Hotel ZaZa is located in the Uptown neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. The hotel stands 1 mile from West Village shops and less than 2 miles from the Dallas Convention Center. The arts and entertainment district is located 1 mile from the hotel.
Hotel Features.
The lobby's whimsical furnishings and artworks are indicative of the entire hotel's eclectic design. Dragonfly Restaurant features a 237-bottle wine collection and global cuisine prepared in the kitchen of Chef Dan Landsberg. A seasonal outdoor pool features a Roman-style spa tub and the Urban Oasis bar's signature drinks. During winter months, the pool is covered by a lit Plexiglas floor that creates the illusion of walking on water. DJs provide entertainment on select evenings. A business center offers fax, photocopy, and print services. Function space accommodates up to 300 people. ZaSpa offers herbal body wraps, facials, massages, hair and nail treatments, and sunless tanning. Spa products include the Billy Jealousy and Spa Ritual lines. The nail salon features zero-gravity chairs. Saunas, a steam room and a hydrotherapy tub provide therapeutic benefits. A 24-hour, complimentary fitness room contains cardiovascular and weight-training equipment.
Guestrooms.
The four-story Hotel ZaZa offers 152 guestrooms with cityscape or pool views. Beds are draped beneath Italian Frette linens and topped with down pillows and comforters. All rooms provide complimentary high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, CD and DVD players, and flat-screen televisions equipped with satellite channels. Butler pantries are located on each floor. Standard rooms feature dark-wood furnishings and bathrooms with chocolate-brown marble vanities. Fanciful Concept Suites are decorated according to themes, such as the Out of Africa and the Moulin Rouge suites.

The hotel was full when we arrived late at night, but the staff was very helpful and gave us a nice doublebed room. Breakfast was a nice suprise included in price, plus free parking. A very good deal !

Dragonfly - Dragonfly and its adjoining lounge feature an eclectic menu. Breakfast includes Sweet Potato Flapjacks, ZaZa Benedict, omelets, espresso, and protein shakes. Lunch includes spicy satays, Mediterranean Empanadas with Duck Confit, and Tea-Smoked Chicken Salad.
In the evenings, candlelight adds warmth to the leather banquet seating, shimmering wall fabrics, wood-and-stone floors, and the lounge's long bar topped with colorful mosaic tiles. Signature drinks include a Honey Martini, Shanghai Cosmo, and Strawberry and Basil Margarita. Dinner offers a selection of Moroccan tagines, Salmon and Tuna Tartare Martinis, Sushi, Ginger Beef, and the Whole Roasted Mediterranean Fish. There is also a children's menu. Dragonfly's wine room seats 4. The restaurant features Chef Dan Landsberg.
In addition to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, the restaurant provides 24-hour room service.
Urban Oasis - This poolside bar and restaurant offers lunchtime bento boxes, kebabs, the ZaZa Burger, the ZaZa Club Sandwich, and a variety of beverages throughout the afternoon and evening.
The hotel has a full-service fitness center and the Za Spa, which offers weight training, steam baths, massage, and yoga.
The Dallas area has several public golf courses, including Cedar Crest Golf Course (5.5 miles) and Northwest Golf Range (13 miles). Numerous city parks offer a variety of activities.

"Great business stay"
I stayed three nights for business and really enjoyed Hotel ZaZa. Clean and modern with a strong art theme throughout. Service was great, free wifi and coffee in the morning make the hotel really stand out. The restaurant is very good but a touch expensive. Overall a great stay for the price.

"Very trendy"
This hotel lives up to it's reviews: very loud young crowd, room check in is late 4pm. Knowing that I arrived late and still had to wait. DO NOT stay here if you want to unwind, relax, getaway weekend but if you want a hip IN crowd 20 somethings , it's a must. Very well decorated but not worth the hype.

I stayed at Hotel ZaZa for a birthday weekend getaway. The room was comfy and clean. Staff were terrific. Very helpful and prompt. The pool area was great. Food at Dragon Fly was wonderful. Hotel location is great for walking to visit art galleries, restaurants, and nightlife. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very stylish hotel - aiming for boutique chic and a place to be seen rather than the Hilton/Marriott market. Large, clean rooms. Wifi is entirely free and very fast. Some restaurants and bars on nearby McKinney. Hotel bar can get somewhat loud on a Friday night.

The Zazu is a wonderful sensual and eclectic hotel located in the Oaklawn district of Dallas. Enjoyed the ambiance throughout and would recommend it to anyone.

