When we resgister we ask for firm pillows and for the sheet not to be tuck in yet we didn't get what we wanted. We did however found the serivces at the hotel to be excellent. The breakfast from the restaurent on site was not the greatest but it was ok. we recommendate that if you love Italien food, there is an amazing place right across the street […] from the hotel that is within a decent budget if you don"t want to spend alot of money. the food was AMAZING!!!!! simple but very clean, we loved it! easy access to other point of interest!

We stayed there for 2 nights. The room looks new. Very clean and quiet. The staff is very nice. No Complains.

we totally enjoyed our stay at hotel l'aristocrat. the place was packed and still was very quiet. the house staff were quiet as mice. it's location is just far enough away from the main tourist sites but still close enough. aquarium is just down the road. excellent restaurant is within walking distance. the desk staff speaks better english than i do […] and i'm from the states! very nice people. i would definitely stay there again. the price was right also. We liked the rooms and extended our stay. It has a tourist information centre just across the street and just by the highways. But it is a bit far from the old city and that route has several signals so takes some time

The rooms are a bit tiny when you are 4 - and so is the bathroom.

Everything was excellent. I would not hesitate to return.

The hotel has undergone a recent renovation. In many respects this is good. There are some obvious improvements - beds are new, sheets and blankets are new, internet connection is nice and fast. But, the rooms have been changed to accomodate a "green" lifestyle (which I agree with). Hotels are monster carbon emitters... but in this case there was NO […] ventilation in our room. Having a shower with no fan in the room created so much dampness it dripped from the ceiling. At night, the room became so hot, but there was no fan to turn on (the air conditioning units have become disabled). As well, in a hotel, there is sometimes noise in the hallways from other guest, and I sometimes use the room fan as "white noise" to keep the noise from the hallway out. This did not work. It was the perfect place for us. The hotel was recently renovated and everything looks new in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The check in and check out were very pleasant. There's a supermarket next to the hotel for anything you might need.

My husband I had a most enjoyable stay at l'Aristocrate last week. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant and friendly. Everything was very fresh and attractive. Loved the cozy queen beds and beautiful, shiny hardwood floors! Though the hotel is a few miles from Old Quebec, we were right on the bus line; we found it made perfect sense to leave the […] car in the free parking provided by the hotel and ride the bus downtown. Our 2 night stay could not have been nicer. All of the front desk staff, (Louis in particular), were very courteous, helpful, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed. Nice large computer desk, comfortable furniture, and deliciously comfortable beds. Overall, a wonderful visit. The hotel has been upgraded over the years and is in excellent shape. It is conveniently located to the highway and to downtown old Quebec. We enjoyed our stay and the service was excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Aristocrat...all amenities and services were excellent. We found the front desk persons to be professional, friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and fresh smelling. We would recommend this location to friends and family anytime!

If the bed gets top billing on your list, this hotel gets knighted. Wonderful bed , luxurious linens, great lighting for reading. Although it is away from the historic center, it is an easy drive, parking is available. Staff very welcoming and knowledgeable.

This is the Hotel to stay at in Quebec City. The rate is very very good. Its close to the St. Louis street to go to old Quebec and its not far to the Shopping Center and places to eat. Beautiful hotel. You will not be sorry for staying here.

Stayed here over night on the Labour Day long weekend. Hotel just redone and still somewhat under renovations. Rooms are very modern and clean. Only complains were off-gassing from new carpet in halls, paint was not finished in halls and shower seemed to splash everywhere. Once these items are complete this hotel will be very nice. No real complaints […] at all, other then the view from the single King rooms is looking out into some shady apartments. The front desk was very helpful. They even ordered our food for us since we did not speak french. I would wait until the hotel was finished, but all in all this is a great hotel, close to "Old Quebec" and very close to the Highway. We stayed 2 nights. Great Bed. Very comfortable. Nice staff. Nice little pool.... plus there is a frig in room as well. Had a nice breakfast in the hotel restaurant. A small part of the hotel was still under renovation but it did not bother us. The Hotel is outside the city which turned out well for us. Easy in easy out to the highway system. Leave […] your car at the hotel and for three dollars each you can ride the bus, which is100 feet away, in and out of the city all day. Its a nice 15 to 20 minute ride along the St Laurence Sea way in to town. There's not much near the hotel except other hotels and the Marine Aquarium, Which is right down the street, so make sure you bring anything else you might need back on the bus with you. Hotel is under renovation. While the intensive part of the renovation appears done, a few of the finishing touches are still being completed. The room we had has contemporary features - large LCD TV, and a glass shower door, but lacks some of the polish - room numbers are wedged under the door frame rather than being stuck to the doors, show door leaked, […] and the interlocking stones outside aren't done. The disturbing point however is that the hotel lacked running water for the first 30 minutes of our stay, and we weren't informed of this at the time of reservation or check-in. It's relatively high elevation for Quebec city, so if the city has chronic water shortages, the problem could be chronic. If there was just a works project going on, future stays should be better. Front desk offered advice on where to go, what to see, and which bus to take for city center. The staff was awesome. Especially the petite lady with glasses. She was sooooooo helpful and friendly. It was her caring, helpful and friendly demeanor that makes me want to return to the hotel, even with the hotel under construction (including the pool). There were several things that made this hotel stay not worth it. First we had to go over dirt, mud and around construction workers and their equipment to get to the lobby. Then when we got to our room the bathroom was not clean. The rooms also do not have good sound-proofing so you can hear people out in the hall and on the stairs. The reception staff […] also were not friendly. The only good thing going for this hotel was the proximity to the bus stop. We've stayed at the Aristocrat a few years ago and it's been renovated since. We really enjoyed the conveniences and the king size bed was so, so comfortable. We felt so well-rested the next morning. The hotel is under renovations, which is mainly noticeable in the hallways and at the pool. Their website says the pool will open July 9th but I do not see that happening for a long time. It looks like the repairs have been on hold. The rooms are phenomenal!!! The beds are divinely comfortable and the bathroom shower is incredible - like being in a […] waterfall. :) The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. We had a problem and they MORE than compensated for it...offering us free breakfast vouchers. The breakfast is well priced. We took a shuttle bus into the old city each day, which we understand when booking was free, but it was $3.00 per person for the day. Not a big deal, but not what we thought though. We did not mind the bus, it was a BEAUTIFUL drive along the water and we got to see more scenery. The tourist info centre is right across the street and that was so helpful. There is a 4-start French restaurant within the hotel compound and it was outstanding. Also had a great wine list.

Our room was newly remodeled. Bed was very comfortable. Located on the outskirts of town but on the bus line. You can get bus passes around the corner at the pharmacy. Bus ride to Old Quebec is about 20-25 minutes. My 9 year old daughter was disappointed that the pool was closed for remodeling.

Clean and comfort. It seems renovation is now on-going. You'd better rent a car to go downtown. easy to access from airport and freeway. Free Wifi is also convenient.

Nice hotel room, comfortable beds and pleasant staff. Some renovations underway to improve the hotel which resulted in no elevator. I understand the no elevator but no "bell boy" to help with baggage was thoughtless on the part of the hotel management. At my age it was very difficult to manage. Nice hotel. Friendly staff,. Convenient location just off the highway in a suburb of Quebec City. Hotel was under renovation - pool and gym were closed and this wasn't disclosed in advance of booking. If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel with nice rooms and are willing to drive or take a shuttle to old Quebec, keep this hotel in mind.
