Για επαγγελματικούς λόγους παραμονής, ήταν OK. Δεν ενδείκνυται για αναψυχή - διακοπές. Το internet ήταν ενσύρματο για το δωμάτιο (με αξιοπρεπή H/Y αν δεν έχετε δικό σας) και οι ταχύτητες ήταν παραπάνω από ικανοποιητικές.

Αν και μένω στο ξενοδοχείο αυτό τουλάχιστον 5 φορές τον χρόνο, κάθε φορά παρατηρώ και μια βελτίωση στις υπηρεσίες ή τις υποδομές του. Στην τελευταία παραμονή μας εκεί μας έκανε άριστη εντύπωση η αντικατάστση όλων των συσκευών τηλεόρασης με νέες σύγχρονες. Εξαιρετικό όπως πάντα το πλούσιο πρωινό.

"Great hotel close to train and local attractions"
We upgraded our room to the 6th floor and had a fantastic view of Hadrian's arch and the ruins. The balcony and bath was worth the extra costs. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and I recommend the roof restaurant to take in the ambiance of the Parthenon and the lights of the city. Would stay here again. "Seeing Athens was made easy by choosing this hotel"
A 2-min walk to a convenient subway stop, the Acropolis museum and the charming Plaka village. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The full breakfast buffet from the rooftop was an exceptional way to start the day. And the free internet access from lobby computers was a big plus. This one's a winner.

A great hotel, however, be aware that one side boarders on a major road with lots of noisy traffic. We were very, very happy with our quiet westside room. Hotel staff was excellent. The buffet breakfast was outstanding and the view of the Parthenon was great. Controlling room temperature was not possible. "Wonderful breakfast views, small elevators"
Loved the great breakfast and the amazing views of the acropolis. Location was good with easy access to acropolis and Plaka. Good restaurants and cafes nearby. Metro stop is just a couple blocks away. Elevators are small, so I had to carry heavy bags up and down the stairs because elevators were busy.

Well, not sure if it's unknown as it's in a lot of books, but ... staff terrific, rooms nice, location fantastic, great value and really a great way to start our holiday. Athens Gate is right in the middle of all the tourist attractions -- four or five minutes from the Plaka, Acropolis museum, ruins, all kinds of things -- and a really good value besides. […] Loved having breakfast on the rootfop restaurant each morning with views of the Acropolis and the rest of Athens to greet me. Staff was extremely helpful and considerate, and was quite proactive in sharing information and tips. And the room overlooked the Temple of Zeus, so each morning and evening we saw the impressive pillars right across the street. Easy to get anywhere from. Couldn't recommend more. Even the restaurant serves a very nice European dinner (probably on the higher side of reasonably-priced but still within normal range). "Athens Gate -- Perfect Location"
Great location for historical sites of Athens, and view is great of the Acropolis from the rooftop terrace. 5 minute walk to Syntagma Square and great shopping. You can see temple of Olympian Zeus and Hadrian's Gate from the front door. Beautiful decor and very great staff.

Our stay was post cruise, and we stayed 4 days before returning home. The cons, wifi was not included in price and the bed was hard. The pros, Room was clean and the included breakfast was as good as any hotel having both hot and cold selections. This includes doorman, desk, housekeeping and resturant. We took a cab from the cruise port on arrival and also to the airport on departure. The hop on hop off bus stop is very close making it very easy to get around to all the major tourist sites. My husband and I could NOT have made a more perfect choice! This gem of a hotel is close to everything we wanted to see in Athens. The view of the Acropolis from the Rooftop Restaurant is breathtaking- a great photo opportunity. The breakfast (included) was nice. "Athens Gate Hotel"
This hotel is perfect: for location, sevices, etc., except it is on a high traffic street (6 lanes). My wife is a light sleeper and woke up from traffic noise several times. I had no problem sleeping though. Very comfortablr bed. Good breakfast buffet though.

"First stop in our Honeymoon experience"
The hotel is in a great location, at a walking distance of many of the important sites. The service and staff were amazing! The view of the terrace restaurant are truly breath-taking and romantic. The ambiance of the hotel is very chick and modern, it is a great place to go for your honeymoon or with your family. I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect location and very nice staff. My new husband lost his luggage at the air port and the front desk took care of everything! A day later his bags were in the room. We didn't have to lift a finger or even call the airport, they made our stay very stress free. We felt very special being on our honeymoon and all. My fiance and I stayed at the Athens Gate for only a night, but it was a very pleasureable expereince. The staff was very personable and helpful. The rooms were very neat and clean with a wonderful balcony overlooking Zeus' gate. The hotel was very centrally locted to the Plaka. I would definetely recommend this hotel to family and friends.
