"Horrible Experience"
Horrible experience. Manager was insulting, locked our rooms on second night for no reason. Heat was locked at 68 degrees and manager turned off heat completely on second night after finally getting rooms unlocked.
everything was fine until saturday morning when I took my shower the previous guests left their wash cloths over top of the shower rod and house keeping did not remove them. I also noticed that the smoke detector did not have a battery in it. but the only thing that concerned the frt desk attendant when we checked out was the fact that there were 2 […] extra people that stayed in the room with us and that we had to be charged for. i don't think i will ever use the wynngate hotel franchise again infact i will also advise all of my friends to use the choise hotel's the next time we travel. sorry for any inconvienience we may have caused by having two extra guests in our room. This is what I call the hotel from hell. The room they booked us in was aweful. The bed was completely collapsed. It wasn't even sewn together anymore like a mattress should be. You could open it up, and lom at the squised springs. The room was also located next to the plumbing junction for the entire hotel, so every 30 secs was this annoyingly loud […] clank, bang. "Family Christmas"
We booked four rooms for families coming into the Grandville area for Christmas at our daughter's home. It worked out so well, I would definitely book it again.

We were very pleased with our stay, booked 4 rooms to accomodate family for our Christmas together at daughter's house in Jenison. We woudl not hesitate to recommend this to others.

The Days Inn and Suites in Grandville, MI was one of the best values around. The king suite was an awesome room with all the amenities including jetted tub. The lobby looked outdated, but I was there just to sleep for one night so I didn't care as long as the room was clean and comfortable. "Avoid at this time"
Went into Lobby, no employees were there. There was a sign that said call this number for service. I called the number, the phone next to me rang 8 times, I hung up. I waited for a total of 10 minutes, called again, this time someone answered from a handheld unit and said they would be right down. The rooms were old and dated. The sink had been removed […] from the bathroom and placed out in the bedroom/hallway area of my jacuzzi sweet. Where the sink was in the bathroom was now replaced with a granite counter built on a plywood box. Yep cheap plywood with orange paint (construction style). It was obvious the sink was there because the paint was faded. There was also a nasty ring of filth in the toilet. I know the price was low, but for a little bit more I could have done a lot better. We were very disappointed with the surroundings upon arriving at the hotel. It looked nothing like the pictures on the web site. When we entered, we considered leaving and finding other accommodations but we were tired and decided to stay. The carpet was not clean from the time we entered the building, and we had to get someone to come in and vacuum […] our room as soon as we entered. When we left the next morning we were charged an additional amount because management insisted we had additional guests. "Convenience is only thing going for it"
I stayed at the Days Inn in Grandville out of convenience and had stayed there in the past, apparently before they had let it go to hell. There were 3 problems I had: 1) Shower was cold, or at best lukewarm. Thought it was a fluke the first time but just as cold the next day. 2) Heavy construction going on at 7:20am on a Saturday morning just outside […] the window. Shook the entire hotel fiercely. 3) Had a woman (maid?) just walk in my room midafternoon on day of checkin. She knocked quickly and walked right in before I had a chance to respond. The first two problems were brought up at checkup and I was totally blown off by the woman at the counter. Do yourself a favor, spend an extra $20 and stay somewhere else in Gville. "Days Inn-Grandville- great price"
we got a great price on our room for one night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean. Breakfast was good in the morning, with options for everyone. We were very happy with our stay.

The best I can say is this hotel was clean enough although there was a used towel hanging in the bathroom when we got there. It has not been kept up well at all. The parking lot was crumbling and full of weeds. The machine to configure the room keys was broken. The furniture and decor looked like it was purchased from a variety of very different and […] very old hotels as none of it matched nor fit the functionality of the rooms. The bed was very low to the floor and the mattress was lumpy. There was no hot water. There was coffee and tea provided in the rooms, but not cream, sugar or stir sticks. The cups provided read "do not microwave" and since their was no hot water you might be forced to use the grimy hot water coffee maker. The toilet didn't flush well. There was an internet cord hanging on the ceiling from bare holes drilled from one room to the other. The tv armoire was fashioned with a packaging ribbon tied to the clothes rack to keep the door from slamming shut on the tv. The floors/ceilings were paper thin. We could hear every footstep on the floor above us. And there was only enough batter for 1/2 a waffle eI feel bad for the girl at the front desk who seemed to be the ONLY employee in the hotel and ran around trying to accommodate everyone as best as she could with little at her disposal. "nice and convenient"
The staff was friendly, room was comfortable and I liked the new breakfast room.

