Μειναμε τον αυγουστο του 2009 , ειχαμε κλεισει ενα δωματιο με 2 queen κρεβατια,και ηταν ιδιαιτερα ανετο για 3 ανθρωπουσ.Η μπανιερα και η μοκετα φαινοντουσαν παλιες και ως εκ τουτου λιγο βρωμικες,αλλα περα απο αυτα το δωματιο ηταν καθαρο,φροντισμενο και αισθητικα αποδεκτο.Ενδεχομενως χρειαστει να υποστειτε καποιες ουρες στο check-in,check-out αν συμπεσετε […] με την αφιξη/αναχωρηση καποιου γκρουπ.Ειχε μινιμπαρ,σεσουαρ,σιδερο,και κλιματισμο.Πληθωρα εστιατοριων,cafe,και μαγαζιων σε αποσταση λιγων μετρων απο την εισοδο του ξενοδοχειου και σταση μετρο στα 30 μετρα. very convenient nice to see all those dogs We loved the stay. We'll be back next year.

Rooms are small and a bit shabby. Our shower did not work. The heater was too hot so we had too cool the room with the window. Staff was great. Breakfast was lacking. Convenient to the Christmas Garden.

its right next to where I work,t he price was right for 7 hours of sleep, workout room had good cardio and some weights.. its very old, walls are a bit thin, beds arent great, but couldnt beat the price for a last minute stay in ny under 100

All in a few words: discasten, dirty, the rooms rugs like they never gotten vaccumed since maybe 20 yrs ago, the paint of the walls are chipping off and probally has led since its old and you see them on the hallway floors. The beds probally have bed bugs so be aware ! I can continou it's endless.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. It's too old, the look, the smell and get some new bedding. The hotel has non smoking areas however if someone smokes they refuse to enforce their own rules which clearly states a $250 charge for smokng in a non smoking area. The hotel management is more concerned about the flight crews that fly […] in at all hours banging doors and smoking everywhere. This hotel should consider all guests and show some courtesy to the real paying guests. This hotel may boast 1700 rooms (old as they are) but whats the point of that many rooms when you have to queue for 45 minutes just to speak with staff on the front desk. The hotel is perfect! Wonderful experience planning our next stay already!

Upon arriving I noticed that parts of the room were not vaccummed. The room was cold although I turned up the "heat". The hotel is in a great location and close to most tourist sights.

This is our 3rd time to stay in this hotel and we should have learned from past experience that there is no service at all. Front desk is unhelpful, no porter service and key card always does not work upon check in. In one previous stay, there was a European tourist in our room upon check in at 4:00 am! The lobby is always crowded and noisy. The location […] is not that great at all! There are a lot of creepy looking and loud people outside the hotel. Where to begin. This hotel would not be my first choice. It is cheap and my company had business there so it was more for convenience. The floor was worse than outdoor patio carpet. Bunched up and stains (and it was dark carpet). Shower wall had peeling paint and floor had been painted and was now peeling. Outlets were dangerously exposed. we found the Hotel Pennsylvania to be adequate in comfort and cleanliness - the price very affordable and the location perfect for our weekend itinerary. The only great thing about this hotel is the location. The room is to dark and the bathroom is nasty. Definitely not coming back.

The room was awful it is dirty and stained. All the walls were crack the tile was disgusting. The sheets had dirt in them. Would not be surprised if there were beg bug.

This Hotel is located in a very comvenient location close to time square also the subway is right there in pen-station, the hotel is very clean and neat in spite of the years,we'll recomend it,and willing to stay at the hotel again,

we had a good stay just one cranky check out person almost ruined my visit . but the bell captain came to my rescue. thanks

We have stayed in this hotel many times, primarily because of its location. However, I have never before experienced the wait we endured to check in-almost 2 hours!! The lady who checked us in was very nice, but the manager in charge seemed totally disinterested in correcting the situation. We had pre-paid reservations, as did some others, and our actual […] time at the counter was short. However, many people seemed to have difficulties and would tie up a clerk for 15-20 minutes while the rest of us cooled our heels. There should have been a separate line for those folks, attended to by a manager. An express line for pre-payers would also be a good idea. the time of check in did not seem to matter as the line was as long when we finally checked in as when we arrived. This hotel is going through major turnover. The check in process is horrible. Customers were screaming in line because they waited so long with just 1 or 2 cleks on at a time. The rooms are grossly outdated and the "cable tv" leaves a lot to be desired. There is WIFI at a cost even in the business center. I stayed at this hotel and it was very bad stay. The hotel looks like very old and never been cleaned. carpet was smelling very bad. The room bed was not covered with new comforter it was looked like way old. The batroom was bad at all. just 1.5 out of 5. location is very nice as it is in midtown manhattan and penn station.

