In for 6 days and impressed from the first moment. The room was good but nothing special but what made the stay was the quality of the service. From the concierge to the desk staff and in particular the hotel bar and restuarant. We had meals at the hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed the sophisticated ambiance and the quality of the food. 1. Check in: very quick and efficient. Location: great location, a few minutes walk to the south end of Las Ramblas, which connects to Plaza Catalunya,Passa de Gracia and all must see areas. Lots of restaurants and Tapas bars along Las Ramblas.. The staff: absolutely fantasic, very friendly and helpful. I happened to attend a Barca football game whilst […] I was there and the gentleman at the door arranged a lift for me with the other hotel guests who were going to the stadium. The room: big, clean room, comfortable bed, a few english tv channels and top notch high speed wi-fi, which is free no matter how many devices you have. The bathroom is amazing! By far the most impressive bathroom I've seen in all 5* hotels I've stayed in... You want to stay in that shower all day. Now the downside of the hotel that marred my stay there is whilst the hotel is nice for a quiet night away from the hustle and bustle of the city it has extremely thin walls, you can hear people in the next room as if they are in the same room with you. Unfortunately I had two rowdy and loud gentlemen who kept me up until 4am (no joke) 3 nights in a row! On the 3rd night I had enough and called reception @ 3h30... they promptly came up, knocked and asked the rowdy couple to keep it down.. As a result I didn't have comfortable and peaceful sleep during my stay here but I feel like this is not the fault of the hotel per se. The hotel was very modern and clean, however the wifi did not work and the air conditioning was not working so the room was very hot. Location was nice and the hop on hop off bus was right outside.

Everything at the hotel was great with one exception. The front desk staff couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful to an English speaking person. They worked hard to make sure my wife and I had a great mini-vacation stay. The Cava was terrific as were the chocolate covered strawberries served in a martini glass. They were unlike any I had before. […] The only detractor was the internet service was terrible in my room and wasn't resolved during my two day stay (but it was a weekend in Spain and I shouldn't have been trying to work anyway!). The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Las Ramblas and with panoramic views of Barcelona from the eighth floor. The staff are very professional, but also friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Ideal location before or on returning from a cruise.

Eurostars Grand Marina is co-located with the Barcelona World Trade Center (so you can tell your cab driver to take you to the World Trade Center if they are unfamiliar with the hotel). It's an approximately 20 minute cab ride from the airport and 10 minutes by cab to the Cruise Terminals. For those interested in sightseeing, the hotel is about 15 minutes […] walking distance to the Christopher Columbus statue at the southern end of Las Ramblas and even closer to the CitySightseeing and Turistico bus stops. The hotel room itself was comfortably sized and had in-room A/C. The shower did not have hot water the first night we stayed, but it was Christmas Eve and the hotel was nearly empty. The hotel was hosting a large conference the second night, so there were no hot water problems that night. The room surprised me. You get used to tiny boxes in Europe. This was very roomy and very new and upscale. It was a very classy place. The fitness room was well equipped, also surprising. It did require about an 6 minute walk to the get to the nearest metro stop, but all in all I was very impressed

Highly regarded; I'll return. BUT the connecting door allowed far, far, far too much noise from the adjoining room . I can't verify if the second door was closed, however.

Good gym (by hotel standards), very positive energy level and light throughout the hotel. Bar was good and jazz music (Sat night) very enjoyable. Ramblas, Barceloneta easy walking (10 mins). Hotel staff accomodated my view request and really tried to help.

The hotel was really nice, the staff were always friendly and happy to help regarding any queries. We asked for a sea view which we received, in addition to this the room was really spacious and comfortable, although it did get a little warm at times. The gym facilities etc were also very good. Lovely hotel in a great location for a four day stay in Barcelona. Experienced and helpful staff, big clean rooms and a great bathroom (deluxe room on the 7th floor) Ok pool is on the small side but overall an excellent stay at the Grand Marina. I will definately visit this hotel again.

