Καλό ξενοδοχείο, αν και για 4 αστέρων περίμενα λίγο καλύτερη εξυπηρέτηση από το προσωπικό και κυρίως από τη ρεσεψιον. Γενικά καλά, σε πολύ βολική τοποθεσία διότι είχε κοντά πολλά εστιατόρια, σταθμό μετρό και το κεντρικό σταθμό του τρένου που πηγαίνει και στο αεροδρόμιο. Ωράιο δωμάτιο και άνετο και πολύ ωραίο πρωϊνό. Το μόνο αρνητικό του ότι δεν είχε wifi στο δωμάτιο (δεν έπιανε) και οι υπάλληλοι στη ρεσεψιον μπορούσαν να είναι πιο εξυπηρετικοί.

καθαρό και ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο. Κοντά σε στάση τραμ. Σε 20 λεπτά είσαι στο κέντρο με τα πόδια Το βράδυ η περιοχή έχει μικρά μπαράκια όπου κινούνται κυρίως φοιτητές. Το πρωϊνό πολύ ικανοποιητικό για ΒΒ δωμάτιο.Εξυπηρετικός κ με πολύ καλή γνώση αγγλικων ο ιδιοκτήτης Francesco. Αρνητικό το γεγονός ότι ακούγεται έντονα η μουσική από το μπαράκι που βρίσκεται στο ισόγειο(πάρτε μαζί ωτασπίδες) κ το ότι το δωμάτιο ήταν στο ισόγειο του αίθριου.

Τοποθεσία.
Τοποθετημένο στην καρδιά της πόλης: Ρώμη, το Donatello είναι κοντά σε σημεία ενδιαφέροντος όπως: Porta Maggiore, Κολοσσαίο και ρωμΑϊκό φόρουμ. Σε κοντινή απόσταση υπάρχουν επίσης σημεία ενδιαφέροντος όπως: Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore και Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.
Χαρακτηριστικά ξενοδοχείου.
Προσφέρεται δωρεάν πρωινό. Εκτός από ρεσεψιόν και πολύγλωσσο προσωπικό, το Donatello διαθέτει βοήθεια για προγραμματισμό ξεναγήσεων/αγορά εισιτηρίων. Προσφέρεται ασύρματη πρόσβαση στο ίντερνετ σε κοινόχρηστους χώρους (ισχύουν επιπλέον χρεώσεις). Το προσωπικό μπορεί να φροντίσει σχετικά με ενοικίαση λιμουζίνας ή αυτοκινήτου και ανταλλαγή συναλλάγματος. Οι επιπλέον ευκολίες σε αυτό το Beaux Arts ξενοδοχείο περιλαμβάνουν υπηρεσία δωματίων (κατά τη διάρκεια συγκεκριμένων ωρών μόνο), υπηρεσίες στεγνοκαθαριστηρίου/πλυντηρίων και χρηματοκιβώτιο στη ρεσεψιόν. Τα δωμάτια έχουν θέα σε πόλη, κήπο ή αυλή. Τα 40 κλιματιζόμενα δωμάτια στο Donatello περιλαμβάνουν μίνι μπαρ και χρηματοκιβώτια. Με επιπλέον χρέωση, οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να χρησιμοποιήσουν τη γρήγορη ασύρματη πρόσβαση στο ίντερνετ που παρέχεται μέσα στα δωμάτια. Οι τηλεοράσεις είναι εξοπλισμένες με ψηφιακά κανάλια . Τα μπάνια διαθέτουν μπιντέδες, πιστολάκια για τα μαλλιά και δωρεάν καλλυντικά.
Επιπλέον, προσφέρεται υπηρεσία οροφοκομίας καθημερινά και οι ευκολίες που διατίθενται κατόπιν αίτηματος περιλαμβάνουν υπηρεσία τηλεφωνικής αφύπνισης. Η ανακαίνιση όλων των δωματίων ολοκληρώθηκε τον Ιούλιο 2010.