Get location for my needs, especially to the Amtrak station. The room's a bit run down but comfortable enough for my 1 night stay!

The hotel was very busy, week before Christmas, to be expected. We loved the location of the hotel, but it was very very run down. The hotel is very busy and the staff has to work as fast as they can. The staff is friendly but I never got the feeling that the hotel was a welcoming place to stay.

The only negative things I found with the hotel were the age (everything is old) and the size of the room, very small. All in all , I would stay there again. Good deal for the location. Pretty clean and friendly

This hotel convenient to Madison square Garden, Penn Station, Times Square. Staff is friendly and helpful. The facilities are well worn but nice for the price. Internet is NOT part of the package, unfortunate in today's world.

The Hotel Pennsylvania is an older hotel with some charm. The rooms are very small and run-down. The furniture was missing handles for drawers and was in overall poor shape. At night there were so many noises from the other floors and the elevators, that at times it was hard to sleep. Since we were in NY, we didn't plan on hanging too much in our room. […] So for that reason the hotel was fine. For the price I think it is worth a shot. If you are not very particular and can look past a few things, the Hotel Pennsylvania is priced right and in a great location. The room was tiny but the heat was blazing hot even with the window open OMG I almost roasted. Room was clean and average.

Kept clean but sorely needs renovation. Everything looks very old and tattered. Staff helpful and friendly . Lobby kept nice.

Please don't book this hotel it's not worth it at all it was our first time in New York for the weekend and this place ruined it for us.. We were told 4 different times to check eventually they let us check in around 1pm and not 11 am like they stated at the time of booking.. There was this Chinese lady behind the counter who screamed at us and pointed […] her finger and made faces before runnin to back yelling we just starred at each other trying to figure out what just happened. So we head to out rooms we got in the elevator and as soon as we hit the 8 th floor it was the dirtiest hotel I have ever seen in my entire life!!!! Awful!!!!! we could find our room so I asked the cleaning for help she said it around the corner and she said " check to see if it clean I don't know it could be or it couldn't I don't remeber if I cleaned it or not" and I just looked at her and said " I don't think its on us to see if the room has been cleaned mam" she rolled her eyes and kept pushing her cart...so We ignored we arrived at our room and the key wasn't workig after the 10th attempt it finally worked... we walked in to find the dirtiest beds, dirtiest furniture, mold on the wall which literally there were pieces of the walls all over the floor, there was pubic hair on the toilet and the bath tub was brown!!!! We had 2 Rooms and they were both awful!!!!!!!! So we called the from desk and a man answered told him what happened and everything that slickers he said" come to the lobby speak to the manager. So we went back down stairs we waited 30 minutes to speak to the manager we told her our concerns and she looked at me and said " so what do you wan me to do for you" I just blew up !!!!!!! we struggled for 2 hours I was trying to check out and go some place more descent.. there wasn't a single soul there who was nice and welcoming only the nice guy who helped us with our luggages .... this is the worst experience I have ever had and I WILL NEVER come to this hotel again please please p Διαβάστε περισσότερα

Every time I travel to NY I stay at Hotel Pennsylvania. The location is PERFECT!! Close to trains, MSG, Macys, Empire State Building and Times Square. Price is PERFECT and the rooms are always clean. Staff is very helpful. If you're not looking for luxury but connivence this is the place to stay.

Hotel desk directed me to flyers on counter (when I was checking out) stating that the city was working on steam pipes servicing the hotel so there would be a heat and hot water service interruption. I was not told about this outage until AFTER the hot water and heat were shut off. Al

If you're expecting updated nice rooms for this price then this is NOT the hotel for you. HOWEVER if you just need a place to crash and a shower and want to save tons of money and want an IDEAL location, then this is DEFINITELY the hotel for you. My room looked clean until I found a cigarette butt on the floor - in my NON smoking room. NO bedbugs tho […] and the shower was great. My room was spacious. You cannot beat this location!!! I was more into saving money than getting a really nice room so for me personally, this hotel was good. I didn't mind the run down feel but I think my boyfriend did. We enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. The location was excellent and easy to find. Our room was huge with impressive views of the Empire State Building and the Chrylser Building. I was disappointed inmy room.. dark, dank, and falling apart.. it was cheap, but pretty bleak. Glad I was only there o ne night and I could walk to the train station.. that is the only good thing about it.

It was the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. The halls were creepy and I felt unsafe. The room was clean, but the common areas were not. The location was great that is the most positive thing I can saw about this hotel.
