I think it's time you changed over from room keys to cards. Also, $25,00 plus tax is a lot of money for a 11# toy poodle' Hallmark in Newport charges me $10.00 or half price during off season.

the stay was nice, i had to ask several times to get my room cleaned and even after i asked all they did was take the trash out. but other then that the pool aria was great, and everyone was very nice.

The hotel is a blast from the past...from the old school metal keys for the door locks to the interior furnishings it's definitely a dated hotel. The hotel room was ok but again a blast from the past...old TV, carpet and furnishings. A nice surprise the beds were comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The breakfast the next morning was basically […] vending machine food...not very impressive. If you can get a discount to stay at the hotel that is all it's worth the price to stay there. Our room was ready and clean. The price was fair and the staff were kind. The steam room and dry sauna were great. The hot tub was nice and the pool was too cold for my taste. I do not like the fact that animals, namely dogs are allowed in your hotels, the dog in the room above me kept me awake at night running around and barking, I will never stay at a shilo inn again and I will not recommend it to anyone.

why if you carry fox news on your system, can't you offer msnbc as a balance. really sad that you offer so little variety of channels. Your breakfast options are pathetic. 3 out off 4 mornings, you had no yougart.

When I originaly made the reservation I requested the Shilo Inn in Seaside, I ended up in Warrenton/Astoria I wanted to be on the ocean my Grandchildren were sad .I asked the reservation agent 3 times if this wasin Seaside on the ocean & he told me that it was.

BUT WALLS MUST BE VERY THIN. NEIGHBOR SHOWER WAS VERY NOISEY AND ACROSS HALL A FAMILY WAS LETTING THEIR CHILDREN RUN AROUND SO WAS NOISEY WHEN TRYING TO GET TO SLEEP AND WOKEN UP EARLY FROM KIDS PLAYING OUTSIDE DOOR.

the breakfast selection is terrible. If you don't or can't eat eggs, sorry. cereal is not a replacement. can't we have some fruit? Maybe a meat source.

Conveniently located near Astoria, Seaside and Cannon Beach. Great location to stay for exploring the Lewis and Clark expedition.

Poor lay out with no sink in tub /toilet room. One thin blanket on fold out bed and no answer at front desk to ask for more. Nice location. 24 hour pool. Only saw one service personel taking care of pool room and rooms in general. She was very plesant and helpful. Carpet in room needed shampooing.

Our stay was very pleasant! very nice staff! Our service dog was welcome!

I was here for one night. Found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy but adequate and clean. I had a small dog with me. There was a restaurant close by that was very accommodating with my diet. Overall, this was a pleasant experience and close to where I needed to be.

Very clean; good service; pool, sauna, & weight room available 24 hours. Good coffee with breakfast & in lobby.

This is a nice hotel, and it has a good restaurant next to it. I will stay here again.

It was nice to have the family and the dog stay with us for only $25 (one-time fee). Close to Freddies and Starbucks. Wish the weather was better, but over continental breakfast was descent, make your own waffles and staff was courteous.

This was our first time staying at a Shiloh inn. I give it a 6!!!!

Everything about this particular hotel was just OK. We stayed for one night with kids while visiting neighboring Astoria. Our room was fine, but there were some areas that could have been cleaner. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Furnishings were a bit dated, but useful and in working order. We did use the pool and spa area, and the kids […] enjoyed it. It seemed clean and well-kept, though again, utilitarian. The included breakfast was so-so. Fresh waffles were good. All in all, a decent value for the money, but with just a little more effort and updating, it could be a much more pleasant property. The general feeling of this Shilo Inn is that it has been cleaned but not renovated since the late 80s. Even the posters in the elevator showed people still sporting late 80s haircuts and dress. Easy to find as it's right near the Hwy. 101 We enjoyed the indoor heated pool and spa. Very well maintained. Easy check in with pleasant staff. Room was clean and spotless. Near all the landmarks and a short ride to Astoria. I would stay there again!

If we find we've forgotten to leave an extra key, should we bother to mail it back, or is the lock changed anyway? Either way, magnetic keys would seem to be more secure and inexpensive long-term.

For an older hotel, this Shilo Inn is very well kept up. The staff was personable - even the housekeeping staff. Our room was a good size, comfortable, and clean. Located in a good area fairly central to Astoria and Gearhart/Seaside. We would definately stay here again.

While staying in this hotel do not count on getting any sleep. With each flush of a toilet in neighboring rooms it sounded like the entire building was going to explode. All night long! It was awful. Colleen, at the front desk, made you feel at home. She was helpful about recommending places to eat and places to see. She made you feel comfortable, like a friend, not part of hotel management. R room was above the indoor pool so the room smelled like chlorine & was stuffy. Also when we tried to turn the thermostat on it was very loud & made a rattling noise!

This hotel was perfect. The noon check out time let us compete in the Great Columbia Crossing 10K and come back to the hotel and shower before checking out. Staff was very friendly. The pool and workout areas are also open 24 hours. Also Dooger's seafood restaurant iis just across the street.

Was very impressed with the continental breakfast. They had a variety of food to choose from and more than what I usually invision as a "continental breakfast."

Great stay for a good price. Close to everything at the coast. Would stay here again. If I was going to stay in the hotel room longer I would have gone into Seaside or Long Beach and paid more for a ocean view. It was a perfect place to stay if you did not need to stay around the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding!

The desk clerk was SO friendly and helpful when I made a mistake booking our reservation. The room was a great price for the area and we checked in with no problems. The hotel was nice, the staff was nice, but my nonsmoking room smelled very strongly of old cigarette smoke. For what I paid, they really need to invest in professional deodorization.
