIFI connection point in their entire hotel and it is located in the center. Too bad if you are unlucky enough to get a room in a far wing. They offer "wired" internet but it is a 56k dial up modem jack located in your room. The only premium channels you get are Encore, and there is no DVD player located in the rooms. I would have nothing to complain about if they actually were completely honest in their hotel description and disclosed the information for any discerning traveler to make an informed decision. I travel a lot on business and I have to say this is one of the most over hyped hotels I have ever stayed at. If your have the time I recommend you stay at the Quality Inn. This old fashioned looking hotel is located just off I-5 and near restaurants and the Three Rivers Mall. The hotel is comfortable and serves a well priced breakfast but the rooms, old style TV's and carpets need a facelift.

While the hotel is a bit dated and could use a bit of a face lift, the staff was extremely accomodating and helpful, the room was clean and the overall feel was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again if visiting the area.

In general, the room was fine, it was clean and comfortable. We thought the breakfast was free, but it cost $4.95 if arrangements were not made in advance, not sure how that works, as we made our reservation on-line. The food was marginal at best, recommend that you go somewhere else for breakfast if not paid for with the room. There was a bachlorette […] party in a nearby room, they woke my wife up whooping and hollering at 2:30 am, and the man next door went out and told them to quiet down. Not sure if hotel management was contacted or not, but it did interrupt some sleep. My access key didn't work right, so I stopped at the main desk and the clerk reprogrammed the same key, with the same results, so I had to go back to the counter and get another new key made, which worked fine. Nice big rooms that can accomodate a family of 5, conveniently located if, like us, you wish to visit the Mount Saint Helens area. And the kids loved the pool.

For the price I paid I was very dissatisfied with my room, my room was dirty and I had to have someone come in a clean my fridge. I stayed with a friend and two small children and was never told of a pool party for children that weekend, when I asked about it I was told that it was on their facebook page, huh? This is a very standard beside-freeway hotel. Our room faced an inner courtyard and so there was no freeway noise - good. The decor of the hotel is jaded and run-down but the rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. The breakfast buffet was cheap and (just) adequate for the low price.

Good deal for the price, got a decent room with no complaints. Hotel is clean, adequate facilities, but not a 5 star. Only complaint was the hi-way noise.

The Beds were very comfortable and the morning buffet was excellent. Just came from California and it was nice to spend an afternoon and evening relaxing. I would not recommend this hotel for comfort or handicap accessable. no elevator only stairs and it is two old hotel that are not connected to visit other people in the other end of the hotel. the only good thing is it is within walking distance to the little league baseball fields for tournaments.Made our reservations and ask to be next to my son they […] put us at opposite ends of the hotel we never seen each other only at the baseball games.I was not able to climb stairs and they put him upstairs and me down.It ia also next to the freeway heard trucks and trains all night. Freundlicher Empfang, aber Zimmer klein und muffiger Geruch. Insgesamt sehr laut da nahe an der Autobahn. Würde das Hotel nicht unbedingt nochmal buchen, aber es gibt nur wenig Alternativen in dieser Gegend. diente als Startpunkt zum Mt. St. Helens, dort direkt waren keine Quartiere mehr zu bekommen.
