I came in late. Checkin was quick. Lady was helpful in giving good directions. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of supplies. Breakfast -- fine and had plenty to eat along with juices and coffee.

nice motel for money

Good Rooms for the price

I would not ever stay there again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone. The mattresses were old. The pillows were flat. The sheets had stains on them. The floor had some type of hole under the carpet. The bathroom door had some nasty residue on it. I took my daughter there for a softball game the next day. at Travelodge. Travelled with friends and some family. This motel had all we were looking for; 1-suite, 2 single beds in each room. When we came back after the event first night, our room was made up good; we didn't go to breakfast because we woke up late. Had a nice experience with staff. They were kind to give us discount.

This hotel is good for price. The rooms are spacious and clean. You get what you pay for so don't expect great quality. A few updates wouldnt hurt.

The biggest problem was I left my wedding rings and a ring my dad made on the bedspread of the bed. I called the staff to get them (since house cleaning was supposed to clean the room) and my rings disappeared and they can't find them. We offered a reward and still do not have my rings. Apparently they had just sprayed for bugs and they were running and dieing everywhere. Sill gives me the chills. Because of the no cancel policy I stayed in my own sheet and took my stuff to my car at night so as not to get bugs in it. Would never recommend and should be condemned as building in bad condition also.

Thanks and yes, my bed was new and was comfortable. Exterior walkways and lobby were clean enough. This motel had everything I needed for below the price of any others --- I booked a king bed. It was nice and comfortable, Internet was free, Morning free breakfast good. I felt safe as I had family with me. We all went and ate at Mi Paublos, Chipottle and Chili's. Employees were friendly.

This place has weekly/monthly residents...had I known that I would have never considered this place. It was a DUMP. Yeah, I've stayed at old hotels, but there is a difference between old vs. gross and filthy. Unfortunately I was stuck there for 3 nights...and in that time I never saw a maid. The carpet was a weird black...it was supposed to be a dark red ( I only know that because I had to move the night stand to get at a plug). The bathroom area floor (sink area + shower together) was sticky, you had to wear shoes throughout the whole room. Half the bulbs were missing. The towels were badly stained. We had a "swayback" mattress...I kid you not. It was obvious this bed needed to be replaced. The boxspring, was grossly stained it looked as if something sinsister had happened on it...and I only know this because when I pulled the sheets back to go to bed, the bed was full of pubic hair...I had them bring clean sheets and changed the bed myself. This was a quiet hotel as there is no restaurant, or bar attached. Next to it had brand name restaurants without having to drive for lunch/dinner. I have had hotels with bar and restaurants to be noisy. The fact that this was not directly off a free way made me sleep well. My room was clean. I was so disappointed to pay what we paid for the room and while we drove lost through miles and miles of construction looking for the place that was hidden away by the surrounding, noisy neighborhood, we past so many brand new motel 6's for $30-something. Brand new! I would have gladly stayed in a motel 6 for that being new that were all far more accessible […] from the main road than this place. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the free breakfast...PLENTY of choices. My daughter forgot her toothbrush and they provided one at no additional charge. I appreciate things like not having to hunt down the closest walmart or walgreens. the bed was very hard and my back was hurting the next day from traveling AND a hard bed. the bedding was very worn and dated. the floor was surprisingly cleaner than i expected. the internet service held a good connection. i would only reccommend this place if you plan to visit the immediate area. The mattress was a little hard for my liking, but I was only there over night for an interview. The guy in the room next to me was a bit loud. Kept waking me up until 2am. Some people have no respect for others' needs

My stay was fine in the deluxe room. I thought the hotel was clean and safe..will return.

Didn't have to sacrifice anything...

it's really lovely and quiet a place to stay for few days, but without a car your lost , but the comfort is ok .

Tv remote didn't work, tv/ barely worked, electrical plug on bathroom broken, tub drain broke and floated in the bath water when bathtub turned on

I was given a room that was unacceptable, but the clerk gladly moved me to another room with much better beds and working TV. The biggest disappointment was that the towels didn't appear clean. They may have been washed and all, but there were stains on them which was disconcerting. That made me think the sheets weren't as clean as I'd like as well. […] In fact, there were hairs on the pillow cases that may have come from maids making the beds, but bothered me nonetheless. This is the only decent place for the price no complaints really. Found most other places for this price to be run down.

The reason I stay in Amarillo is I have my fiance there so I travel quite a bit...I liked their selection of the hot breakfast items. Bed was comfortable and room smelled fine. I was surprised with the upkeep of such a older motel. I will continue to stay and recommend this place to my friends.

I booked two rooms here for my employees. When they arrived, they immediately emailed me and asked that I book them at a different hotel because this one was very dirty. I felt terrible and immediately booked them at another hotel.

For the price, this place is a great deal. Fairly convenient to DFW and the freeways.

We needed a place to shower and sleep and this sufficed for both needs. It could have used some more comfortable pillows but the bed itself was fine. It would be nice if they had newer carpeting as it was stained and well-worn. We were impressed that it had enough plugs to accommodate charging our phones and plugging in our laptops. Well maintained motel and price is good with easy access to Fort Worth where my business is, and that's why I stay here....

It was a dump I am in the process of disputing the charges that were charged on my card I open the door to the unclean room and went back to the office I refused to stay in such a DUMP

Not bad given the price and age of property! I rated high on cleanliness. My family enjoyed the hotel very much and we all plan to return around Christmas for a family re-union again! Staff were friendly and professional.

Stay away from this motel, you'd rather pay few more dollars and stay in nice, cleaned, well maintained and well organized motel with good customer service.

The hotel was rated a two-star. It was in bad dis-repair - the rooms were ok - but had a "old hotel" smell. The walkway around the second floor rooms were being held up by boards nailed on - not safe at all. Would not pass building inspection. Was glad to be on the ground floor.

It room us three rooms before we settled on a room that we could use. The first one hand no tv remote or phone, the front desk didn't have an extra so the moved us rooms. The second one didn't have working ac or a coffee pot. The third one didn't have an iron or a coffee pot. The first room I was given smelled like mildew, there was no remote for the television, and the carpet was soaked. I went to the office to let them know about the smell and to see if I could get a remote. The clerk was very nice and apologetic and gave me two remotes to try. Neither one worked. blood stains on sheets and carpet was wet around the bed and door the cable was not hooked up to the tv and it was not even plugged in and no remote in the room very bad service from both the evening and morning shift and the general manager

This Travelodge was easy to get to as I had to travel to Fort Worth, Dallas, and Plano while I was in town. If you are looking for a place to sleep for Cheap this is the place. Clean room, except for the tubs need to be changed. Also, it took 10 minutes for the hot water to finally reach the room.....

This place is a wreck and not safe to stay in. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and checked in anyway, even after seeing the dilapidated look of things from the outside. I walked across the way to chili's and and after a short conversation with waitress decided not to stay.
