My husband and I were running a race in Philadelphia and only needed a place to rest our heads, so although the ratings were not great for this hotel, we decided to book based on price and the fact we would only be in it for 8 hours (to sleep and shower). The problem was the beds were so uncomfortable my husband got zero sleep so in turn neither did […] I. all the while the noise outside on the streets continued throughout all hours of the night. I stayed at this hotel so I could attend an event in Philadelphia. This was a great location. I especially liked having Chinatown so near. The hotel staff were quite helpful and friendly.

I usually attend the Bentley Conference in the second week of May every year, this hotel is across the street from the Philadelphia convention center. the other hotels cost more, the difference is the staff, the were kind, courteous, helpful & respectful. Hotel is located next to Philadelphia Convention Center and within walking distance to museums and historical sights. We got a first floor room for disabled which was a little bigger than a typical room but the central AC unit was just outside the window so the noise was also above average. Walked into the hotel. Man behind the desk was on the phone. There was no parking outside of the hotel to unload your belongings. I had to wait for almost five minutes before the gentleman helped me! I asked where the parking for the hotel was. It was over four blocks away! We walked our luggage the whole way! There was nothing wrong with the cleanness […] of the room. Our room was right next to the elevator. This was horrible! It was very loud! The walls were very thin! We could hear every word of the people in the room next to us. The hotels parking only gave a discount for 24 hours. Two days cost $46. Everything was easily accessible. Within walking distance. Overall the stay was average. It was clean and convenient. Didn't have time to do the included breakfast since we were headed out to do a 5K Sunday a.m. The only odd thing was that the rooms had windows that faced the hallway. i thought that was weird. The shower was a little wonky, you couldn't just have the tub running, it was both or neither. But it was fine for basic needs.

Very satisfied with hotel. Great location. Would stay there again. There was no iron or ironing board in the room but readily available from the front desk. Staff helpful regarding SEPTA transit system.

Way overpriced, not in a good section of town, no parking, people screaming all night. The heat doesn't work and shower leaked water everywhere. I should have stayed at the homeless shelter next door.

The hotel is very small and poorly located right next to the men's homeless shelter. The staff would have friends coming in and out at all times of the night to talk to so it was very loud. The police had to be called because of a noise disturbance in the room across the hall but did nothing about it. The beds felt more like you were sleeping on a box […] spring rather than a mattress. There was blood stains on a pillow and cigarette burns on the blankets. Overall this place was just plain bad. I checked out at 7am just so I could get some sleep. The positive up front - I got a good price, they allowed me to check in early, since I was coming off an over-night bus. A short walk from the subway trip, and a clean room. However, the plumbing didn't work well - no water out of the shower, and the toilet didn't flush. Some of this was fixed, but not in a timely manner. We didn't expect a lot as we needed to cut costs, but we were pleased with the very helpful staff and the cleaning the room received each day. We felt safe and nights were usually quiet. The breakfasts (cereal, muffins, fruit juice, coffee) were good and supplies were refilled often, reducing the cost of the stay. Hotel is very clean and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a small refrigerator in the room, sitting on the floor. It could be brought up to table heights with a small low table underneath. Breakfast could have a greater selection of cereals

Hotel was pretty much what you would expect for a budget hotel. The night I was there the heat was minimal. An extra blanket would have been welcome but not there. I would stay again, but make sure the heat was working

The Days Inn is located on the street behind the Convention Center - very convenient to Reading Terminal Market as well. You should park your car in one of the nearby garages first because there is no parking at the entrance of the hotel. The room was small but clean and comfortable. The price was too good to ignore. We should have. But because we pre-paid the hassle of an online refund loomed large in my mind. The location was extremely convenient to the Philly Convention Center. Actually, it's the closest of any available hotel. The facility is transitioning from a Travellodge to a Days Inn. No normal-height clothes rod and no bathtub for my wife. Unacceptable. They reassigned us a different room only one door away from the front desk. Mattress was like plywood. Guaranteed free Internet was non-functioning for almost a full 24 hours. Although a technician had been sent to reset the full-system router, the individual floor units also needed to be reset. The free breakfast was packaged with watered-down coffee. We went out for our three day stay. Peeling wall paper in our room. Soiled carpet. Chipped furniture. Perhaps time will heal this open wound. For starters there is no where to park when checking in the luggage its no street parking at all ,(until late night) and upon check -in hotel doors are unlock some stranger comes in and making weird noises while trying to check. The employee there ask the stranger to leave 3 times while still making weird noises the employee let me know that there is […] a nut house around the corner from hotel and sometimes they receive strayers, then the parking(up the street or around corner) u cannot leave your car in parking lot and then re enter the parking area if you need to tour philly , once you leave you have to pay again for parking which is 25.00 each time, finally we are in the room and there is a noise sound like someone plumbing the toilet this noise runs all night , the wall on thin and the hotel guest are very loud in the hallways. The room is very small compared to other hotels. Good only if you want to sleep for overnight. The worst part is the WiFi connection. It takes ages to open a site. Complimentary breakfast is also not that great. On the whole disappointed.
