Bahia Mar Ft. Lauderdale Beach- a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Fort Lauderdale

fort lauderdale is a cool city. the hotel didnt impress me for the price paid

couldnt believe I had to pay $20.00 a day for parking even though I was a guest. Cocktails at the bar were $10.00 each. Not very good location except for the fishing boat and one lounge. I expected more for the money I paid. I will not return.

Wish I had time to rent a bike, as it was a great location to be outdoors. Front office provided recommendation for food delivery, as there is not room service; there is a frig & microwave as well. Excellent service overall. Just a reminder that this is a beach hotel, so the plastic chairs in the room are fairly practical.

Excellant. We loved our stay. We even re-booked, and came back the following month. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is the best, and close to the water taxi. Lots of restaurants in the area. We'll be back again next year.

I always pick this hotel because we've stayed here numerous times. Although it may seem it was a little away from the Air show on the map but it ended up being a good view for us all.

Parking fees are outrageous and a bowl of raisin bran cost me $11.00, but otherwise a nice place to stay.

The staff were very professional, cheerful, and helpful. Early check-in wasn't a problem and I was upgraded to a better room.

Nice place. Bathrooms desperate for updating. Bed comfortable, very nice pillows. Level of water in toilet was too high and uncomfortable. We did not stay in the tower block. I'm sure Hilton would improve the place soon. Over all did enjoy our stay.

Almost perfect

Nice hotel nearby the see and the harbour. The pool is excellent with the bar and the ramp down to the beach is a easy way. Small french balcony which is better than nothing. good environment too

The "01" lines are facing the ocean and spacious. My local deal was for a std room partial ocean view, but we got upgraded to a ocean full view. AWESOME!! Kareen assisted us with check in and made it very easy. the elevators are outdated but fine. The rooms are impeccable, bathroom are tight but fine for big guy my size. I liked the hotel but I had to pay 20$ a day to park my car as a guest which I didn't like or plan for and the tv services for some reason were not available. But what's not to like about Ft LauderdaleI. They also seemed confused at the hotels.com confirmation number at registration. Besides that it is a decent hotel.

Stayed at this Hotel both pre and post cruise. Great rooms, great service, awesome location and reasonable rates, would definitely stay there again.

The hotel and location was perfect for us. Just don't stay there during spring break if you want to go to sleep early. Other than that it was great.

We have been to Florida several times before. This was by far the best beach vacation we have had. The beach was phenomenal with ample park benches and grills. The overpass allowed us to go straight from room bypassing traffic unto the beach. We spent majority of time on the beach. We will def be back.

The room looked way nicer on the interent. Upon arriving to the hotel I realized it had it's hey day in the 1980's. The public beach across the street was quite dirty, Location was convenient.

We made reservations for a wheelchair excessable room, when we got to our room. It was not wheelchair excessable at all! But after going back to the front desk, they made the correct changes and gave us another room, which worked out fine. I would stay at this hotel again.

Peaceful location, and easy access to the beach. Excellent for travelling with children, no pool for babys though. Nice gym and pool area. Negative sides: quite expensive parking and breakfast. Still, cant complain. Great stay!

Stayed here pre and post cruise. Hotel and properties were awesome, very clean, and beautiful. Can't wait to go back. Also handy to water taxi, shuttle , bars and shops. Room had great view of ocean. Wish I could have stayed for a week.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel thanks to its proximity to the beach which was just across a convenient pedway. I had a marina view room which was lovely. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was soooo good to us. We arrived from a cruise at 9 am, thinking we would have to leave out bags with the concierge til check-in time, and they found a room for us right away....it gave us the whole day for exploring. The next day our flight didn't leave til 9 pm and they gave us access to the pool at gym until we left for the airport. We […] were so very grateful to them. This hotel is a bit down from the main area of bars, so it was nice to stay at during Spring Break to have a more quiet beach experience. The staff here was wonderful, as was the accommodations.

It was a nice break without going out of town, Staff very friendly and accommodating, place shows a little age but still clean, Doubletree should add room service and a Jacuzzi on the pool deck :-) Great location for the beach plus big variety of recreational rental facilities at the marina

New rooms, great location and very comfortable. i have returned to this Hotel many times and it keeps getting better

Friendly staff. Old, dated hotel even though it was recently "updated". Small pool, not enough towels. Unimpressed with the quality of this hotel especially for a Hilton! I booked two oceanfront rooms, with 2 doubles - when I checked in, they told me they didn't have any more oceanfront rooms with 2 doubles - even though that is what I paid for! Then […] they "found" two OF rooms, one of which had a king bed - didn't know it at the time until we went up to the room. Room was not cleaned or made up on the third day of my visit. When I came back to the room in the afternoon I removed the leave alone notice from the front door. The room next door to mine was being cleaned as I entered and soon thereafter exited my room I thought for sure my room would be next. Spent one night after our cruise. We were there the first Saturday of "Spring Break", so not sure if the traffic we encountered was normal, but was slow getting out of the area. Went here for college senior spring break with friends. This was everything we had hoped for... perfect! I would HIGHLY recommend to ANYONE.

The Balcony was really small. (2ft X 6ft) All you could do was stand on it. It wasn't even big enough to put a chair on which was a disappointment because the view of the beach was very nice :( It wasn't worth what we paid for.

This hotel is very good regarding comfort and installations. The hotel is near to the beach. It would be perfect with a free parking and a breakfast.
