I would stay here again. It was very convenient to where we were travelling. The price was affordable. The breakfast was just enough for what we needed. The room was comfortable and clean. Seemed like some new renovations had just been finished.

Very cordial greeting and informative opinions on local facilitiesions, etc. Very clean room, but showed some wear from being a former smoking room (burn marks). Great value for the area and convenient to I-75 and I-275.

This was ideal for a 1 night stay. Clean, comfortable and great value. Better than most motel chains we've stayed in. Very close to Ellenton outlets which is why we were there. Drawbacks; Close to busy road so a little noisy and no good restaurants in the area. There is a Burger King & KFC however if you're happy with fast food.

This was better than I thought it would be. I would stay again. I had 2 different stays in a week. Both rooms had a broken heater or it would only turn on for 30 seconds.

It has been a great experience, For the price, I was not expecting the overall cleanliness, hospitality of the hotel employees, and the response to all of my needs. I will always recommend this particular hotel and will always use it again should I be in the area again. Another thing I appreciated was the wide parking spaces that they provide.

With a very inexpensive motel along I-75, one might think the price will yield a less than favorable room. Not what-so-ever true! Friendly service, clean and well maintained property. In this price range, I've come to expect a poor quality matress and box spring. Again, not true. Hotel is great price for a Business Traveler who has to watch expenses or truck drivers etc Not a hotel for a family vacation - area surrounding hotel is very suspect. The room was clean and the front desk was professional. The room, however, smelled of moisture. The hotel seemed to be undergoing a renovation, therefore, the doors, walls and even shower were spackled waiting to be painted. We were content with the room especially for the rate we paid.

The hotel was adequate and service was efficient and friendly enough. However we were extremely disappointed by the continental breakfast. We chose this hotel over another that we had previously stayed at because the picture of the breakfast included fruit and it looked like a waffle iron. However when we got there breakfast was only bagels or muffins […] and coffee, orange juice, or tea. That's it. For four dollars more we could have gone to our previous hotel and at least had milk and cereal or oatmeal for the kids. I was very, very upset and the only reason we did not change hotels was because our money would be tied up for the weekend if we booked another. The pool was nice and we thought would be the redeeming point but even though it was open until 10PM there were no lights in the pool area or in the pool. We will definitely not stay here again. Older hotel and furnishings, well kept up. Great place to crash for a night, no frills at a great price! The only negative was the soda machine was out of order- but there is a convenience store within close walking distance.

My overall assessment of the hotel was good. I like the location and nearness of many different restaurants and Super Wal-Mart. The first night I experienced what appeared to be a felony stop by the local police department around midnight which woke me up. The police used loud speakers to instruct the suspect and I could hear it from my room easily. […] The room was clean. The only bad part was the lights in the bathroom and outside sink area. Those lights flickered pretty badly when turning them on. The tile were very loose and hollow and needs to be replaced or restored. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helped me with my laundry because the customer dryer maching was unserviceable. When I left the hotel after my five day stay I noticed later on in the day that I was missing a personal item and the hotel staff went through every possible avenue to help me retrieve it. The Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. They were able to quickly change our room on a Saturday night after we checked in. When I made the reservation I did not specify non-smoking room. Okay for the price. One aspect we certainly didn't like was the hotel guests loitering in common areas in the evening, smoking cigarettes, drinking beer, etc.

Having a long flight from London to Tampa on 30th August we did not relish a late night drive to Sanibel Island. I tried to book a hotel for the night at any Tampa airport hotel. However, due to the Republican Convention being held in the city, rooms were almost impossible to get. I decided to try and book a motel close to the I75 and about an hours […] drive out of Tampa. Having found the Bradenton Econolodge on the net I checked several review sites and was pleasantly surprised that just about everybody who posted said their experience was good. I booked a room for one night and have to agree with other reviewers that this motel is convenient, clean and has very pleasant helpful staff. There are several eating places located within easy walking distance of it which was a great help to us when we arrived late. We didn't have time to try out the pool area but from what we saw it was very clean, tidy and did look inviting. Having paid something around 30 pounds for a double room including a breakfast of coffee and muffins I think this motel represents excellent value for money . I have stayed in a couple of the cheaper hotels listed on this site and been disappointed, but I must say this was a great deal. The bed was on the older side and slightly lumpy but overall this hotel was great. The room was in great conidition, spacious and the hotel is in a good location.

It was 2 of the worst nights sleep we've ever had the bed was like sleeping on concrete and the pillows were so thin it was like not having anything under our head.

This is our second stay at the econo lodge. It is right off of 75 and you can walk to places to eat. Very convenient. Hotel is clean although dated. Certainly wouldn't stay here for a luxury vacation but for a short, work related stay it is fine. Microwave, frig & wifi in every room. What other Econo Lodge comes with a treat bag of cookies and popcorn in your room? Very nice desk staff, convenient to the highway, outlet shops, restaurants, squeaky clean. Did not have the breakfast, but it existed and looked good (fruits, breads, coffee, maybe yogurt). The Plaza, it is not. But, for a budget roadside hotel this place is top.

This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but it is a good place to stay if you are on a budget. The staff members were all very nice and friendly, the room was very clean and the accomodations were nice enough for a few nights. There are 4 places to eat on the same block (McDonalds, Cracker Barrel, Waffle House and Sonny's) and a gas station too. I don't stay at Econolodge hotels, but took a chance on this one because of the high ratings. The management really tries to offer good value. Appears to be American owned. Clean room. You get good value. I would stay there again. Only downside is the low price attracts some rowdies.

Run by lovely people. Little free gift of biscuits & popcorn went down well with the kids. Very basic but clean accommodation, but absolutely fine if you're travelling around & just need a place to sleep.
