Καλό ξενοδοχείο, αν και για 4 αστέρων περίμενα λίγο καλύτερη εξυπηρέτηση από το προσωπικό και κυρίως από τη ρεσεψιον. Γενικά καλά, σε πολύ βολική τοποθεσία διότι είχε κοντά πολλά εστιατόρια, σταθμό μετρό και το κεντρικό σταθμό του τρένου που πηγαίνει και στο αεροδρόμιο. Ωράιο δωμάτιο και άνετο και πολύ ωραίο πρωϊνό. Το μόνο αρνητικό του ότι δεν είχε wifi στο δωμάτιο (δεν έπιανε) και οι υπάλληλοι στη ρεσεψιον μπορούσαν να είναι πιο εξυπηρετικοί.

καθαρό και ευρύχωρο δωμάτιο. Κοντά σε στάση τραμ. Σε 20 λεπτά είσαι στο κέντρο με τα πόδια Το βράδυ η περιοχή έχει μικρά μπαράκια όπου κινούνται κυρίως φοιτητές. Το πρωϊνό πολύ ικανοποιητικό για ΒΒ δωμάτιο.Εξυπηρετικός κ με πολύ καλή γνώση αγγλικων ο ιδιοκτήτης Francesco. Αρνητικό το γεγονός ότι ακούγεται έντονα η μουσική από το μπαράκι που βρίσκεται στο ισόγειο(πάρτε μαζί ωτασπίδες) κ το ότι το δωμάτιο ήταν στο ισόγειο του αίθριου.

it's strange i paid all the taxes when i was booking this hotel, but when i was checking out they asked me to pay the tax again!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have no idea why they did this only for 4€???!!!!!

beware! this place is NOT as advertised! they have SELECTIVE english speaking abilities and an obvious disdain for americans. The rooms are extremely stark and the shower drains do not work so only one person a day can efffectively shower. the airconditioning is poor and the beds are like sleeping on the sidewalk. on the third day I lost my psassport. […] Not only were they indifferent to my situation but the man at the desk was actually scoffing at us and informed us that we should be more concerned than we were. they also refused to call their cab service to see if it had been turned in . we were greeted most mornings at the "complimentory breakfast" with glares of contempt. PLEASE RUN SCREAMING INTO THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU STAY IN THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!!! we stayed in 4 other places during our tour of Italy that were positively charming! It is regrettable that our first impression of Italy was here. This hotel is obviously not affiliated with the church wich is beautiful to visit. unfortunately when we were checking in there was a triple funeral service taking place... a very sad way to start our trip, the hotel " parking lot was full of weeping people." we had to walk through them to get to the street . this place was the worst experience!!!! "Good value but wouldn't make my stay extended"
For one night this place is fine but there are many more places in Rome if you plan on making an extended stay that i would stay before coming back to this.

We were very pleased with this hotel. Very convenient for Historic Rome and subway access. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Building was interesting and well maintained.

"Beautiful building, average rooms"
We had a very nice experience in Domus Sessoriana. Hotel is set in an amazing facility. The rooms are not too big and a bit spartan, but since we only slept there it was fine. Breakfast was pretty staisfactory as well. Give heating and hot water some time and it will work well.

The hotel was pretty nice, especially considering the reasonable price. It consists of 2 buildings adjacent to a cathedral. You need to request to be in the main hotel building, not the other one. We were in the one on the opposite side of the cathedral, and it was absolutely freezing! The hotel is clean and quiet. It was a place to put our heads down at night time after a busy day in Rome; and this is all me and my family did here.... sleep and have breakfast then off to more sight seeing and shopping in Rome. As such, being off the beaten path, it is very […] quiet in the surrounding neighborhood at night, unlike the heart of Rome where there is constant noise and bustle and sound of sirens, etc. The surrounding neighborhood is clean, safe and quiet. Good shopping nearby along Via Appia. There is an outdoor market for the bargain hunter, COIN "shopping mall", and several shops along Via Appia worth visiting. A nice little gold shop too for those who appreciate Italian gold. Also nearby is Piazza and Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, and the Scale Santa (Holy Steps, said to be that which Jesus climbed when persecuted by Pontius Pilot). It is "walking distance" to the Colosseum, and can still be considered walking distance to most of the sights in Rome (for those who don't mind a little extra walking to start their sight seeing day). "Mixed review for Domus Sessoriana"
We have mixed feelings about this hotel. The few bad things is that it's very difficult to find, the beds are rock hard, and you have to get the porter to bring you ice if you want any. Also, one of the staff (not all of them) was not very friendly. The good things is that it's very accessible to the Colloseum and other tourist spots, the rest of the […] staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was very good. "Gute Lage durch Metro-Nähe"
Das Hotel war sauber, die Zimmer geraeumig, sehr freudliches und hilfsbereites Hotelpersonal. Das Fruehstueck war gut und reichlich. Sehr beeindruckend war der wunderschoene Flur im 1 OG! Zimmer und Speisesaal waren immer angenehm temperiert. Handtücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt, die Betten wurden innerhalb von 5 Aufenthaltstagen auch nochmals frisch […] bezogen, was m.e. nicht zwingend notwendig ist. We hadden voor 4 nachten geboekt, maar kwamen 2 dagen eerder aan in Rome. We hoopten dat hotel Domus Sessoriana al plek had voor ons. Maar dat was niet het geval, het was helemaal vol. Ze hebben heel veel moeite voor ons gedaan om voor die twee nachten een ander hotel te vinden. Dat is uiteindelijk gelukt. Hotel Domus Sessoriana Staat in een rustige […] buurt, 10 minuten lopen vanaf het station en de metro. En het heeft een heel groot dakteras. Alleen kregen we het gevoel dat het personeel iedereen in de gaten hield. Er stond altijd wel iemand op de gang en op het dakteras werd ook regelmatig gecontroleerd. "Domus Sessoriana ist außergewöhnlich!"
Ein tolles Hotel, wir waren rundum zufrieden. Sehr, sehr sauber, guter, freundlicher Service, reichhaltiges, leckeres Frühstück. Außergewöhnliche Atmosphäre durch die Klosterarchitektur, wunderschöne Dachterrasse, Zimmer mit 4 Einzelbetten, perfekt für eine vierköpfige Familie!
die beschreibung des Hotels ließ einen gewissen Fair aus seiner sakralen Vergangenheit erwarten, die jedoch völlig fehlte. Allgemeinzustand der Zimmer und Service waren bestenfalls mittelprächtig. Irgendwie alles etwas lieblos.

