Kids pool was excellent for our small kids. We enjoyed our stay very much. Will defiantly stay there again

Our stay was comfortable. I did not use the bathtub as there was a ring around it. A definate indication that it had not been scrubbed out thoroughly.There were also several black hairs in the bed that I slept in and the sheets were very wrinkled. We appreciated the continental breakfasts. Your pool and exercise rooms were well used and made our stay a pleasure. Unfortunately, the bathroom was close to non-functional as the choice to place the toilet opposite the sink left no room to stand.

Bathroom was a little small for our liking but hotel was quiet even with a full house. Staff were friendly, efficient and prompt when needed. Great access to major routes so getting around town was easy. Lots of food and shopping options close by. Would consider staying there again.

we had a lovely time...the young man at reception was super friendly and helpful the room was clean ..even the stair wells were clean !! the swimming faclity was great !! all in all although a bit older hotel it was done in the new retro look I liked it and continental breakfast was basic but the price of hotel was so good we would never complain.... […] keep up the good work were coming back!!! Hotel had great location. Our room was upgraded free of charge. Continental breakfast was great. The bed was a little on the hard side but the rest of the room was nice.

The hotel was a bit of a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating and access from a major thoroughfare was fairly easy.

For the price we paid the it was worth the stay. The hotel was really decent. Carpeting in the rooms really should be changed so that it could be cleaner quite a lot of stains and filthy. Kept shoes on all the time while walking around in room.

Stayed at the Econo Lodge for two nights during a recent stay in Calgary. The hotel was an older building, but the rooms were clean and actually very quiet considering that the hotel was located right on McLeod Trail. It was very conveniently located for everything we were doing in SW and SE Calgary and getting to downtown was very easy. The only think […] I was a bit disappointed in was the state of the pool area and the exercise room. The exercise facility was very small with only three pieces of equipment, one of which..the recumbent bike was broken. The jacuzzi hot tub was only luke warm, but this may have been because it wasn't used much and was off for a long period of time. It took quite a while to warm up and never did get really hot. The continental breakfast was just the basic fare, although not much different from what is offered in most other budget hotels. This is an older style hotel. It's not perfect but the staff was excellent and we had absolutely no problems. There is plenty of places to eat within walking distance from the room. There is also a grocery store just up the street. It is a straight shot up the street up to the Calgary Stadium(under 10 minutes if you hit the lights wrong). Hotel was ok. Good for an overnight. The location for us was the most important. Pillows did smell of smoke in a smoke free room.

Our room was very quiet and comfortable, but there was the issue of the large Dog just down the hall.

I was in a room directly over the office and adjacent to a rental room/lounge. The exterior office doors were sliding automatic doors that kept opening and closing all night waking me up each time. The rental room had been rented to a large group for a dancing and singing practice. This is fine unless your room is right next door and there is little […] or no soundproofing. It was very good for my purpose. They were renovating quite a few rooms, but it didn't affect me at all. I did notice that the carpet in my room was badly stained, but again I didn't really care. The bed, couch, bathroom, and hot tub were all great. The front desk service people were awesome! I didn't get a chance to sample the breakfast b/c the front […] desk person told me it was served until 10:30. However, when I got there at 10:05, it was already over. Was a great stay... Beds were hard but was only there one night. Some of the staff were rude and arrogant as we were young girls going out, he targeted us and treated us very unfair. Would recommend to anyone looking to do shopping at chinook as its just down the street. parking was no problem, and rooms were neat and tidy!

Stayed here the night of our company Christmas party. The room was comfortable and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast even included some protein in the form of boiled eggs! Definitely good value for the relatively inexpensive price. I will stay here again.

We've stayed in this hotel before and likely will again when we travel with our children (5 & 7). It is in a good location on a main thoroughfare with a number of restaurants nearby. It is old, but clean and comfy and reasonably priced. The continental breakfast is standard, but the breakfast room is quite pleasant with a large TV. This hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We had a good swim in their warm pool and the soaked in the hot tub. The beds were average for most hotels. But the room was very clean and comfy. The breakfast was nothing special but good enough to get the day started.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a bit noisy in the morning because of people in the hallways. We forgot our toohbrushes and had to purchase them from the vending machine. They were worse than a dollar store brush and much more money... I would consider staying there again if he price was right.

Great value for the cost, clean and comfortable room. Nice continental breakfast. Did not make use of the pool or gym on this trip but would stay again. Good distance from South Health Campus, was in Calgary for a course at the SHC, decent restaurants in the area after a long day. Go for a pint across the street at Limericks.

The hotel was very nice and clean, we had our small dog with us so we were in the older motel section. The carpet wasn't clean and the beds were old but OK. The room had a stove, fridge, microwave and sink in it which is good for anyone staying for a few days. Nice breakfastt room over the pool area with the usual breakfast items. The hotel was very easy to find. The beds were really nice & compfy. The breakfast was nice to have even though it was nothing special. I love having a fridge & microwave in the room. The only thing not so good was that the carpet needed a good cleaning however I have seen way worse carpets. when we arrived the comforters had hair on them. When we told the front desk the evening manager immediately replaced the bedding. was quite happy with other parts of our stay enjoyed the pools and complimentary breakfast.

Room was very small, very strong deodourizer smell (unpleasant). Most importantly, mould in the bathroom. The bathroom was also very small.The breakfast room was very nice and the food was good. Pool and hot tub were also nice. The room was expensive in regards to the above. We could have stayed in a higher rated hotel for the same price.