The moment we walked in the hotel with our heavy luggages, the man in front just stared at us and didn't even greet or helped us with our bags. Then we proceeded to the counter and the receptionist did not even acknowledge our presence so then we had to wait uncomfortably for about 30 seconds until we got helped. No smile, No nothing. The nearest Metro […] Station is about a 10 min walk, and the Wifi is NOT free. I did like their balcony and the strong AC though. "Donatello- a gorgeous hotel, terrible location"
We are not fussy travellers, however, we would not recommend Hotel Donetello due to location. Yes, it is close to the Tremini tracks...but not the station. We had to walk 20 minutes, with luggage, through a not so nice area, to arrive at the hotel. That being said, the hotel was gorgeous, spacious and clean. Also, the staff was helpful. We stayed at […] 4 other hotels during this trip, and this breakfast was lacking in quantity of food and variety of food. It was at least a 20 minute walk to the heart of Rome. "Donatello - Beautiful hotel - Great Price"
The hotel itself was everything I could have asked for and more for the price. Our room was lovely, very clean. The breakfast area was gorgeous and served a traditional Italian breakfast of coffee, breads and pastries. The only down side as is posted in other reviews is the location. The near train station area of Rome is, to say the least, not it's […] nicest neighborhood. Though if you come in on the train and you would like to avoid a walk through a somewhat shady area you could just take the subway two stops to Manzoni. This walk seemed much nicer than the walk from the Terminal. On the other hand the location is an excellent base location for sightseers, just ask the hotel staff for a great walking tour path. "Decent enough hotel with friendly staff"
As a last-minute, cheap place to stay the hotel good. Walking distance from the main train station in Rome. The room had fully opening windows, the bathrooms were pretty old and the towels were a bit strange - like tablecloth. Minibar consisted of 2 bottles that had been refilled. The three of us checked in and began to enjoy the hospitality of the staff, especially Carlo and Patricia. The morning continental breakfast (included in the room price) always included fresh croissants, large rolls, fresh coffee, and juice. "Hotel Donatello in Rom - very loud neighbourhood"
The hotel is in the neigbourhood of the main train station Termini. Since we arrived at night (around 09:00 p.m.) at the train station, we took a taxi to the hotel, but the driver wanted € 20.- for a 5 min. trip........so you better check before sitting in the taxi. Then we received a room on the 1st floor on the main street "via di porta Maggiore", […] the room was clean but we could hear all night the train and noises from the street, you better take earplugs with you. Then we did not have terry towels, only linens which are used as towels and the breakfast is very moderate. However the hotel is in convenient walking distance to the metro station and therefore it is very easy to reach all sights from there. "Hotell Donatello i Rom-längst bort från allt"
Hotellets läge var bedrövligt, rena slumområdet. Vi var tvungna att köpa öronproppar för att kunna sova, pga spårvagnstrafik rätt utanför, Sängarna var stenhårda. Det som var bra var att det var rent och snyggt. Rummet var mysigt och personalen var i huvudsak trevlig. Det fanns även en safetybox på rummet. Kort sagt, man får vad man betalar för.

"Fint hotel, i ærgelige omgivelser"
Er rigtig pænt hotel, indeni. Charmerende og indbydende. Lækker, dog lidt sparsom morgenmad. Men beliggenheden minder om Enghave Plads/sydhavnen, med faldefærdige 70´er betonklodser over det hele, og en sporvogns runddel lige udenfor. På den anden side, er alting i gå-afstand, og hotellet ligger kun 10-15 min 's gang fra "hovedbanegården"

Room was comfortable and nice, hotel was also kept clean and breakfast was at a very nice inner yard. Staff was very friendly and humorous. Only minus would be a little noise caused by traffic at the road. Everything worked very nicely and air conditioning at summer was also perfect.

La qualità dell'hotel non è assolutamente proporzionale al costo (150 euro/notte per una singola, con supplemento di altri 30 euro/notte per uso doppia), più che per la struttura in sè (particamente senza zona lobby alla reception) per il personale e la posizione (20-25 minuti dalla stazione termini di buon passo; quartiere di sera un po' inquietante). […] Ma, come dicevo, il pezzo forte è il personale: ci hanno bussato più volte in camera, durante il soggiorno, per "ricordarci" del supplemento; non mi hanno fatto fare check-out la sera prima - dovevo partire presto e non avevo molto tempo a disposizione -, e la mattina mi hanno fatto mille problemi per avere una ricevuta; ho assistito ad un colloquio con un turista straniero che chiedeva una prenotazione nottura per un taxi e l'addetto alla reception ha risposto che era impossibile. "Hôtel coquet plein de charm"
Hôtel très bien situé, à proximité de restaurants Italiens "non touristiques", proche du métro, proche d'un supermarché. Petit déjeûner copieux servi dans un endroit agréable, chambres propres et tout confort. A recommander pour un séjour en famille inoubliable à Rome.
