This room had the best shower head in ANY hotel we have ever stayed.We have a rather elaborate shower at home and are always disappointed at hotel showers. This one had great pressure & hot water.

The pool was so cold we couldn't swim to cold for the wife and kids and we asked staff why it was so cold and just got a blank stare so don't go if you plan on swimming

Hotel staff was very friendly. Breakfast was decent. Pool area and fitness center were outdated. Bathroom in pool area had rust on the metal inside. Room was nice; however, floors are very thin as our neighbor upstairs was stomping around all evening and morning.

This was the second time we've stayed in the Holiday Inn in Minnetonka, MN and it was just as good as the first time. Staff is very nice and complimentary. Breakfast is always good and full, not picked over and bare. Rooms are comfortable and cozy. Pool area and hot tub are great too. We have been traveling back and fourth to Minnesota and Iowa in search […] of relocation to the cities and have always stayed in this hotel, and will keep staying here as long as it's needed. can you believe the fridge didn't work !! Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

We had a positive experience at this hotel. It was kind of off the beaten path, but still easy to find with GPS. Wished there had been other stores closer to the hotel, like a Target or Wal-Mart when we realized we had forgotten swim diapers!

The Staff was so very friendly and more than helpful! The pool and the hot tub were perfect. Also, the breakfast was fantastic, lots of choices and fresh. Also, the mall of america is super close. Would stay there again.

My boyfriend and I were in town for the weekend looking to relocate to the area, and stayed at this hotel, it was clean, quiet, the staff was extremely pleasant and nice, free breakfast was awesome and the hotels location was so close to everything! We will be staying at this hotel for every trip we make up there during our relocation process.

Nice running trail right next to the hotel. Breakfast was awesome. Room was clean and modern. staff were very helpful.

The hotel & rooms were nice, but I was disappointed that when I went to check in, the king suite that I had reserved had been given away that morning to other guests. So we were switched to a room with two queen beds.....not what I reserved or wanted.

Paid too much, got to little. Stuck me in the handicap room with no options. Front desk is crabby.

This was a great hotel and fantastic location for what we were up there for. The Renaisance Festival. The only drawbacks were 1) The fitness center was small but that's the way it is in most hotels. 2) we had to drive over 5 miles just to get some fast food. The only close place was Jimmy John's.

Very friendly, happy staff--a joy to check in. Only difficulty with this hotel is finding your way back onto the highway as the surrounding streets are a maze of one-ways. very nice, hot breakfast. Very good for the money!

The room and hotel were very nice, staff was friendly and the room was spacious. Breakfast was delicious as always (Holiday Inn Exp. is know for their breakfasts). My only complaint is that the bathroom is tiny. To dry my son off and get in him in his pajamas after his bath, I basically had to lay him under the bathroom counter because there was hardly […] any floor space... This was a great hotel room for a decent price. The on ramp isn't bad, it's right on 62 which isn't bad, not as nice as on 169 but it's still pretty convienent. There are two caribou coffees and one sports bar within walking distance which is great. This hotel was definitly worth staying at. The price was good and the room was extremely clean. The people were friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. They had a cold and hot breakfast. I loved the pancake maker! I would stay here again.

Friendly staff. Hotel was in an isolated area. Not too much around. Not many restaurants around and no shopping centre around. Nice breakfast.

front desk was fast,and very helpful in every way. breakfast was well organized and very well prepared. room was clean and bathroom was clean. parking lot felt safe at night. my only complaint would be the bath tub bottom the slant of the bottom of the tub was to much when the soap got on the surface of the bottom of the tub it was very dangerious it […] made taking a shower a very unplesant time. even my wife complained to me about it. other than that 'great time. hotel was very busy in afternoon but quieted down in the evening. GREAT breakfast! Im very picky when it comes to cleanliness...but I wouldnt hesitate to stay here again! very clean and no complaints. great price too!

The pool and hot tub were great! It was easy to find the hotel. The staff were wonderful and helpful to find restaurants in the area. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great-hot and cold items. The pancake machine was great for hot pancakes. We would definitely stay here again. Very clean hotel with helpful staff. They were doing some renovation in the hallways, but that did not affect our stay. There are a few restaurants nearby, but a very quiet area.

Very close to restaraunts, coffeehouses, and a really nice area. Easy to find and nice, quiet rooms with comfy beds, and plenty of ammenities.

The hotel was very nice. Very good continental breakfast. It was perfect for our needs and the price was exceptional.

First off, the hotel was right off the freeway, so very easy to get to. It also had a coffee shop and restaurants right across from the parking lot. Check-in was ok. I asked for early check in which I personally think should be earlier than 3 p.m. but the rooms weren't ready. We booked 2 adjoining rooms and I guess they only have 2 sets of those. In […] the future, I would book the hotel that was easy to get into earlier in the day. Even though they all say they can't guarantee it, I've always had success getting into my room early with enough advance notice. The hotel was, in general, nice enough. You could tell there was definitely wear and tear. The pool was on the smaller side but satisfactory. The hot tub got way too hot in the evening but they did turn the temp down and then it was fine. Overall, it was pretty basic. The breakfast (included in room rate) was tasty but again, overcrowded at breakfast time and the workers were scrambling to keep things stocked. I felt kind of irritated, bumping into people and having to wait for the refills with little kids. And I had to wait to get a table. I came into the hotel dog tired and soaking wet. The staff at the desk got me a towel and a hot cup of coffee, then got me checked in. When I asked about places to eat near by, they had excellent recommendations. My room was quiet and clean; the bed comfortable. This hotel was exceptionally clean! I haven't had such a clean room in a while. Room (suite) was worth the extra few $$ since we brought a youth group there. Staff was friendly. Breakfast better than average and well-stocked. I would stay there again.

Conveniently located just off the major highway. The staffs are courteous and friendly. When we asked to have the other party who would arrived later to be on the same floor, the request was met without hesitation. Way to go. Keep up the good work.

I travel weekly to the Twin Cities and decided to test a different hotel in the area for my experiences were not a very good one and have asked my company's travel coordinator to not place me at your hotel in the future. My largest concern existed around how poorly soundproofed your rooms were and exactly how much I could hear from my neighbor's room. […] I asked two other HIE dwellers if they had the same issue and one man told me yes but he has just learned to deal with it. This hotel had friendly staff, clean rooms, clean facilities, and it wasn't located too far from different restaurants and stores. The price was definitely great for the room we had. Our room was located near an ice machine, but it was never disruptive of sleep. The hotel was really quiet, with the exception of families walking into and out of their […] rooms, (and that was never enough to be bothersome). We unfortunately never took advantage of the continental breakfast, so I couldn't comment on that, but I'm sure it was great. The hotel isn't located too far from the Mall of America (it was about a 15-20 minute drive), which was a definite plus.
