Beach Quarters Resort - Βιρτζίνια Μπιτς

We recently stayed two nights here, and it was great. Although the nice looking outdoor pool (located on the 7th floor with a great view of the beach and a bar) wasn't open for the season yet, we were given access to a "sister" hotel's outdoor pool which worked out great. Very Satisfied about the following: Great view from the room. You were able to give me a high room at my request prior to check-in. Room provisions/amenities such as silverware/plates, refrigerator and jacuzzi tub were all excellent. They made a huge difference in our stay. Very Dissatisfied about the following: Being charged per person for the gym. […] That should be included. That is a deal breaker for me to ever use your hotel again. The rooftop pool was not available for use. Did not like being on the receiving end of a pitch for timeshares as a part of being checked in from the concierge. The room was clean, the jacuzzi was nice, the area was excellent, but the bed is uncomfortable and the comforter did not match the decor. With the quality of this hotel the comforters should at least match the room. Overall it was a nice stay. I enjoyed myself highly.

We really enjoyed ourselves. Room was clean and view was spectacular. The whole staff was great. Only complaint was the parking garage was built way too tight for a normal vehicle. I still would recomend because they let us park accross the street.

parking garage very tight and an accident waiting to happen especially if your driving anything bigger than a compact car and bathroom was very smallso small it only has a toilet andbi towel rack in it literally! but other then that great hotel would definitely recommend hotel and I will be staying at that hotel again soon!

I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED ON MY ARRIVAL. I DROVE FROM NY ALONE AND ARRIVED EARLIER THAN CHECK IN TIME AND STAFF HAD MY ROOM READY AND I WAS ABLE TO CHECKIN WITHOUT ANY ISSUES AND REST. It was a great stay for the most part. The only difficult time that I had was checking into the hotel. The hotel had assigned someone the room that I was too reside, so it took about 15mins or so to actually check into the room. However, once, I was in the room, it was a sure delight. This is a nice hotel, it is located right on the beach and close to everything. I was there a week with my family and the rooms were nice, it had a full refrigerator, a dishwasher, and stovetop burners to cook on which is what I was looking for. I enjoyed my stay at the Beach Quarters, the staff was very friendly, the rooms were modern with flat screen tv's and contemporary furniture, and the view of the ocean was breathtaking. The only downfall is the parking garage, it's very tight with sharp corners.

My only complaint is the bathroom was much to small. Room was clean and it had a beautiful view of the ocean. Woke up early every morning just to sit and watch the sunrise!

This was our second stay at this hotel. They seem to be under renovation for years, but it is getting there. Our room was newly renovated and very nice. The only problem is the parking garage, it is very tight to make the turns in it. Nice accomodations except for the fact the room stayed very cold even after turning the thermostate up come to find out there was a large gap underneath the door and the cold air kept coming in, after putting something at the bottom of the door it was much better. They need to fix that seems it would be costing them alot of extra money in heating bills […] if everyone turned up the heat to get the room warmer.Also the walls are very thin, can hear everything on the other side of the walls!!!!! Close to all the stores. Great view. Only bad thing is where the toilet was is kind of small. Definately the best hotel I have ever stayed in.

The hotel is being renovated. We were in a renovated one bedroom accomodation. Great view of the ocean. Service is also very good. Walk to all restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay in spite of being blocks from all the action (the strip). It is a very nice hotel. Loved being on the beach and facing the beach. Staff was very friendly. I was given a lot of helpful hints. The kitchen supplies were great. We may visit again next year.

What the hotel did good, they did excellently: staff...from front desk to housekeeping...was the best I've had in any level establishment. Gym was state of the art and outclassed my local franchise gym. Balcony partitions were concrete and edge to edge, offering complete privacy & security from adjacent rooms. Location is terrific, especially if you […] have small children. Pizza place across the street had the best cajun burger I've ever eaten. Just 13 minutes from Oceana NAS. Outdoor pool area was very nice. BUT - What the hotel lacked, they lacked in spades: only drape at the oceanfront window was a darkening curtain - no sheer. Being on the 3rd floor offered no privacy. Tub/faucets needed repair; toilet ran if you didn't jiggle handle. Fridge was dorm-sized, as was the microwave. There was a per-use fee for the gym (not mentioned on hotels.com). Walls were thin...heard my neighbor on her cellphone, slamming doors literally shook the walls. Patio furniture hadn't been wiped down (cheap plastic). Garage was low-clearance and tight - SUVs and trucks BARELY made it...every corner was 90 degrees and required larger vehicles to make at least 2-point turns. No room service, as no in-house restaurant (outdoor pool had bar with sandwiches only). Indoor pool was too small for actual swimming and adjoining kiddie pools made it impossible to get away from small children. The single drape made the actual stay a bit frustrating, but the housekeeping (Simone) was top-notch. This hotel was an extreme disappointment. The decor and room style did not look anything like the photos on the website. Sheets did not fit the bed and were stained. The jacuzzi tub on the floor above leaked in to our room. The decor was very outdated. I would not recommend this hotel.

