Well this place is an overall disaster. To start off, I was arriving to Lancaster earlier than expected so I called ahead and asked if I could check in earlier then their 3 PM check in time. I was told there are no rooms available and was hung up on. Great start. So I arrive to this dump to check in and have to stand at the counter for 5 minutes because […] the desk clerk is on a personal cell phone chatting in god knows what language. Finally he checks me in, so I arrive to my room to the smell of, I would like to say rotten broccoli. Then there is a stain on the comforter of what looked to be pizza cheese and sauce. overall it was nice; however the location of the hotel is along the main road which is both good and bad. It is very close to the amusement park and other shopping areas but it is a little bit noisy due to the traffic on the main road.

We only stayed one night. Went to see Noah at Sight and Sound Theater. Very good location for this. Disappointed we were told the pool wouldn't be open until later. Would have liked to swim. It was very hot out.

The place was dirty and filled with hair (bathtub, bathroom sink, desk, coffee maker... everywhere). I went to the front desk and reported it and they said they will send someone immediately to clean it... but that never happened. I had to buy Lysol wipes to clean it myself. The bed was very hard too. My sister stayed in the same hotel and her room […] was better and cleaner, but the bed was uncomfortable too. If you stay here, try not to stay in the first floor. Although the shower was a roll in, nothing else was accessible in the room. The sheets were stained and had to be changed upon arrival. There was still trash in the trash can when we got there. Will never stay again!!

We could not use the pool because it was not clean upon our afternoon arrival, and was not cleaned until the following morning, after check-out time.

THe beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.Stayed overnight and didn't need to spend much time in the room so although the room was small, it was fine for our needs. I would most likely consider staying there again.

I went with friends to this special weekend but unfortunatly not everything was as I expected. we booked four bedroom. Two of the rooms were not so clean but it was ok. But the other two were really in bad condition. The bathtube was not able to be used in both rooms becauseeach time we used the sink the water flushed back in the bathtube with a dark […] smelling water. Red Roof was clean and friendly service. The bed linens did not stay on the bed. A fitted sheet that did not fit right, kept slipping off corners. Towels could have been a little thicker, very thin. Breakfast was not one of the best, I have had a lot more variety at other hotels. All in all the hotel was nice for the price.

Motel appearance was nice and clean! the breakfast was nice and abundance of food, waffles, fruit, muffins, and breakfast gravy. The motel hallway was noisy and you hear everyone closing their doors. the tv next door was on all night and we could hear it through our wall! Towels were like sand paper and very rough. We spent two nights at Red Roof Inn. Our stay was good but they need to update the linens - towels, washcloths - they weren't very thick or absorbent. The contentinal breakfast need a little more selections. Given the brand name, we expected more from this hotel. The sheets were dingy giving the appearance of being unclean, but there was no smell. The towels were rough on the skin (we do not have sensitive skin)! The customer service definitely needs improvement. Upon check-in, the door was open. I called to the front desk to report this and the front desk […] said he would call back but never did. The housekeeper did show up, but did not speak English and it was difficult to communicate with her as to why the door was open. The next morning at breakfast (9:00am) the waffle station was a mess, the garbage was overflowing, there was no milk and when we asked the front desk for help, we got the feeling we were interrupting the front desk person from his private conversation on his cell phone. - WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN! Overall it was not a bad place to stay for just one night. The room was clean and the staff was pleasant. The only problem we had was that the cable was not working. There were only about 5 channels that were working and when I called to inform the front desk they said there wasn't really anything they could do about it. The bathroom could have been cleaner. More than half the tv channels didn't work or have sound. The breakfast is coffee and a mini muffin... So plan on going out. I had a good night's sleep and was close to where I needed to be. Just don't go in with high expectations.

We were quite disappointed in our trip this time at the Red Roof Inn of Lancaster. We always book rooms with king beds just because that is what we are use to and comfortable with. Much to our surprise when we arrive, we are told they had to switch our room ( because of plumbing problems)to a double bed room with only full size beds, not queen but full […] size. We stayed on night. It was clean and comfortable. There is a very nice area for breakfast. The breakfast was good.

A very friendly, helpful staff could not offset the poor quality of the bed. It was advertised as a King, which it was not. The bed was also past it's usefulness with two large canyons that were difficult to escape. The HVAC unit was very noisy and also probably quite old. Unfortunately, we will not be staying at this hotel in the future.

Convenient location in the center of town. It is basically a clean motel except the towels were dingy and very scratchy.

Room very clean and comfortable. Hearty continental breakfast. Only issue was elevator. You have to go outside to get on elevator. Need better signage to designate Lobby location. Will stay again.

Of the many hotels in Lancaster, Red Roof inn was the best so far. The check-in was quick & even got in earlier than the 3pm check in time. The room was clean and even smelled clean. My only complaint was the fan on the AC/Heater unit was very loud. Had to turn it off so I could get some sleep.

We are using the hotel mostly just for one night. It is clean and pleasant! Stayed there several times - and will do so again in the future. Can highly recommend it for parents who are in Lancaster to visit their students! For the price just perfect.

Man at the desk, probably the manager, was pleasant and helpful. Approach was laid back. Very accommodating. Hotel was inexpensive, given that there was a convention going on across the street, and demand was pretty high. This isn't the Ritz Carlton, but it is nonetheless a highly satisfactory hotel.
