I picked this hotel because it's close to (15 min) the Duke Energy center where I was working. However, the lock on the door was broken, I had to have the card re-keyed everytime I went in the room for 4 days. No maid service was provided for 2 days, the remote didn't work properly, there was garbage on the bathroom floor when I got there and the continental […] breakfast was a joke. The rooms were ok, but the hallways very dirt and smelly. I was not expecting a lot for the pric but at our other stays at the same price range was way better Cleaning not a big priorty for this hotel Breakfast was fine Would not stay at this hotel again!

This place is amazing, and the staff makes you feel at home and comfortable, a true good experience!

The hotel smelled of mold and body odor. To start off there were bags of garbage in the lobby and hallways. I went into the room to find cigarette burns in the comforter on the lumpy bed, the bathroom was stained with who knows what and the carpet/trim on the walls was falling apart. This hotel had a smell to it the minute we walked in. The room did not feel clean. The tv was old. The bathroom was clean however. Totally needs an update.

The thru-wall heating system did NOT have any control knobs on it. You had to plug it in to use it (fortunately it was in heating mode) and when you were too warm, you had to unplug it to shut it off. The TV remote did NOT have any batteries in it, and when I went to the service desk to get some...the person on duty did NOT have any and said he would […] get some and call the room or bring some up, he did NEITHER ONE. The outlet where the coffee maker was located did NOT work and I thought the coffee maker was broken. I did try another outlet, however, I had to unplug either the lamp or the TV in order to use it. I needed to travel to Florence for business. This hotel was close to the building. I thought it could not be as bad as many reviews said. It was worse. The building and my room stunk like smoke. Service was terrible. The person at the front desk acted as though helping us was a chore. The room door didn't work. The hallway smelled bad and the lights all flickered. The room was ok and the location was perfect for us, right down the street from the Florence Mall District and across the street from Waffle House. when we checked in we were given 1 room .. we go to the room and it's completely torn apart and the front desk did not know , they gave us another room and it was filthy , and after finding a roach we were moved yet again ! the 3rd new room was clean and we were happy that they moved us . but the next day when we went to take showers after a long day […] there was no water ! we had to leave the hotel and go to a neighboring gas station to use the restrooms. i will never reccomend this paticular hotel to anyone Διαβάστε περισσότερα

The staff was friendly, but the atmosphere was very uncomfortable. We left and went to another hotel less than a hour after checking in.

...even though renovations are under way, the room was left dirty and toilet didn't flush until manager made corrections. Another room had blood stains on wall! Price is always low, so it's a bargain. New owners were very accommodating. It's a cheap nights sleep!

The hotel was very comfortable for me. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful and courtious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great value for their money. The room was not as promise. EXP: I was promise a Iron/ Iron Board, Microwave, Refridgerator, There was No Elevators, Ice Machine Out Of Order on the second floor, 2 Light Bulbs missing in room and it Smelled.

