Business trip with time out for Disney; Disney buses come right to door; staff were very helpful and courteous; no issues re housekeeping. Wifi in room worked well; overall pleased with stay; found it to be good value.

It cost us $50 for a taxi from the airport to the hotel so the free shuttle back and forth to Disney was priceless.

We have stayed here three times now. More convenient than the higher priced Disney hotels.

The hotel was generaly great. Our disappointmet was the orgintation of the closet space. Difficult to acess the cloths that needed to be hung. One sink in bathroom was not convinent.

Perfect location within walking distance of downtown disney! Beds were very comfortable. Character breakfast was great for our 2 yr old... delicious food, reasonably priced, and not crowded at all so our daughter even got to dance with Minnie Mouse! Overall pleased with hotel. No problems at all.

We stayed at the Wyndham on hotel plaza for five days and we totally enjoyed ourselves. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the location of downtown Disney being just across the street was great. Great stay and highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and promised I would never return. Two years ago I reserved and paid for 4 rooms to be adjoining for me my family including grandchildren. This was not done and could not solve the problem. I reserved this time not realizing the Wyndam was just a name change. My reservation for king size bed was not done and they had […] none available. Location was great, right next to Downtown Disney. Room was adequate. The bed was actually very comfortable. Noise levels were low, we never heard the neighboring rooms at all.

The bathroom faucet was leaky (before we got there - actually a stain due to continuous leakage). There was no repair the entire 8 nights that we were there. What looked like dead mosquito parts on the bathroom light switches were not cleaned up - we cleaned it ourselves. What was disappointing was that we stayed in the "motel like" part of this hotel […] - which is on the grounds level opened to the outside. My wife and my daughter are both alergic to mosquito bites - which meant every night, we had to look to see if there were mosquitos in the room before we can go to sleep. Right at Downtown Disney.. close to parks.... Clean, comfy beds and pillows. Great Valet parking service!! Attendants were fabulous! Pool area nice... Would prefer Children not be allowed in Hot Tub whirlpool! Music too loud at pool area. Enjoyed our stay for 2 nights to attend the parks on Easter Sunday!

Wyndham Lake Buena Vista, great location next to Disney Down Town Resort, but that was all that was positive. The front look nice, the parking guys were friendly but the rest... not so good. The rooms were ok size but very worn down, located in uncleaned corridors and with windows that everyone could look into when passing in the corridor, so you had […] to have the curtains closed all the time. The room was not fresh, webs in the corners, the sliding door into bath and toilet could not be closed properly, there was dust and hairs on the floor in the bathroom, the refriderator did not work. We had to wait for our bags forever and was on our way to go look for them and grab them ourselves when the guy finally showed up. And they charged an extra $16 for finanicing shuttles, refriderator in all rooms, internet (that they charged for using) etc when you checked in. Rather aggresive and quite some nerve when you think of the state it was all in, NOT WORTH it and we do not Recommend it to others. Have stayed at other hotels in the same street that were much friendlier and that were clean and fresh and who cared about the visitors. So nah... wont go there again even though it is close to Disney Down Town, has free parking and shuttles (but dont forget the $16 that is charged extra! also they reserve $50 on your card for what ever - that will be let go when checking out). Overall it was a good trip. There were 4 of us in one room and it was a bit crowded. But we were basically there to enjoy the Disney parks, so we only went back to the room to sleep. The location is great, there are a lot of restaurants near by to choose from, and not far at all from downtown Disney.

This was the families first trip to the Orlando area. We really were not sure what to expect, but I must say the folks from the Wyndham certainly made us feel at home. We will deffinitely be back and will be staying at the Wyndham.

