The room was spacious and clean. The hotel has a great location and is near the metro. We had a great stay.

Convenient location in a quiet residential area, 2 blocks away from the Rocafort metro station, 5 minutes ride to Plaza Catalunya (10 blocks walking). Walking distance to Arenas de Barcelona, a bullfight ring converted into a modern mall, it has a food court with a variety of choices. The best part of this place is the view of Monjuic from the 360* […] rooftop. Kichenette offers basic kitchenware to prepare simple meals. Mercadona supermarket next door offers a variety of fish, seafood, meats and vegetables at reasonable prices. Room space is a little tight but has plenty of closet space and drawers to place clothing items. Cleanliness was subpar, I noticed dustballs under the bed and around the furniture. Bed and pillow were very comfortable. Soap and shampoo were not replenished daily, although we could get more on request. The walls are thin, we could hear noisy neighbors. Breakfast is served daily at the cafeteria, it offers a reasonable selection of bread, pastries, cold cuts, the classic jamon iberico, cheese, fruits, yogurt, milk, juice and coffee machine, with selections for expresso, american, cappuccino, hot chocolate, tea, hot water, etc. Free wifi in the room is a plus. Definitely a bargain. Clean, spacious rooms. Good location - 2 minute walk from Rocafort tube station. Ensuite and the mini kitchen were good too. Plus there is a supermarket next door.

Atenea Calabria is nice and very affordable and it provides basic kitchen amenities, however, nothing to do the dishes with, so you need to buy those things yourself. There are two supermarkets literally next door which is very convenient. The room itself was nice and had a big balcony but no chairs. really clean room. kitchenette area and lots of space. reception staff were really friendly and breakfast was buffet style, perfect for sightseers wanting to make the most of the time.

The location was 3 bus stops from the Catalonia Sq., you can walk it but not at the end of the day. 2 supermarkets next door. The room had a cute balcony and a table with 2 chairs. Desk people were very helpful, bed was good. Breakfast was not cheap but good enough in the choices of what to eat. TV had 40 channels but not even a one in English! We were […] surprised at that. There was no dishwashing liquid or any other suitable soap for the dishes and housekeeping didn't do dishes, we had to use bath soap to clean the utensiles we used. Location is good because it is approx 200 metres from Rocafort metro, which has only one line,L1. Placa espanya is about 800 metres and bus is available from a stop nearby metro..There are quite a few visitor attractions with in 5 to 10 minute walk of Placa Espanya.The R5 train to Montserrat also starts here. A taxi to estacio Sants only costed us 7 […] euros. The beds and table in the room felt flimsy.Chairs were nice though. Sound insulation of rooms is poor.Your sleep depends on the people above and beside you. The Hobs in the kitchen are low powered and I doubt if any cooking can be done .It took a long time to warm a spanish Omlette brought from the shop next to the hotel. The staff were helpful. The rooms are small and need upgrading to be a 3* hotel. The rooms had worn out vinyl tiles and the bathrooms had worn out tiles. It is a studio apartment split into to two sleeping area using a closet. There was a no sofa or sitting area, when you have beds in both sleeping areas.

The location of the hotel is ideal to see most of the centrally located sites on foot. For getting further, you can use the metro (beware pickpockets) or get a tourist bus from Playa de Catalunya (15-20mins walk). Hotel is at good location, good area....hop-on-off bus within 10 mins walk. Staff are very nice, speak good english and very responsible. We ask for wake up call at 7:00am and we had our room phone off hook by accident, staff came to our room to knock on door to make sure we are up. Beds were not very comfortable, but location was good and the room was good for us as a family with a queen bed and two twins for our 2 teenagers. A wardrobe and shelves divide the 2 parts of the room. Small kitchenette was useful. Breakfast was good and priced fairly.

Good deal, economically. Loved having access to a kitchen and small market next door. Bed was fine, but cots for kids were the hardest mattresses we have ever seen. Ever. No complaints otherwise. Would definitely stay there again, even if the neighborhood seems a little seedy.

We stayed in a room for 4 people, the room has a little kitchen which is great, we didn't use much because the kettle has a strong smell... overall the room is good for the price. The free wifi and computer at lounge are excellent, help us in finding info and planning the trip next day!! Nice customer service, though on the fist day when we check-in […] we felt Gristella showed an annoying face and her english is limited, overall other staff are helpful.The spacious lounge looks modern with comfortable sofas. The walls are thin you can hear people talking next door, but this is not a hugh issue to us. We had breakfast there for 8 Euros per person, it's worthy with the choice of drink and food. Good location it has a supermarket next to it. There are restaurants, bars, kebab shops nearby, and found a shop for an adaptor at low price on the way to metro station. Excellent breakfast.Beds very comfy. Added advantage of being able to leave our luggage plus use of the lounge on departure day prior to going to the airport thus enabling us to do some extra sightseeing.

I have never in my life had such a strong opinion against a hotel. This hotel is by far the worst I have stayed!! Bed was extremely uncomfortable, it sinks in the middle and no duvet at all. The room is full of an old stale smell that just disgusted me. Beddings are very old and I'm not sure if it's been cleaned at all as it smells funny...again! Dog v ar der en lille ting, der var stillet en flaske shampoo og en flaske skumbad til 4 personer, og som skulle holde i tre dage. Det er under al kritik. Men ellers var vi godt tilfredse, dejlig morgenmad, et smilende personale.

Très bon rapport qualité prix.Le parking est juste en bas et surveillé. Une supérette également juste en bas, super pratique pour faire ses courses. Ce n'est pas un standing supérieur mais à mon sens tout y est et c'est propre. Métro à 3 minutes à pieds.

A limpeza é adequada, apesar de pequenos detalhes pouco significativos. Os funcionários são tão atenciosos quanto os catalães/espanhóis podem ser. A localização é ótima, perto do metrô e com supermercados, […] restaurantes, cafés e bares próximos. O único problema é o barulho. Os quartos são muito barulhentos.