We had an amazing stay and walked the neighborhood to eat dinner, the only negative thing I can say about the stay is that the restuarnt area that is with the hotel had music blearing into all hours of the night. "Met expectations w/ the exception of the bathroom"
I had high expectations of Hotel Za Za which were met for the most part. The hotel lobby was very welcoming. The staff sophisticated and helpful. The artwork throughout the building sufficiently eclectic and weird, even slightly creepy. But I was surprised by the condition of our bathroom. Upon entering it for the first time, I found the toilet to be […] backed up. Maintenance responded right away and corrected the situation, but left with the toilet running and I was forced to make that repair. Later in the shower, I discovered a not-very-clean shower curtain. While these were only two albeit minor situations, I was left with a slightly unclean feeling about the bathroom. The rest of the room was in excellent condition. We had the opportunity to have cocktails in the lounge on both nights of our stay. If you're looking for quiet, avoid it. Good location, great place to stay for a couple of nights out, expensive restaurant, breakfast has to be taken in the room at a surcharge if required, rooms with two beds, the beds are on the small side, overall I'd rate a 3.5/5.

"Beware valet fee & billing errors"
We had an enjoyable time our first visit to ZaZa. I invited my wife in from out of town for a valentines evening. All was great until i got my bill. Our valet charge for 1 night was $56.00, for our two vehicles. I also found two erroneous chargers on my bill for $143.00 and $4.00. When I called the hotel and asked for billing I was sent to a recording […] and directed to send and email outlining my issues. I did send the email and got a response within 24 hours. They apologized for the errors and credited my account. They offered no explanation as to what the extra charges appeared on my bill. "Front Desk"
If you are going to bother to ask why I am in town and I say "for business" why would I be put in a room next to a bachelorette party??? Otherwise, I cannot wait to stay here again...huge rooms, great amenities, very comfortable bed, and best of all...great water pressure in the bathroom!

The place to stay. Great service and beautiful, comfortable rooms. Love the coffee on each floor each morning. Only problem is that occasionally on weekends, it is a "scene" and valet parking is crazy.

But not outstanding as I expected, For the price I was expecting to be overwhelmed. Downside was because I booked through Hotels.com They did not recognize my Loyalty program Which I have status, they just didn't care. So I got a GREAT PRICE from Hotels,com but I sacrificed my status,.

We arrived at 4:00 for check in (as stated in our email) and were told our room was dirty. We got into the room by 4:45. This made getting to our evening event difficult! Concept suit (pricey) had a stained couch, ripped dust ruffle, stained wallpaper in bathroom, towels that were shredding. Went to have dinner at Dragonfly, but left our table before […] ordering because a private party was spilling into the restaurant and was extremely loud and obnoxious. "Arlington Couple"
We stayed at this hotel due to a much needed mini vacation. The driver was excellent. I have to say that my husband left a bracelet in the room that I had just given him for Valentines day. He called several times and couldn't get anyone on the phone. He was told only housekeeping could help him with that. Of course when housekeeping did contact him […] back, they didn't find it. I find that hard to believe. I have since called and the phone just rings. I will not stat at the hotel again because as a customer if I try to get assistance don't tell me housekeeping are the only oes that can help. That is poor customer service. "Great hotel."
Used it for a romantic get away. The staff was nice and the location great. A little crazy at night, but rooms are far enough away to "get away".
"BEWARE OF ROOMS OVER THE NIGHTCLUB"
I flew from Tampa, FL to Dallas, TX, to see a friend for the weekend. I booked 2 rooms, RM #359 and RM #334. I had room #359 and my friend, the other, #334. My friend has not slept well in over 2 years, which is why I booked seperate rooms, at ZaZa, a fairly upscale hotel, with nice linens and thick, "blackout" drapery. The next morning I asked her […] how she slept and she explained to me that once the booming from the club ceased, at 2:00am, she was finally able to get some rest. I explained this to the front desk personnel, Michael, upon check out. I asked him to provide her with a comp room for the next time she is in the city, due to the inconvenience of not being able to sleep. He said the best he could do was offer her a discount or a bottle of Champagne upon her next visit. He assured me that he would make it "worth it for her to return to their hotel"! I will never stay at ZaZa again, due to his lack of compassion of a guest having a terrible night's stay! Why wouldn't the front desk have warned us of the potential noise level upon check in? Why would anyone think that I, or my friend, would spend one more slepless night there? Due to the callous nature in which our complaint was handled, I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed there for a few nights after our wedding. It was very nice but I think it was more for the trendy and party goers than to stay and relax a few days. The gym is the nicest I've seen at a hotel but I feel like the staff could be a little more attentive for what you're paying per night. Overall, very nice, modern place for people to party.

We stayed here for an overnight getaway and loved it! The ambiance of the rooms, lobby and bar/restaurant is very cool. The bed was OK - could have been more comfy. The location is great - walking distance to several restaurants and bars. Ate breakfast in the restaurant (eggs benedict and waffles) and both were excellent.