We had also stayed in the nearby Hotel Arts, which claims to be a 5 Star hotel and is not. The Grand Marina was far superior all around.

Used to budget hotels but this was something else. Really friendly and helpful staff. Did not use dining areas or bar however as it was beyond our budget for food. excellent rooms and accessories with probably the easiest tv to work in ages.

Superb hotel. Well worth the money.Rooms were of very high standard.Staff very helpful. Location spot on; even by the tourist buses.The breakfast is the best we have ever had with the exception of Dubai.Very classy place.If you can afford it stay here there are no other choices !!!

Great location,on the marina. Within walking distance to the beach and LA Rambla. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Some areas could do with refurbishing. Dining area excellent. On the negative side: breakfast very expensive. Little choice if you wanted an allergy free breakfast. Noise at night of moored cruise ships.

The front desk never answered the 2 times that I called for a wake up call. The telephones in the rooms were cumbersome to use. Otherwise, a perfect place and service. Will definitely return to Eurostars on my next Barcelona trip.

Hotel is in the marina/harbour area (where the cruise ships dock) so there is a good 15min walk to the start of most areas, but you can view this both ways ie it's quiet on one hand but you can't just stumble out to main attractions on the other. Very good base to explore the City. Open top tour buses start from out side the hotel (get on them from […] the Hotel as they are not as busy) good means of getting around the city as well as seeing all the attractions. Premier room was lovely but made even better with a City view. Restaurant/bar very formal may be too formal. Gym is good but pool small, just a plunge pool. Eurostars Grand Marina is a lovely hotel and the staff were friendly. However, the staff were not very helpful. They were limited in their ability to provide recommendations and reservations. The food in the restaurant was just good and overpriced. The carpets in the hallways were stained.

This hotel is lovely. Enormous room by even North American standards. Fantastic service throughout our stay. Room service was wonderful. Stay here if you're in Barcelona. 5 star hotel at 4 star prices.

We booked to stay at the Eurostars Grand Marina for 4 nights. The room we were allocated to start with was looking rather shabby e.g. torn upholstery on chairs, leaky shower, dirty windows. We asked for a sea view but this was mostly obscured by enormous cruise liners berthed right outside our window! However, as we did not consider this to be 5 star […] luxury we complained at Reception & the duty manager, Jacinto Gamon, was very sympathic & helpful. As soon as possible he arranged to move us to a suite which was lovely & fully met our expectations of this hotel. We could not fault his attitude or his charming manner,especially when he sent us up to our room not 1, but 2 bottles of Cava & some chocolates! The position of the hotel was excellent - easy walking distance to many of the sights, plus theSightseeing buses stopped almost outside the hotel. Wonderful hotel and a great location, shame that the staff and management let it down so much! Every interaction that we had with the lovely staff was a failure. It took them 1.5 hours to bring our bags up from reception on arrival. It then took 3 phone calls over 4 hours to get the correct pillows. Room service food was lovely, the first time they […] forgot the wine and then took 45 minutes to bring it up to the room. We requested turn down service for 8pm, when we returned to the hotel room at 9.45pm we found the maid entering the room to turn down the room! Room was not ready to 2 pm we had just came off cruise and got to hotel early so we didn't expect it to be ready but requested a sea view and a none smoking room , thought as we were in no panic to get the room till the afternoon this was achievable , 2.30 pm we got our room and it was 3 rd floor smelly non sea facing room and quite dirty , after complaining […] they moved us to what we had asked for in the first instance , i felt as we had booked online and not direct they were trying to give us one of there lesser rooms , facilities location etc all good but in general this is not a 5 star hotel and prob a good 3/4 star Διαβάστε περισσότερα

The hotel appearance was very nice. The people at the reception and information desks were very helpful. However, the room did not have any washcloths when we first arrived and we weren't provided with any when the room was cleaned. We chose this hotel because we were driving from Valencia and wanted easy access from the motorway. This was easily achieved and parked the car in the underground park of the hotel for the 3 days we were there. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The room had a balconey, was well appointed with nice furnishings.
