The only thing that lets it down is car parking, perhaps a deal with neighbouring facilities would help improve this?

Had booked with 2 beds, but when we arrived in the room, there was only one queen size bed. They put us in another room, without any hassle. Good view of the Swan River. Room a bit small but comfortable. Close to city.

Basic but comfortable and clean. Great value restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Very helpful staff. About 1/2 hr walk to Convention Centre. Only one lift working so it took a minute or two at busy times. Overall good value for money.

Loved how close it was to what we wanted to do, and it's right by the car rental place as well, so that was great. Hotel was clean and had a kitchenette. Would stay here again

1st night - great, we got a studio room with couch and table/chair. Clean, big, with a small but appreciated balcony. I checked out and came back another night in a few days. 2nd night stay - not so great, we got a really tiny room for the same price. No couch/table with 1 odd chair. The AC was not cold and it is so historic that I couldn't find the […] AC control (hidden under a panel you'd have to press). Called the manager n ask to change to a bigger room but manager came over and thought me how to switch the AC on. Was not offered to change room and was expected to deal with it but i only had a few hours stay that night so i didn't bother arguing. Bed linen this night feels dusty and scudded that i hate touching. OK hotel, but a bit pricey for the service offered. No free wifi, the paid one was low quality. A big plus is the "free" parking, but there aren't many parking stalls available. With the exception of Justin, the front desk staff were kind of unfriendly. I have no big complains, I kind of new what to expect. I would stay there again.

$245 for a room for one night. Room was old and dirty with four single beds.More like backpackers accomodation than a hotel.

Our friends booked at the same time as us but we paid extra for a double bed and they went for the cheaper rate which was single beds. They then asked for a double ar rhat rate and got it at the cheaper rate. It was a much nicer room too so rhis was a bit disappointing.

Too expensive for this grade hotel but is cheaper than the good brands eg Novotel . Everywhere it is stuffy . Room has to have Aircon otherwise uncomfortable. Servicing is inconsistent.

Just stayed overnight for an early morning flight out combined with a look around central Perth. Generally good with the only disappointment being the noise from the room next door through a locked link door.

Great basic home-away-from-home. Excellent breakfast; covered secure parking. Centrally located. Friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately we were in Perth during a heat wave and our room air con really struggled to keep up. A great value.

Have stayed at this hotel many times, stayed there last weekend, when we booked in I was informed they had upgraded us to a refurbished room on the 6 th floor! The staff of the hotel were very friendly. My only complaint is that the walls were paper thin and you could hear everything from next rooms. we had a twin share room, and there was plenty of room, with a sitting area, and a fully equipped kitchenette. We stayed here as we were attending an event in the city and this hotel was perfectly suited to our needs and we would do the same again. We checked in at 3pm and got a free parking spot. Breakfast was included and was excellent!

The standard room we booked was very small, the "queen size" bed was more of a double bed. The bed's length was short so could be a problem for tall people. We ended up paying extra to be moved to a studio room with a kitchenette, sofa, & table, more room to move around.

Staff were very friendly. Position of hotel good as we were going to a restaurant nearby. The air conditioner was very noisy so we had to switch off to get to sleep. Could do with another towel rail in the bathroom for wet towels and a hook for clothing.

Our stay was fine. This hotel needs refurbishing. Although clean, rooms are bare and antiquated, with no charm. Free parking is LIMITED. Had a pleasant stay over 15 nights. I was travelling with my elderly mother and we both found the hotel to be clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is great. We were lucky to have a part view over the Swan river to the South east from the 5th floor with a small balcony. I had asked for a room not too close […] to the lifts and this was arranged at check-in. We only had noise issues once but, on calling security, they promplty attended to the offending guests and the problem was resolved. We paid a bit extra for cooking facilities and if I had any gripes it would be that the kitchenette was a bit small. We also felt the bathroom was a bit small. The Goodearth hotel is in a good location on the edge of the CBD and close to the Swan river. We appreciated that the doors to balcony could be opened as we had very warm weather and air conditioning also available. Only problem was our room was close to the lifts which was noisy but staff were very cooperative and shifted us after the first night.

I consider this to be a budget hotel yet expensive rate. However due to shortage of hotels in Perth one has not much choice and most hotels take advantage of hiking up the rates . Cest la vie

We only used our room rather than use the other facilites such as the restaurant. While the hotel provided parking we were unable to find an avilable park the 2 nights we stayed-though we were able to park safely on the road. I have stayed here many times: not all the rooms are of the same standard, however the hotel is comfortable and clean. No food or drinks after 11pm which can be problematic for people arriving on late flights.Some rooms are very good, others just average.

This hotel was perfect for our short stay. The cleanliness especially in the bathroom was A+. Only complaint was there is parking available but 2x we had to park in the street but as it was a weekend that was no problem.

Good location for the CBD but that's about it. 1980s style furniture and decor. Got there at 9.15pm for a one night stopover. No restaurant at that hour. Only available was a canteen style food and beverage dispensing unit. Cheese platter was grim. My research had told me there were no travelodge type hotels close to the airport but I saw at least two […] on the way into town. A hotel room should have a chair at least. Sitting on a bed is uncomfortable. The lighting is all fluorescent and bright and cold. A standing lamp would be appreciated.