My family stayed here for a little getaway weekend and it was perfect. Family friendly with a full breakfast for free. Clean safe rooms. The area seemed a little sketchy but we only slept in the hotel and drove to our vacation locations.

Overall pretty good for the money. The rooms are clean, normal Continental breakfast with waffles. Quite a few out of town workers and work trucks in the parking lot so at times you may have to deal with some of them being loud in the hallway after hours.

We ended up getting a great deal on a suite. Spacious for a weekend getaway. Not too far from malls, restaurants and movie theaters. Our only complaints were that you could hear others using their showers/whirlpool tubs (loud) and one of the cupboards had green mold in it (we didn't use them but still gross).

The staff was nice and helpful. The room hadn't been vacuumed to my standards (candy wrappers and opened sugar packets under beds edge) the coffee pot is single cup at a time. Beds are firm (I like firm). The continental breakfast is just what it is.

Hotel was a bit old, but clean. Service personnel were polite but seemed to have trouble speaking (and understanding) English clearly.

The Beds were falling apart and the hallway to the room was 100 degrees! Not very clean, the walls need to be updated and painted.

"Noisy and not real clean"
It was difficult to sleep with the noisy air conditioner; it had a banging sound all night when it was running; room was hot and stuffy with it off. It was an older building, but that was okay. Everything appeared clean except the floor. We took showers in the morning and by the time we checked out at 9:30am we had to wash our feet again!

The hotel was very nice but the bed was awful. Neither my husband or I could sleep. The bed felt like a cardboard box that was buckling in the middle. The breakfast was wonderful and the help was very nice,

"ok but.............."
my first impression was not good. the smell as a walked into the lobby was less than desireable.......was a odor that was hard to describe...........a musty smell that was trying to be covered up from some awefull air freshener.......and the room smelled BAD i had to go buy a air freshener at the gas station to put in the room when we went to dinner.......then […] there was a party going on a few rooms down that went on late late late, was loud.......their smoking area outside was people smoking right near the front door, was not attractive at all and smelled.........the price was good was the ONLY reason we stayed and our money was NON-REFUNDABLE other wise would have left Διαβάστε περισσότερα

The receptionist went out of her way to provide information about good restaurant s and sites to see in the city. She downloaded information from the internet just for us and gave us excellent directions for getting into Grand Rapids. to find them.

A friend and I were in town for a show at the Meijer Gardens. This hotel was very conveniently located along the highway and easy to find. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Well the Indian guy at the front desk would not get off his cell phone to check me in, I stood for a good 5 minutes staring directly at him for him to even acknowledge I was there. He just stood there at the counter gabbing away. The decor hasn't been changed since the seventies. And the hallways reeked of Indian Cuisine. The room smelled a little like […] right guard deodorant. The "Jacuzzi" in the room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned. The TV kept flashing fuzz every couple minutes. The room was not very clean there were socks left by some on else on the night stand and food crumbs in the window ceil. I left the windows open hoping they would take a duster or a rag an wipe down the area, but that didn't happen. We stayed 2 nights but I guess you get what you pay for. "Excellent service"
Our first room, though non-smoking, reeked of smoke. The staff immediately moved us to another room, this one on the sunny side of the building and with jacuzzi jets in the tub. I really appreciated that service!!

We got a great deal using Hotels.com. It was a bit of a drive from where we wanted to be, but we couldn't beat the price. It was perfect. The room was a lot bigger than we anticipated. It was comfortable. The only thing was the bathtub had jets, but they either don't work, or aren't supposed to work anymore.
