"Decent for price"
Onviously not like Hampton or Holiday Inns, but efficiently served its purpose, a place to crash for a few hours. Wasn't afraid to sleep on bed
"Location Nightmare"
Location..location..location..what a nightmare. My Garmin kept sending me to a subdivision. Once I pulled over and got different directions, I arrived at the hotel, which was hidden in the middle of this subdivision. The clerk, though friendly, admitted this was a common problem. We got there at 11 pm. They had to program our key 3 times before they gave us another room. Our cable tv and internet didn't work. We had to get the convertor to plug in our PS3 to the tv so we could watch something. Management couldn't help with the internet, but she did get the cable working the next afternoon. "Not the best experience"
We were staying because my son's baseball team stayed there. We all ended up going to another hotel after one night because of various problems with the rooms. Our sheets smelled like cigarette smoke (in a non-smoking room) but I was able to go to the office and get a clean set and put them on myself. I stayed only one night, maybe it would have been better if I were staying longer. My biggest dissppointment was that the internet did not work even after I had called the tech service people three times. I have stayed here several times and love it. It is a great hotel with several places to eat close by. It is also near Wesley Medical Center
Hotel located close to everything!! Don't use directions given...call for better directions. Hotel was very quite, I was able to walk a couple of laps around the hotel Saturday evening. I would stay again.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. My fiance and I had a little bit of trouble when checking in because the hotel had no fax paper in their fax machine so we had to wait about an hour before we got to get into our room. Internet never worked. Upstairs occupancy kids ran relays all day and half the night.

We tried to check in early and they wouldn't let us. The beds were extremely hard. We did like the fact of there being a full size refrigerator. We were only five minutes from our destination. They let us choose a bottom floor.

The only thing that I found wrong was the sheets smelled really bad.
"not so good value"
We stayed only one night attending the triathlon nearby. Next morning we noticed that antenna on our car was broken. I am not sure why would somebody do that, but if you have a luxury car you probably don't want to stay there. Hotel itself is a good value, if you do not have to buy a new antenna.

"Decent for Price"
The only major con would be this hotel is extremely difficult to find. Call before you waste time searching, because map services and GPS will send you the wrong direction entirely. Fixtures and furniture are dated but everything works great! Far enough from highway and very quiet. Would recommend to anyone!

Hotel is great for the price. If you don't mind hearing every footstep above you or every noise from the next room, this is the place to stay. The bed was not comfortable, and sounded like it was about to fall in every time you moved. The good side is the price and everything they have in the room. "A good stay for us"
The hotel was far enough back off of Hwy 98 that most of the traffic sounds were not heard, nearly anything you could want or need in Hattiesburg is right there on 98 also. The only complaints i have is that their correct address is not on the Tom Tom system, the walls above the bath tub need to be cleaned and the ac/heater unit had a broken front panel; […] other than that, it was a good stay for me and my family and we would stay again. "By the week"
This motel seems to do more by the week rentals than nightly ones. Neighboring rooms were very loud and the room was a "lived in" condition as opposed to clean. The sheets and bathroom were clean and fresh however.

Beds need to be replaced. We didn't even stay at this hotel b/c the bed was so uncomfortable. Weird smell, no amenities like hair dryer or iron/ironing board. The front desk clerk was friendly.

"Pleasantly Surprised"
I was a little weary booking this hotel. You never really know what you are going to get. It is an extended stay, so it makes since that the outside of the hotel looks like an apartment building. The full kitchen and little table provide the comforts of home. It was ideal for my 2 year old who was staying with myself, my mother, and my aunt. The staff […] was wonderful. They had free wireless internet, which was a treat. Very lenient on check-in/out times. My one complaint is that the air conditioner leaked on the inside as well as outside. The carpet near the machine was damp and the mildew smell hit you like a ton of bricks when you walk into the room. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with the fact that the carpet was so dirty, but you should have seen the bottom of my toddler's feet after only a few minutes of running around barefoot. "Great Room for the Money"
My stay at Sun Suites was more than I expected. My room was nice and cool when I arrived, unlike the more expensive hotels... where you have to crank up the ac when you get there. The mini kitchen was also a plus. The only thing I would change is the 11 o'clock check out to 12 noon, but I would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend.

"Very Nice"
The hotel was a lot nicer than I was expecting. I loved the mini kitchen, however the fridge was kind of noisy at night. It was a very cozy room at a good price.

"Dirty, smelly, and uncomfortable"
The hotel was barely adequate. It smelled like the beach, was not very clean, and the bed was slanted backwards (so that your head was lower than your feet). We slept backwards on the bed. When we checked in, there was a pair of dirty panties on the bathroom floor. No kidding.

Room had an odor. Towels were old and thin. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Quiet location for the middle of industrial/commercial area. Plenty of parking, well-lighted.