We pre-paid for this hotel during a cross country trip after finding a decent rating on hotels.com without doing the proper cross-checking on multiple websites. Just as we pulled up to the room we were concerned as the yard was 90% weeds. Upon entry, the room smelled horrible… we thought we were perhaps in a smoking room but it was clearly labeled non-smoking. […] We pulled the beds apart looking for bed bugs as everyone should do and found some suspicious remnants that might have been droppings and molting casings, but no bugs themselves. The box springs were wrapped in double layers of plastic which was very strange. There were 4-5 splotches of blood on the wall that looked like someone had smashed bugs filled with blood leaving marks the size of a quarter behind. Behind the beds and under there was a ton of dirt. After we found the place we started looking up more reviews and found several reports of bed bugs. The beds were horrible and between the bad mattresses and feelings of creepy crawlies on us (either real or imaginary!) neither of us got more than an hour sleep at best. We ran from the motel at 6AM the next morning without showers (we filled the tub with our luggage to avoid anything getting in the luggage). This was unfortunately the worst hotel on a 10 day trip. The room smelled like smoke even though it was a smoking room there was no reason for the bed sheets, comforter , pillow cases to smell like smoke. The walls had spider webs. This was the ONLY hotel with an available room as there was some kind of festival in Cincy over the weekend. Not only was the hotel not clean, but there was problems with multiple rooms and the A/C not working (ours was fine) and the temps outside were nearing 100, with heat indexes over 115. The ONLY good thing about the room was there was a microwave […] and mini-fridge. The carpet was dirty, it looked like it wasn't vacuumed in about a year, there was cigarette burns in our blankets on the beds. Another bonus: no bedbugs. The towels and washclothes in the room were all stained and nasty looking. The counter in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been wiped down in several months. The walls in the room and the bathroom were filthy, they needed a good cleaning or painted or both. The room was marked NON-SMOKING, but the room, the bed linens (if you can call them that) and everything reaked of cigarette smoke. I checked out one day early, because the condition of the hotel. The staff is very nice, but the AC only worked on High. If you tried to lower the guage, there was a dirty smell of furnace in the air. The first room the TV didn't work. The second room the AC couldn't be regulated. The curtain was drooping down unattached to the rod. The bathrooms were […] not very clean. Paper cups were used instead of glass. Coffee and condiments were not refreshed in the rooms daily. The halls were hot and narrow. The janitors had the halls blocked. You had to step over the bags of trash and scoot past the cart. The parking lot was so trashy that you'd have thought there had been a sporting event held there. The weeds were so high around the hotel and the shrubs that it looked very unattended. I travel a lot and stay in lots of hotels. This was one that I would never stay in again. The first thing I did when I arrived was to go to the bathroom. I looked into the bath tub and it was stained and very dirty. I did not use the facility at all. I realize it was a busy time with all the Nascar fans but I wish it had been cleaner. NEEDED A JUMP START AND HOTEL MANAGER HELPED OUT

20 minutes from downtown Cincy, 15 to CVG airport, 40 minutes to Indiana casinos on Ohio River, easy access to I-71 & 75, tons of fast food nearby. Rooms were basic but clean, no issues with anything, huge parking lot for a smaller hotel. Next door to a KFC and Long John Silver's but no problems and in fact a plus if you like that chow. Internet quality […] was a 5 on scale of 1-10, TV channels limited to local fare plus a few cable news shows and the usual HBO stuff; NBA playoffs were on but not as much baseball as I would have liked. I stayed at the TRavelodge in Florence Ky April 2nd-3rd. The bed was fine, bathrooms were fine. You will need to bring bar soap as they do not carry any bar soap. The Air and heat did not work at all. Hotel staff was very nice and had me stay in a different room. I paid little to stay here and I got what I paid for. I would stay here again

Our towels had actual blood stains on them, bright red blood stains like they haven't been washed and when I told the check out person, he brushed it off and checked me out, no apology or anything. How disgusting. The beds were lop sided for some reason..I was literally sleeping almost down to the floor.

If you are looking for a cheap place to crash for one night. I don't think I would stay the week. The people were nice enough. The bed was a little uncomfortable.

Room was very nice. The bathroom was great. Everything was just great. The owners were very friendly. The hotel was close to major highways and had easy access. Lots of restaurants and shopping near by. The hotel was having a problem with their outside lights. I was able to figure out the problem. The owners were very grateful. I enjoyed that very  […] much. On my business trip, I needed a place to sleep and it did the job. It's a no frills hotel-no microwave/mini fridge in the room I stayed in and the cable channels were sub-par. The hallway seemed dimly lit and very narrow (I could stand in the middle and touch the walls without extending my arms much). For a 2 star hotel, we received a 4 star stay at the Travelodge Florence. The staff was great, the room was nice, and the area was perfect for our trip. Except for the microwave problem, everything was great. The staff worked with us to get us access to a microwave. I will recommend this Travelodge and will stay there on our next visit to the area.

This hotel looks like it is still in the 1980s. Veneer furniture that was peeling, wallpaper borders, outdated bedding. The room seemed dingy. We were travelling with a 1 year old and I wouldn't even think of bathing her in the bathtub. My standards are not high for a hotel - I basically just want somewhere to lay my head at night and feel safe. This motel needs new management. We arrived late and were given a room that smelled profusely like mold and the whole room stunk. The other room had garbage in the waste basket. When we were given two other rooms, they were hot and stuffy (not fun when its late at night and you want to sleep.) You'll have better luck somewhere else, I'm sure.
