Red Roof Inn Jamestown - Falconer - Falconer

I was honestly surprise, and had an excellent night sleep. The room was excellent: clean towels, bathroom clean, flat screen, good lighting to read and quiet. I would honestly visit another red roof. The manager demonstrates pride in his/her location. Very nice and inexpensive.

we entered the side door near our room on Saturday evening to the smell of marijuana in the hallway across from our room. I did not care for this at all, we had 2 small children with us. There was also other children close by. Everything else was terrific though and day staff was very helpful and friendly

We stopped briefly on a long drive - the room was fairly clean but double beds seem small and many things in bathroom were broken - towel bar fell off wall and the shower knob also fell off - it is also quite far off the highway (I-90) so not nearly as convenient as hoped. But it was quite inexpensive and the staff was friendly

For what you pay, it is what it is. While the room was non-smoking, the reception area and halls smelled strongly of stale smoke. The towels were very small also. We stay at this hotel overnight before skiing at Holiday Valley. It is hands-down the best low cost hotel we've ever stayed in. In fact, I never would have considered it until I read the reviews here- and I agree with them all. The rooms are average sized and very clean. One advantage for us is that most (maybe all) of the rooms on the first floor have […] sliding doors that open to the parking lot. This makes unloading ski equipment very easy- four steps from the car to inside the room. It has been relatively quiet and empty during the winter weekends we have been, unless there happens to be a younger rambunctious ski club staying there. The staff is friendly and helpful- even at the very late hours we often check-in at. Was looking for low-priced but comfortable hotel for overnight stay between 2 days of skiing at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville. Hotel was fine. Nothing luxurious, but clean and relatively comfortable. Wish they offered 2 queen beds instead of 2 doubles. Mattresses were a little thin but not uncomfortable. You get a great hotel experience for a considerably low price. The staff there are REALLY polite and accomodating for anything you might need. The rooms are clean, the mattress is really comfortable, and there's plenty of space.

Good location for most of Jamestown. Friendly staff. Coffee pot going all the time which was a big deal for me as I can't get enough coffee!! Big snow storm while we were there & I was worried about getting back to Buffalo but the desk clerk assured me the roads would be clear and advised me on the best route to take to get back to Buffalo. We stayed here once before and it was disgusting. However we needed to stay in the same area again with our dogs and noticed that this place got much better reviews than our previous experience would indicate so we decided to give it a second chance. This time, to improve our chances, we got their "deluxe" room which is really just a few dollars more […] and still less than most of the competition. It wasn't the most spotless room we've stayed in but definitely acceptable and over all was pretty comfortable. This area along the Southern Tier Parkway is not known for it's fine food and accommodations. On the other hand, this would surely be one of the least expensive places you've stayed in and is pretty good for the price. Just be sure to take a good look at your room and be prepared to ask for a change if needed. The front desk staff was very helpful in recommending places to eat dinner and breakfast. The hotel was quiet and well-kept. For the price, the Red Roof Inn is probably the best value in the Jamestown/Falconer area. The room was comfortable , spacious, clean , well located just off the highway and convenient to Jamestown. What it lacks in charm it more than makes up for in function. . I will stay there again.

All of the staff were most attentive and friendly. The high standard of cleanliness has made this Redroof Inn at Falconer, NY a favorite when on frequent visits to the Jamestown area. The free ample parking is superb as is the free wifi service!

My only issues were the cleanliness of the sheets and a smoke smell in the hallway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

At first glance, we were very disappointed with the hotel. There were absolutely NO extras. Our non smoking room was clearly a smoking room in the past. They were trying to cover the stench with some sort of air freshener and the room smelled awful. People were nice though and room seemed clean. Just outdated. If they updated the rooms it would be much better.

A good value. I appreciated the wi-fi and in room refrigerator. I missed the breakfast especially since there is no "close by dining." A very good location to explore the beauty of the NY southern tier this time of year.

The Inn looked a little run down. The room did not appear to have been cleaned very well. There were areas in the bathroom which were not clean. The clock/radio was old and beat up.

The young man at the desk when we checked in was very friendly, even engaging the children in conversation. At check out, the young lady was business only, she didn't ask if everything was ok. This was an old facility, so I think everything was as good as it could be, considering the age of the place. Our only complaint was that our room was not made up after our first night. However, the management was very apologetic and offered us a free movie.

my stay was great the rates very fine the staff where very polite and helpful my only suggestion would be to wipe out the microwave a bit more often as some guests are not very careful or at least leave wipes close to the microwave

The room was clean not fancy but clean, every time we went for coffee it was empty. I had a gross worm in my room tried to bring it to the desk but dropped it on my way down and couldn't find it. Very gross bug!

I booked this room as a birthday gift for a loved one and I. A one night get away to relax. The lack of cleanliness of the room was what I saw first. Toe nail clippings on the carpet, black long hairs on the pillow, mine is blond.Thank God I brought my own pillow and blanket. Then the next morning when I opened the curtains I saw all the mold growing […] on the sliding glass door. Great! I have two auto immune diseases and have to be extra carefull with things like mold. I informed the desk clerk upon checking out. Of course she was sorry but she also said those rooms are always clean. Yeah right. Well they need do a better job. I took pictures, I have proof. No coffe pot in the room. But they had it in the lobby. Sure they did, for the other people before me because when I went to get some it was empty and it was before nine am. The staff was very kind but the hotel contestation where terrible. The carpet was dirty (turned the bottom of my feet black), the room had a bad musky smell and we ran out of hot water. Red Roof really needs to think about spending some money to fix this stuff.