El hotel estaba muy limpio y la gente de recepción fue toda muy simpática y amable. En cambio, el personal del buffet libre (una chica y un hombre) eran muy estúpidos y maleducados, con todos los huéspedes. la zona del hotel es bonita y está al lado de la muralla romana (San Giovanni), el metro está a 15 minutos andando, pero hay que tener en cuenta […] que solo hay dos línias de metro en roma y vigilar con los horarios. bien situé dans un ancien monastère, non loin de saint Jean de Latran. Le problème c'est que le chauffe-eau étant en panne, nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude. La climatisation dans notre chambre ne fonctionnait pas très bien non plus.

This was a cool, nice, clean hotel located in/beside a church; not a luxury hotel, but tidy and reasonably prized- and it was cool to have a room beside a church (in a former monastery?), looking out on Rome from bell tower hight! The hotel is located a little off, right next to the old city walls, but in a nice area, and the bus #3 passes by, it goes […] to Colosseum, and then to Trastevere: Very practical. "Hotell i Roma"
Sentralt i forhold til metro og severdigheter, rolig, god atmosfære, grei og god frokost. NB: Vanskelig å finne dersom du ikke vet at hotellet er en del av en kirke. Hotellskiltet er så lite at du må stå foran døra for å se det. Vi lette lenge etter hotellet.

Albergo suggestivo, con un ambiente molto speciale. Ideale per famiglie perchè le camere sono grandi e possono ospitare comodamente fino a 4 persone. Camere interne molto silenziose e con una vista piacevole. L'ingresso dell'albergo non è facile da trovare e sorprende sicuramente la sua ubicazione. Posizione non centralissima, ma comoda e con l'autobus […] in pochi minuti si arriva al Colosseo e a Piazza Venezia. La zona non è turistica e rende molto l'idea dei quartieri residenziali romani. "Domus Sessoriana is a bit different hotel"
Living practically inside a church makes this place special. This makes me forget the fact that all noise from corridor sounded as if it was from our room. Which was not real problem for us as this hotel is more for families and couples. Breakfast buffet was not what i like but it was good enough to get us going. I missed fresh fruits and eggs. "Domus Sessoriana i Rom - klosterhotel"
Hotellet ligger en lille km fra Colosseum og Forum Romanum. Der er 3 buslinier mod centrum i nærheden af hotellet og ca. 600 m til metrostation. Hotellet ligger altså noget øst for centrum, så det giver lidt transport, hvis man skal ud og hjem flere gange på en dag. Vi fandt dog også nogle få gode spisesteder i nærheden, hvis man ikke vil til centrum […] om aftenen. Vi var 5 personer og boede på 1. sal i 2 tremandsværelser. Der er ikke meget hygge på værelserne, da der er meget højt til loftet, klinkegulv og ingen komfortable møbler, men kun en puf og et skrivebord ud over sengene og sengebordene. Sengene er hårde efter vores mening, men det er jo ret typisk for Italien. Værelserne var dog meget rummelige, der er skabsplads og meget fint rent. Badeværelse ok med brusekabine og varmt vand var der rigeligt af. Hotellet har en dejlig tagterrasse, dog uden servering. Men derudover er der ikke rigtigt nogle hyggerum, hvor man kan samle sig, hvis man er flere, der rejser sammen. Morgenmaden er god med flere muligheder, både brød, youghurt og cornflakes. Derudover er der ingen mulighed for køb af mad/snacks el. lign., dog findes en automat, hvor der kan trækkes kaffe, kakao, sodavand. Der kan bestilles afhentning i lufthavnen via hotellet, det fungerede 100% og da vi var 5 ialt, var det optimalt at blive transporteret i en lille minibus i stedet for 2 taxaer - og også billigere. Se hotellets egen hjemmeside og ring et par dage før. Hotel altså ok, men ikke så hyggeligt og måske lige en anelse for langt fra bymidten, og derfor måske lidt dyrt i den uge vi var der. "A plain room"
The price taken into consideration, not the best offer we have had. A plain room and a plain breakfast. The only interesting thing about the hotel is that it's part of a church and a monastery.
