Best Western Atlantis Hotel - Μελβούρνη

5 minute walk from Airport Skybus, also 1st stop of the airport hotel shuttle service. walking distance to trams and free city shuttle. Room had no window view to outside- this wasnt mentioned in booking though. Room was clean and staff was good.

My only thing is, I wish I could open the windows.Air con is no substitute for fresh air

Clean, comfortable and convenient. Only 2 issues which bothered us - 1. Was advertised as having cable TV, but doesn't. 2. The window in the room couldn't be opened which occasionally felt a bit stuffy. Otherwise we were very happy with the hotel.

We only needed a night stay because of early morning flight however we were so pleased with the hotels location, tariff and service that we will use it again when visiting Melbourne for any reason eg football matches or shopping.

We stayed at the Atlantis hotel for two nights in November 2011. The hotel and room were excellent - very clean and comfortable. Very quiet, close to Southern Cross, overall very happy

Nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Perfectly located on same street as bus terminal with links every 10 mins to Melbourne airport. Tourist (free) circle line at top of road and excellently positioned for stroll through the city. nice hotel and good value for money.

Nice hotel in a fairly central hotel. The staff was very helpful and understanding, although we did not bother them too much. But an extension for 2 hours on checkout time was accepted promptly. Nice and clean rooms, but quite expensive Internett fees!!

Good location to all amenities, but the room was dusty, and they don't change bed sheet.

Overall I was pretty satisfied with the hotel and the service of the staff. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Location is good if you are traveling, literally a 5min walk from Southern Cross Station (where the sky bus arrives / departs for Melbourne airport) but there's not a great selection of restaurants in the area.

Overall our stay was very good. Two issues- we arrived at the hotel at 11:45 and were told that our room would be available 'soon'. we did not get the room until 1:15. The quality of the breakfast was uninspiring. Some fruit other than apples and some cold meat/cheese would have helped.

Good convenient location to Southern Cross station and tram. Adequate accommodation. Inconvenient lack of towel rails in bathroom. Obviously no environmental concerns for further use of towel after a shower or wash.

Close to trams, near to exibition & convention centre, coles across the road, The Staff were friendly and helpful.

a verry good location for rail @flights.hotel was comforible and suted my requirments.

We were impressed with the overall motel . We have stayed at many Melbourne hotels and found this very good value for money .

The room is big, bath room is ok, equipment is a little bit old. Everything in order. But I found one cockroach.

Nice hotel with a great location near Southern Cross station and the free City Circle tram route. The only fly in the ointment was that only one lift worked during our 4 day stay - The other lift has been out of action for weeks! Wi-Fi was available, but it wasn't free. Reception was very helpful at all times.

Stayed for 2 nights at the best western. The hotel and room was newly renovated. The room was clean and nice. The bed was very comfortable. Service was not great. On the second day, housekeeping came when we were still in the room so we declined. We told the reception when we left the hotel that we wanted housekeeping. Room was fine, location was good. If they had of cleaned the outside of the windows it would have rated much higher.

The hotel is some distance to the CBD but has good access to trams and trains. The rooms are large but bare (not even a picture on the walls). TV is limited to only local free to air without cable. Housekeeping was sloppy and bed was just pulled up and not remade.

Good location hotel with swimming pool, very quiet BUT if you are in Melbourne for business or you need an internet connexion, go away!!! Internet services are very expensive and you have a limited download account so even if you purchase the 3 day package, you have only 300 MB....

An excellent hotel, close to public airport transfers, shopping and sporting facilities. I always choose the Atlantis when I am required to stay in Melbourne. It is comfortable, clean, convenient and has great recreational facilities.

Great location, lovely staff and very clean rooms. What more could we ask for? Well, it was disappointing that one lift was out of order and the one that was working kept stopping. Slightly frustrating when your room is on level 16 and we had to wait 6 minutes for the lift. Breakfast was delicious although the fact that there was no bacon to have with […] the lovely eggs was also a let down. BUT overall a terrific hotel and we'll definately stay again. The room was very Spartan - only a kettle to make coffee/tea and a fridge. There were no pictures on the walls, no drawers for storage place of clothes and cheap uncomfortable seating provided. We felt we were in a halfway house! Request for a wakeup call to ensure we would catch our flight was not filled and we could have missed the plane! After the first night I had asked for an instruction leaflet for the A/C. Someone had removed it from the desk in the room. Over the course of the next 10 days, that was never delivered. The other area that would require improvement is the daily cleaning service. Some days I would come into the room at night and the toilet seat would be up and obviously […] not cleaned as if the room service was interrupted right in the middle. The hotel was in a great location, close to trams and train and across the road from old DFO, breakfast was great, the staff were really nice, and the hotel was modern. It could have been slightly cleaner in the room. This was one of the nicest hotels. Would stay there again.

Very poor service at Best Western Atlantis in Melbourne. I would never ever recommend staying in this hotel or any other Best Western Hotel in the future. Even after contacting there Customer Service Department it was even worse than the Hotel itself.

Overall we were ambivalent to our stay at the Best Western Atlantis. While we were happy to have clean beds and a shower while we searched for an apartment, the hotel offered little more. Even the above requirements were only mostly met; the room had multiple lights burnt out, the shower's temperature fluctuated wildly, and for the duration of our […] stay (3 days), only one lift was in operation. By far our biggest complaint was the hotel's internet, or rather lack-there-of. We shelled out the $25 for 3 days of Wifi, only to find that the connection was unreliable at best, if not completely unusable. Twice we had the hotel staff refund our purchase due to the connection not working whatsoever. If you're considering this hotel, perhaps spend a bit more time searching online. Room was great, bed was comfortable, all very clean :) The hotel was so central to every where we had to go, with coles right across the road. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. No traffic noise. Highly recommended!!! Many thanks for an enjoyable stay :)

Best Western Atlantis is a very pleasant hotel to stay in -- well positioned for the city centre, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, and also the train station and the Skybus to the airport. convenient location， quiet place，easy to catch public transport

I arrived in Melbourne on the 26th June after a long flight. The reception staff did not greet, instead I had to greet them, no welcome to Melbourne, Australia... nothing. When I got to my room, it did not have a safe as requested, when I called, I got another room on th 12th floor. Only one of the two lifts were working, so the average time to get […] to the room was 5-8 minutes. My room was so dusty, a thick layer of dust was on my pedistal, headboard and study desk. I reported this on the evening. In addition to this, there was a tea stain in the area where the cofee machine was. My bathroom tap was so loose that I have to hold it with one hand all the time. I lodged a complaint the same night. On the 29th June I complained to the Duty Manager.... still nothing happened the next day. It took five (one every night) of consecutive calls to get housekeeping to clean the dirt. After leaving the hotel after 10 nights, the bathroom tap was still not tightened. The second lift was still out of order.The breakfast was very basic for 11 AUS Dollars. It was humiliating to have complained so many times, and I got the distinct impression that they just did not care. I would rate this hotel no more than two stars. I have recorded all the incidents and would like Best Western to revert to me on why I had to beg to get a service that I paid for. Hotels.com... what recourse do I have for this? Close to the airport bus and the tourist tram. Very helpful staff.

This hotel is fine for a budget stay in lovely Melbourne. However - it is quite a long walk to the city 'centre' and while it is great for access to Southern Cross station (where the Skybus from airport stops) it's a bit of a pain walking into town - so investment in tram tickets an idea. otherwise great hotel for the price.
