This is an older building but has been maintained adequately. GOOD: Clean, Good size room for the price we paid. BAD: Breakfast time is from 6-9 AM but even at 8:30 most of the stuff was finished and after asking the staff several times the food was not replenished.

My room was a bit dingy but clean and the hotel was quiet. This is a good value, just don't expect anything fancy.

This motel is not fancy on the exterior, but our room was very pleasant and acceptable. The rate was great, and we would stay there again.

Econolodge was a throwback to the local motels of the 50s. Everything was old. The heating unit kept the room too warm. We finally discovered that we had to set the temp 8 degrees below the temp we wanted. The noisy fan kept going on and off all night. At least the room was clean. Had the king room. Only one night, as I was passing through. Everything was clean and comfortable. The room was large, with a frig. and microwave. Very satisfied, thank you!

For an overnight stop, this motel works fine. The price is right and it is clean.

Just as good or better than the competition at about half the price. Centally located on the main drag. Reconditioned and it shows. They even give you a 10% discount at El Camino restaurant, steps away, which has some of the better NM chile in town. A trip to the Bosque del Apache, a NM bird refuge....really nice staff and surprisingly good, comfortable (larger than expected at the bargain price) room -- I've stayed in other motels in Socorro and recommend this one.

Simple, but clean and comfortable. Well worth the price.

Nice motel with good service except our room was not cleaned one night but we were not really inconvenienced. The room had two desks which allowed plenty of room to spread our stuff out. The restaurant next door is a locals place and has great servers and decent food.

I have to admit that I was worrried about what I would get for this price. The hotel might look older, but rooms are comparable to any other modern hotel, the staff was very friendly, good wifi connection, clean room. I'm glad I booked this room.

The room for price was a good value but when checking out left a video case with 108 DVD's. Called and somehow the cas was never found even though it was prior to the maids finished cleaning. Very dissapointed...filed police report as cost made it a felony

Excellent front desk service, the room was very clean and very nice. Large suite sized room was an excellent value. This is as good as one could expect for an excellent price!!

We found the hotel and were very comfortable with our night stay.

The hotel is not a new one, but was very comfortable. The room was clean, the internet service was adequate, and the environment was quiet. My room was away from the street. The hotel have a free breakfast - cereal, waffles, hardboiled eggs, bagels, pastry, cereal, coffee, etc. I nice stay at e very reasonable price. room was clean, price was good, and it was closed to everything you need in socorro

Something we have not seen before is a recliner chair in the room. We liked that a lot. The only negative I can think of is that the odor of cleaning materials was very strong when we arrived in our room, and I suppose that could be a positive as well.

Was traveling on emergency from CO to AZ and called stating we were going to arrive around 4am. Very helpful.

my room had a security problem, the door safety chain or latch was loose, the screws were loose. the door jamb was cracked like some one kicked it in. the main locks were ok, the carpet was ok , but they could've hid the seams better. the cleanliness of room was good. i still would stay there again.

he hotel was very clean. No extra uninvited creatures. The ajoining resturant made it very convenient. Easy access to highway. If were going that way again I would not hestitate to stay.

Having lived several years in Socorro, I've seen the Econo Lodge from the outside and never wanted to see the inside. Well, I was looking for a hotel and chose this one, as it was about half the price of all the other available ones that night. Well, it was great! We ended up staying two nights, in different rooms. Both rooms had been recently updated. […] They were toward the front, on the second floor. The only thing I didn't like was that there were only two pillows on the queen bed and three on the king bed. I didn't feel like going to the office just for more pillows, but it would be nice if they kept more in the rooms. Also, they offered shampoo, face soap, body soap, and lotion, no conditioner. El Camino, the restaurant next door, has decent cheap food and is open 24 hours. If you want better New Mexican food, go to either El Sombrero or Sofia's. If you're looking for something else and in a nice atmosphere, go to either Socorro Springs (on California, the main street in Socorro) or Old Town Bistro (on the plaza, actually in the building that Socorro Springs used to be in). Both have menus available on the internet. Socorro Springs is a brewery and restaurant, but lately, the food is going down in quality while the prices increase. Also, they're offering more beer from other brewers than they brew themselves, which is a bit disappointing. I do stress though, don't be afraid to stay at the Econo Lodge. It's great. Although, I would call to make reservations or make sure to tell them that you booked through Hotels.com. They couldn't find our reservation until we told them how we booked it. Διαβάστε περισσότερα

The hotel is obviously old and run down but it was comfortable and clean. Not noisy. It was a convinent location. It wasn't great but I would stay here again. It was what to expect for the price.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was right. Friendly night clerk gave good reviews of local restaurants. Very satisfied.

For the price I didn't expect much, so not really disappointed. My only complaint is that the carpet was dirty to the point of I wore my sandles when I wasn't in bed or in the shower.

Really nice town and hotel was very quiet and comfortable.

The motel was an excellent choice for our one night stop over before continuing on to Tucson, AZ. The main street location is an easy off/on from I-25. The included breakfast included waffles, hard boiled eggs, 2 cereals, oatmeal, milk, toast, bagels, jelly, 2 juices, tea, and pastry. Free WiFi is available.
