loved it , we stayed the night before we flew out to cosemell on our honneymoon.loved it

It was very nice, clean towels at the pool, internet worked fine, and free suttle to the airport, but I would like to have shopping (mall) in the neighbourhood.

airport shuttle arrived quickly. hotel renovated, good breakfast. pool and spa in pretty gardens. only negative, pool was cold. overall excellent and will stay here again

Room was clean and tidy. The front desk service was prompt. Clean bathrooms and wifi was decent as well.

I have stayed at La Quinta IAH before and it is still a good hotel and very good value. One of the best benefits in the past was they offered a complimentary shuttle service to surrounding shops and restaurants. On this trip I was informed they are "no longer offering this". I believe this is probably consistent with other hotels in the airport area, […] but nevertheless a nice benefit that La Quinta offered in the past that helped set them apart. Property was very nice and the rooms were very clean. Staff was friendly and courteous. Just as advertised and close to the airport. The shuttle was prompt and easy to use. Most important, the staff and shuttle driver went above and beyond to assist with an emergency. Customer Service was my profession and the staff is a great example of how it should […] be done. While the Marriot is a little easier to get to, the La Quinta is just a few minutes down the road, and worlds cheaper. If you arrive late at night, chances are it will be booked, but I booked in advance. My room was spacious and clean, with fast internet and a decent range of TV channels. A little limited on bathroom amenities, but not really a problem. […] Some decent selections in the vending machines downstairs. I left before breakfast was served, but they had a small selection of quick-grab muffins already laid out. Very accomodating during check-in. My one gripe is that I could only locate one ice machine, down on the ground floor, whereas my room was up on the 3rd. Still, it's an excellent price and a good location. I hate hotels, and I have to say this was a wonderful hotel! Very friendly staff, and excellent room, it was extremely clean, very modern. I was 100% comfortable! I have seen the rooms in the Marriot nearby, and they were not half as nice..

Perfect place for a stopover....good price, shuttle to and from the airport, breakfast included. An easy stay for continuing your journey.

The room is excellent. Breakfast very nice. Closeness to airport, very good. Only issue is that restaurants in the area are across the highway makign it difficult to walk there. However, the hotel offers bus services to the restaurants. Many thanks indeed. Amr

The room was great. Clean and comfortable. Desk was big and easy to work from. Breakfast was ho hum. Bland and boring. Overall a nice hotel for the price. Fix the breakfast and this would be a 5 star.

My wife and I went to Houston to visit a University with my daughter. I did not know Houston or where it would be safe to stay. I must admit the Hotels.com rating and the hotel reviews is what sold me on the place. We stayed at the La Quinta Inn both before and after flying out of Bush IAH. We had two different experiences. On flying in, we called from the airport for the shuttle and the lady at the front desk really acted like we were bothering her for shuttle details and then we waited forever for the shuttle. On our second night, after flying back, the man […] at the front desk couldn't be more helpful and the shuttle was there quickly. We left early the next morning and the same man was working and pointed out that we could have breakfast even though it was a good hour before breakfast was supposed to start. Great shuttle service. Room was clean and comfortable.

i enjoyed our stay. Wish they had more restaurants in the area within walking distant. The morning breakfast was a great help.

small problems, fire alarm went off, coffee packet in room was not refilled one day. All in all, a good hotel at a decent price, but not a great hotel. Everything was clean.

This La Quinta has better rates than other hotels in the area and while it is nothing special has everything you need. Polite staff, clean big rooms, free breakast, good wireless internet and free shuttle to and from the airport.

First room I was assigned to had a really bad body odor. The thermostat/ventilation did not work in the second room. The phone did not work in the third room but I accepted the room. Front desk was accommodating for the most part, but not sure I would stay here again even though it was convenient to IAH.

After a HORRIBLE day of delayed flights, missed flights, waiting on stand by, and ultimately being told we couldn't get home until tomorrow - AFTER 5 hours in the Houston airport, a taxi took us to La Quinta on JFK. We were greeted by a smiling, kind face named Dexter! We had no clothing, no toiletries, nothing! So, he gave us toothbrushes, tootbhpaste, […] shaving cream, a razor, shampoo, and deoderant - more than is complimentary in the rooms. This La Quinta has it all: friendly shuttle service (they stop for booze), tastefully decorated rooms, comfortable beds, quality linens, gym with TV, and GREAT breakfast.

The hotel is always clean and comfortable. Breakfast is adequate. The only problem we have ever had with this hotel is twice they have forgotten to tell the shuttle driver we were waiting at the airport.

This is a very nice hotel. It doesn't serve meals, except for breakfast, and the nearby hotels are your only choice for meals. It is too bad, because I would have loved to have just stayed on the site.

The hotel is great. One piece of advice: when you return from your trip, if you left your car there, make sure you get on the right transport--the one for the LaQuinta on JFK, not the one on Will Clayton.

The stay was adequate. The room was a good size. the staff was moderately friendly. There was a strange noise periodically. It took me by surprise a few times. I finally realized it was the refrigerator. The second night of my stay I unplugged it. the room was pretty clean.

LQ is my go to place. Love the beds and grub in the morning...

The hotel was great. The service was wonderful. It was a very good visit.

We arrived late at night from Europe. We had a ton of luggage and there was only the front desk manned. The gentleman there busted his butt to help with the luggage, and then he stored them for me. In the morning the front desk allowed us a 1:30 checkout because of our late flight and the attitude and friendliness at this hotel is to be admired by […] all travellers. I had a seminar in the morning and needed a place to put myself overnight to catch a plane the next morning. This motel very nicely satisfied that need. Service was fine, as was the condition and comfort of the room. If you need a comfortable place to stay that is near IAH (Bush Int Airport), I recommend this place. We had a really great time and the entire staff was super nice and accommodating. I really appreciated Mr. James , the shuttle driver! We'll back in 3 months

This was a comfortable place to put you head for a nite or two especially if you are departing from IAH. The staff was very helpful answering questions and seeking out locations for things such as dry ice. The room was comfortable and nice and cool in that 100 degree weather.

My check in was quick and effortless. I found the room cool and clean and 'spacious'. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed and will stay there again when I'm in Houston, Texas.

The help was great, very nice. The best thing of all was our bed, oh it was incrediably comprotable. Looking forward to our next stay.