My family and I stayed here for two nights and were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. It is very close to the Disney Village and also within walking distance to a less "touristy" area with different dining upportunities that were much less expensive. The staff was friendly, the rooms very nice and our overall impression was great. Definately a hotel […] that I would recommend to people who want a nice hotel with that location. This was a last minute booking for a business trip. I had thought I was booking the same hotel i stayed in last year. I was wrong. Since I was there for business, I didn't have much time for R&R, but I appreciated that you could walk to Downtown Disney. Because of the lack of free time, I didn't get much time by the pool. However the few hours I did […] spend by the pool, I really enjoyed it! It was VERY clean and the poolside snack bar was perfect for a quick lunch. The pool area has a fun ship-like water contraption for kids to climb on. At the same time, you can find a seat where its a lot less noisy. The room was clean. Nothing special. Probably a tight fit for a family of 4. My one BEEF - the tile floor in the vanilty/bathroom area. It's polished granite/stone so it's VERY SLICK when it gets wet. I've never understood why hotels do this. I would definitely stay here for another business trip. The hotel's renovation is obviously a few years older that its neighbors but it's still a very nice place. The room was clean and comfortable. What wasn't nice was trying to find out how to log in to WiFi, They gave me a password at the desk. it didn't work two calls got two more that didn't work and I was told to call the it provider. He sent me back […] to the desk and when I walked up the young man said Oh yea they changed while I was off and no one told me. It took about 30 minutes and was totally unnecessary. They don't charge for parking or wifi but do charge a resort fee that adds up to the cost of parking and wifi. That's a scam. The price was good for the area and other places hide their charges in different ways so it'snot unusual. I was disappointed that my Wyndham Rewards free Internet benefit didn't apply to this resort presumably because it was a different provider. Is it a Wyndham Rewards Benefit or an ISP benefit? Other than the smell of the room this place was fine. Walking distance to "Down town" Disney was a plus. The Pool was fun for the kids, a little cold tho. For the price this place was pretty good.

Valet female attendent seemed very bothered to assist us. Dinner is the resteraunt on Thursday night the waiter was not friendly, however when we ate the breakfast buffet the next morning the staff was great. Resteraunt hours are NOT convenient opeing at 6pm for dinner (young kids eat earlier and are in bed sooner) and breakfast didn't open until 7:30am […] again kids are early risers....if we had been leaving to go to the parks we would not have been able to wait for the resteraunt to open. Great location - just across the street from Downtown Disney Marketplace. Beds were very comfortable, but bathroom was a bit tight/small. Plenty of towels routinely left by housekeeping staff. Hotel rooms, although fine and clean, felt a bit outdated. The price was right and you cannot beat the location.

Took the kids to Disney and didn't want to pay big money to stay at a Disney Deluxe hotel. We saved a bundle, but you really get what you pay for. Some friends were staying in the tower, we were on the ground level of south side wing. Don't stay in one of the lower wings - It was loud, no HD tv, and the bathroom needs to be redone. Awesome location! Clean, nice pool area

We booked for 3 nights...very convienient location. Our room was right next to a wall of "chillers" for the building's air conditioners - extremely noisy! Housekeeping was still working till 6 pm - we could not take naps due to their noisy carts going back & forth on every floor.....no 'room' in the actual hotel. Parking was also a problem every night. after reading the reviews of others, saying that it was bad esp when your room is in the loading dock. Our room was by the loading dock and we didnt have any problems, the pillows were so amazing! we got home and started looking for the same kind! its about 10-15 mins away from discovery cove, we ordered room service and it was good for the price we […] paid for it was well worth it, nice swimming pool, hot tub big screen tv by the pool to watch movies, basketball and tennis courts are cool also. all in all we were comfortable! We were satisfy with our stay at the Wyndham recently, clean, very helpfull staff, bus services to the parks was great, the only thing we were not to happy about was for the price of the stay I think a continental breakfast should be included. I absolutley love,love, loved our stay at Wyndham Buena Vista. The location was perfect. Close to food, shopping , and Disney.We barely had to drive at all. It was easy to find. Check in was a breeze. Even though the entire resort was booked to capacity it was never too crowded. The only con was PARKING. They did run out of parking spots if you stayed […] out too late. This was a very nice hotel for a 2 or maybe three star rating, but to give it four stars is disingenuous at best. The rooms were outdated, and the "lake view" could only be seen by stretching my neck, closing one eye, and imagining real hard. The overall feel was like being in a cheap highway motel with a fresh set of sheets. All that was missing were […] the spent heroin syringes and hookers trolling the parking lot. The place wasn't bad enough to leave, but four stars? Give me a break. Lets be honest and tell people what they are paying for. (Proximity to Disney World). If I had not gotten a discounted rate online, I would be far more upset, and as it is I feel I probably overpaid by three times the value. Seriously, it's time to step up your game. As Disney Annual Pass holders, we are at Disney almost every weekend & usually stay at hotels in the area at least once a month. Out of all of the hotels that we have stayed at in the past , the Wyndham Lake Buena Vista was by far the worst. Our room faced the delivery alley & large trucks would back in to make deliveries all night. We were still awake […] at 1:30 a.m. listening to a delivery truck's beeping as he struggled with parking. Then, they received yet another delivery at 6 a.m.! Throw in thin walls, rude guests yelling and children running down the halls & you have the worst hotel stay ever. When my husband complained the next morning at checkout, he was told the hotel manager would be contacting us and took our information. No one ever called. I am not surprised.
