This Days Inn is convenient for a short stay. Since it's on the interstate, you can easily find almost any type of food that you want and find your way back to the hotel without any fuss. The area isn't horrible, but it gets pretty bad just a few blocks away so I would highly recommend locking doors and being cautious. The chain was broken in the toilet, so it didn't flush. There was mildew all over the shower curtain. When I tried to call the office, the phone didn't work. This was the worse Days Inn we've ever stayed at!

Creepy... Request a room on the east side or you will be looking at a painted fence. Parking is on the East. .Small room..could not get by bed to sink in my wheel chair. carpet was dirty,,,I think this hotel is an extended stay...breakfast was limited and stale..front desk clerk seemed displeased that Hotel.com had control of payment...room # was on […] the key card...Quality food is 3 or 4 exits East. When we first arrived the hotel's appearance gave a lot away. It looks very run down and poorly kept. The room didn't smell very good and we were quick to notice ants running around by the sink and toilet. We thought perhaps the ants were isolated to the bathroom area, and we were extremely tired - along with an exhausted 11 month old - so we went to […] bed for the night. After a few hours sleep, I woke up itching to find ants in my bed - and lots of them. I woke my wife and son up and we left the hotel. Both my son and wife also had ant bites. We went and found another hotel - Best Western off 820 @ Clifford - much nicer ;-) I can't recommend this hotel to anyone. It actually looks like it should be condemned by the health department. First things first. It's a Day's Inn, so you aren't expecting a Hilton or Four Seasons. The location is awesome, right next to I-30 and 820-west, just down from a huge mall (ridgemar) and movie theater (Rave). The pool was awesome, warm enough to enjoy and VERY clean. The room was what I expected with a few minor problems. First, I didn't get a "Do […] Not Disturb" sign, which I always hang as soon as I get to a room. Second, the carpet was VERY dirty. I was in a smoking room, but I have never been in a hotel where the room carpet made my bare feet turn black like this one did. Third, and foremost, the toilet would not flush at all. Instead of calling the desk and having to move rooms or worse, wait for them to fix it, I simply fixed it myself using a straw and some plastic from the coffee service in the room. The room was kind of dirty, paint and marker was on the walls, I am guessing a family with some ill-behaved children were there recently. :-) The bed was comfortable, AC was cold and easy to use, and the shower was awesome! Everything was satisfactory.

Clean and comfortable room. Nothing beyond that. Worth what I paid.

this hotel should be condemned.... do not stay here unless you are happy to stay with other crack addicts and the filth they leave behind.

Room was good. We were only there for one night. It was clean and comfortable. Had multiple rooms side by side for all the family and all of them were decent. Would stay agin just for the convinence and price.

The hotel isn't in the greatest of shape. It was fairly clean but there was a clump of womens hair in the shower. The heater was very noisy.

Bokked a non-smoking room. It reaked. The air took all afternoon and evening to get the room semi livable. Hotel appear old and need of a face lift. Breakfast was almost non-existant. Had to go to IHOP for breakfast. Toilet didn't want to stop runnign once it was flushed and the seat didn't match the base for size or shape. Room was too light at night, 3:00 AM felt like daylight. Air conditioning didn't work properly. Smoke detector falling off the ceiling.

I didn't go there for luxury, just for a safe, clean, comfortable place to sleep (pretty quiet, too), and I got what I wanted.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay, the hotel was a little worn and showing its age, but the room was clean, the bed and pillows comfy,and the staff was very friendly.
