Hotel was clean. Room needed more lighting. Great location.

the Hotel was great very clean,and nice I loved the waffle's on the Breakfast buffet. and Kathy at hte desk was really nice and so was Mr. Patel the manger. It close to anything that you would want to see and we were told that Goost Town is reopening this May. and it is right down the street. We will be going back again soon.

A get away form the bigger cities was nice. It was off season not a lot of attractions were open. A nice get away .

My wife and I flew in from California and spent a week at this Hotel and I have to say it was a beautiful experience! I love the serenity of the surrounding area. It was a big difference from the hustle and bustle that we're use to out in Los Angeles but that's exactly why we picked a place that was "Country". Front desk counter personnel were great and very helpful and Penny (housekeeping) was awesome in keeping our room clean and stocked with the necessities needed. We enjoyed it so much we actually stayed an extra day for good measure. I would definitely stay there again for sure. It didn't bother us that we were there to visit our Son and his lovely wife and of course our two Grandsons who actually live about 25 miles away. Great for the money. Indoor pool was clean as was the room. Close to Wheels Through Time which is the best place in town. Check out Legends, too.

There was a mix up in my room. They did not have the room I reserved. Hats off to them, they put me up across the street with a fantastic room. Better than the one I reserved. Any Motel that will do me such a nice thing deserves my business.

I would not stay at this hotel again. First of all, When I checked in I got there at 4:30 pm check in time is at 3 pm my room wasn't clean, I went to the front desk the lady was rude when I pointed it out, so that threw my schedule off plan, then when I finally got into my room the door wouldn't lock nor close all the way. I enjoyed the stay.. very nice room layout.

Overall our stay was great. Hotel was great for the price. No surprises or disappointments.

Clean and close to ski resort. Fridge and microwave in room.

We have stayed here more than once and will surely again. Very comfortable, convenient, and economical. We love this place...the hot tub is especially nice.

We just needed a place to sleep after a couple long days on the ski hill and this hotel fit the bill. It was very affordable and the rooms were comfortable. The mini-fridge and sitting areas were a nice touch. Although we went down the road for a big breakfast, the hotel did offer a small, continental breakfast which is always nice.

This hotel was one of the most economical choices in the area yet had a set of amenities expected of more costly venues: suites with micro, fridge, separate living area, warm indoor pool, hot tub, coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby 24-7, hot breakfast included. Very cordial front desk staff. Each room also has a window seat in a bay window. It snowed […] the night I stayed and I spent a quiet hour reading in the bay window and watching the snow fall after a soak in the hot tub. Room-mediocre. You get what you pay for. 6:15 on Sat morning a boy scout troop got up and made a tremendous amount of noise-yelling-constantly going in and out of their rooms. Got the hotel the night before we arrived at a fraction of the regular rate. Friendly staff, spacious suite, lots of amenities and is centrally located to all of Maggie Valleys activities. The only problem was a barking dog two rooms down and our coffee maker didn't work. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay!

Not bad for the price - understaffed, considering it was a holiday week near a ski resort that was at capacity the day we were there - front desk person both days was having to do multiple jobs at once - none of which were being done well - breakfast was OK, but no attendant on duty (front desk rep. was running frantically between desk & breakfast area […] trying in vain to keep things cleaned & stocked) - if it were not at full capacity OR there were more staff members on hand it would have been a better experience. We stayed during a very slow time. Hotel was quiet and very comfortable. This is our place to stay in Maggie Valley. No need to look anywhere else.

We were very happy with our stay. Turns out we didn't actually spend as much time in our room as we planned thanks to the casino, but the staff was extremely friendly and the room was nice as well. Overall the hotel was more than adequate.

We booked this hotel because of price. We have stayed at 3 other places in Maggie Valley, all of which were satisfactory, but needed to save a few dollars on this trip. What a surprise! We won't stay anywhere else in Maggie from now on! Very comfortable room...even a window seat! And the hot tub was sooooo relaxing. Just what we needed. The room was adequate for the price. The biggest problem was another hotel guest apparently was smoking something in rm 124 that engulfed the hotel walkway.

Major concern no bed side lamps, bright over the bed light is the only way to read at night in bed...at least without keeping your partner awake. Only 3 pillows for two people and no chair to sit comfortably in to read, so you could not even prop up in bed. Room was suppose to have pull out sofa it was a suite, but there was no sofa or chair. The staff was so very helpful and this made our stay very enjoyable.

Toilet seat loose...pillows suck, otherwise a good choice on a budget.

Get service, employees are helpful, rooms was better then I thought it would be

The problem we had was with housekeeping, On Saturday our room was not cleaned until after 3:00 pm in the afternoon. They cleaned the rooms that were vacated that day before cleaning ours. My husband wanted to lay down that afternoon and could not get back in the room.

The hotel was a good value for the money and time spent there. However, there are several other better options in the area that we were unaware of. The "continental breakfast" was lacking. Hotel needs updating. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We really loved this Inn. The staff was very friendly and ready to help with anything we needed. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was all I had hoped for and more. I would recommend this Inn to anyone who was visiting Maggie Valley. Very affordable and comfort all in one!

The room had a smell. I had to spay to get the odor out.

This motel was similar to a number of others on the Maggie Valley strip. The prices were all in the same range but the Microtel ha an indoor pool and hot tub where many of the other motels did not. The ice make did not work, the hot tub did not work, the room had a odor. Also rules no pet there was a barking dog for 24 hrs. We where told we could use the pool and hot tub at the hotel next door also there ice machine. I went to relax.Not for Stress. I go to Magee Valley each Labor Day, I will not return to your hotel.

The hotel staff were not very friendly. The hotel was clean and provided a nice continental breakfast. For the price, I can't complain.

Front desk person on the evening shift was most pleasant and helpful with directions and places to eat . Desk person in the morning during breakfast, just a bit rude. She needs to take lessions from the evening person. Accomadations were nice and the window bedding area just as cozy as the beds.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Could not ask for any more.