This was a beautiful hotel on the beach, located at the beginning of the boardwalk! We had an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean. The room was clean and comfortable. It couldn't have been better. Two nights is not enough! You definitely need at least three to really enjoy yourself. The hotel even had a roof top swimming pool and bar. If you are planning […] on going to the beach, you might want to bring chairs and an umbrella because the rentals were pricey. Also, if you bring an umbrella be sure to bring the tool to get it into the sand. It can be windy, causing umbrella's to fly away. The rented ones stay put in the sand though. Great ocean views, clean rooms, nice staff, very tight garage (my only complaint:)

The Bad: Although this hotel is on the strip it is towards the end so you might need to take your car to certain places. The pillows were tiny and rough and the door the bathroom open inwards making the already tiny bathroom, even more uncomfortable. We also have a suburban and it was very difficult trying to get it in and out of the lot. We were pleasantly surprised...great location away from all the crowds, beautiful beach, clean and comfortable room.

We LOVED this hotel with one exception: We would have liked some sort of privacy screen to enable us to get into and out of the tub for a shower/bath without being in full view of anyone visiting in our room. We assumed when booking the room that every tub - regular or jacuzzi - would afford a measure of privacy. Unfortunately, we were forced to send […] our visitors to the balcony so we could shower/bathe. It would be advisable/helpful to make this information available to anyone planning to book this particular room design. We hope that this concern will be passed on to the hotel management as it was a similar complaint we heard from other guests. We had a great experience at Beach Quarters. Everything was handled very professionally. We were there for only a few days and wished we could have extended our stay at this particular resort. Good Job Hotel.com for getting up into Beach Quarters on such short notice.

It was a nice room

There was a very loud party in the room next door that started before 9pm and lasted past 2am. I reported this to the front desk at 11:30 pm and was told that as long as they weren't violent, there was nothing they could do. I had to get up at 5am and got at best 2 hours sleep that night. We chose this hotel for a recent stay timed to coincide with the Shamrock Marathon in Virginia Beach. The good: 1) rate, 2) location, 3) cleanliness, 4) pool, 5) kitchenette. The not so good: 1) bedroom adjoined the outside hall and it was very noisy, 2) the concierge vultures were pesky, 3) parking is tight. hotel was nice and clean. Easy access to beach,beautiful oceanfront view. No resturant and parking garage is very tight for large vehicles.(Chevy Suburbans)

All I can say is amazing. Will be going back.

It is in very good repair considering its age. Our bath tub leaked into the room below us, causing us to have to change rooms. We were given a free meal for trouble.

This hotel was very nice, but we expected a small table and maybe some glasses in the room. When we wanted to eat in the room, we had to picnic on the floor. The hotel web site makes it look like there are restaurants in the hotel - not true. Meals weren't as easy as we would have liked. We did love the pools and the beach.

We had a room on the 1st floor which was ok but our door to the beach never worked. It was fixed on the 5th day when we were leaving. The rest of the stay was very nice and the front desk area very nice, One last comment would be about the parking garage being very tight and hard to manouver.

The staff was very nice and the room was amazing! It was clean and it had plenty of amenities. The view was gorgeous. We really enjoyed our stay here and we would recommend this place to anyone!

The price you pay to stay at this hotel is not worth the money. Problems noted include: - Parking garage requires anyone driving a car larger than a Mini-Cooper to almost trick drive to get lined up with the ramps between levels. - Sheets on the beds were all flat sheets vice fitted bottom sheets. They did not stay tucked. - Pillows were foam type and […] were too large for comfortably sleeping on, leaving us with neck aches in the morning. - Decor was early seventies. Would expect a hotel with a room rate this large to have updated by now. - Mattress on sofa sleeper was extremely thin. Linen package for it was a bit musty. I stayed on the 12th floor so the views were amazing from the entry way to the balcony. The only thing I did not like was the parking. Great hotel overall.

hotel has garage type parking that is not made for suv;s or large cars be careful when making turns in garage entrance and exit is the same so be careful
