This hotel overcharged us for a conference room, they charged me for equipment which not existed. The were rude when I insisted not to pay for equipment which not existed. Never this hotel again. The room is ok, but nothing more. There are other very good hotel in Ljubljana, choose one of them instead.

This hotel is perfectly located next to the main square with tons of restaurants and bars. It's also walking distance from the castle. The room was very nice, spacious, and modern. The hotel staff made us feel welcome and spoke English. They also had a great breakfast buffet included with the room. The hotel has secured valet parking. If you plan to […] sleep in, ask for a room away from the church. The church bells go off very early! I also had a chain smoker in the room next door, which permeated our room with smoke. Great location, very large room. We got a suite with separate bedroom and living room/kitchenette. Very helpful staff.

Pushing the double beds together was great for my husband, 2 yr old son & I to all sleep in. Rooms were HUGE and very nice. Staff at pool was very nice. We had the whole thing to ourselves, it was great. Massage was nice, too. Great location! Would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice hotel in a great location, it could not be better located for the old town. The rooms were comfy and the breakfast had lots of choice. We tried out the restarant in the hotel, but they did not have any vegatarian options on the main courses, and they were not interested in accomodating non meat eaters. Beautifuly maintained hotel in a wonderful location one block from the center of Ljubljana. Very nice breakfast buffet. Service, however, retained traces of the Communist era: both maid service and waiter service at breakfast were a bit spotty. Perfect location. Great hotel

This hotel is perfectly situated to explore the city on foot. Large, clean, rooms with in-room internet. Great breakfast included. A bit difficult to find using a car as the city roads are complicated, but once there, everything was perfect.

Beautiful hotel perfectly located - one minute to the city centre and a ten minute walk to the train/bus station. Great breakfast, staff really helpful.... Only negative would be the gym - small, no treadmills etc

One block from city center, pool is smaller than it appears in advertising. Staff speaks English very well and were all very friendly.

This hotel was ideally located in the centre of Ljubljana. We arrived at Ljubljana airport, got a bus right outside the door to the city centre for €5. We were dropped off at the train station only a few hundred yards from the hotel which was much cheaper that the €35 taxi ride and very convenient. My boyfriend and I sat at the top of the bus so it […] was like being on a tour bus for about 20-25 minutes. The hotel provided lots of information on tours (and can book them for you too) such as wine tasting, visiting lakes, tours to Venice and lots more, some were run by Kompass. We booked a tour to Lake Bled and Bohjini which cost €52 each and was well worth the money. We were collected from the hotel at 9.45am by a tour guide in a comfortable people carrier. There were 5 people on the tour so it was very relaxed. We visited the amazing Lake Bled, went on a boat out to the island, saw Lake Bohjini, Savica waterfall and Castle Bled. It was extremely good value and all the tickets were included in the price. Our guide Tamara was really knowledgable and really knew her history. We would have gone on other tours but we were only staying 3 nights so we didn't. Breakfast at the hotel was a lavish affair with a great choice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone. She visited last year (2008), and the three of us (wife, daughter and me) this year. Good hotel in the heart of Ljubljana, just a stones throw from the triple birdges. Room was roomy having two queen size beds, air conditioning and a very large bath room. Breakfast was excellent, with a large selection of food and was a good change from the continential […] breakfasts seen in many European hotels. Would not hesitate in remcomending it to anyone visiting ljubljana, though we booked through hotels.com and got the room for two nights at a substantial discount to normal prices. Die Lage des Hotels ist unschlagbar! Die Stadt allgemein ist sooo toll! Einfach wunderschön, besonders im Sommer! Das Hotel bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten: super Frühstück, sehr freundliches Personal, perfekte Lage, Pool, ... Für ein Grand Hotel sind die normalen Standardzimmer zwar recht schlicht und ich persönlich finde Plastikvorhänge super schrecklich, […] aber das ist mein persönlicher Geschmack! Bellissimo albergo. Centralissimo. Molto curato. Colazione abbondante. Calere molto grandi. Se si dorme però in una doppia ad uso tripla il letto aggiuntivo è molto piccolo. Giudizio complessivo: Ottimo

Everything was perfect: the room, the situation, the staff, the breakfast, the swimming pool, the sauna. Everything, i was feeling good in this accomodation and i'm sure i will come back. Though, the hotel's restaurant is not cheap and perfect, contrary to what Ljubjana can provides to us. Grand Hotel was a highly satisfying experience

This was our first visit to Ljubljana, and thanks to the excellent location of Grand Union, we were able to make the most out of it. Just 100 m walk and you are in the heart of the city. Spacious rooms, elegant interior, integrated car park, very friendly service.

Erinomainen sijainti, miellyttävä henkilökunta, hiljainen, siisti ja tyylikäs hotelli.

L'Hôtel est magnifique de l'extérieur et parfaitement situé en centre ville. L'intérieur vaut approximativement l'extérieur pour un prix relativement modeste. Une belle expérience.

Kohtuuhintainen hotelli hyvillä palveluilla siistissä kaupungissa. Hotellin yläkerrasta löytyy kolme suomalaista saunaa ja uima-allas. Hotellista on helppo lähteä tutustumisretkille eri puolille Sloveniaa. Henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja rehellistä. Todella suositeltava hotelli!

Grand Hotel Union Executive täytti kaikki toiveemme 30-v häämatkalle. Hotelli oli ottanut huomioon toiveeni vaimoni yllättämisestä saapumispäivänä ja palvelu oli ensiluokkaista. Kävelymatkan päässä kaikesta oleellisesta. Ei liikenteen ääniä tai muita häiriöitä. Aaamiainen monipuolinen. Henkilökunta ystävällinen ja huoneet siistit.

Perfekt läge, hög standard, suverän frukost och trevlig personal so, var duktiga på engelska.

Excelente localização, mesmo no centro da Cidade. Quartos confortáveis e espaçosos. Parqueamento: 20€ com vallet parking. 1€ por cabeça de taxa turistica no check-out.

A good hotel for a reasonable price. Breakfast buffé very good and possibility to dine outside in a small garden. Free internet and a small balcony included. Pool and gym under renovation was the only backside during the stay.

Hotellet ligger veldig sentralt. Gangavstand til butikker, restauranter, severdigheter og utesteder. Majestetisk hotell med historie og veldig fine rom. Svømmebassenget var under oppussing men dette var vi klar over fra før. Hotellet har også egen garasje som er greit å ha når man leier en leiebil. Frokosten var også veldig bra med mye utvalg.

Fornemt hotel, centralt beliggende i hjertet af Ljubijana. Servicen var upåklagelig. Vi bad om at få strygejern/bræt bragt til vores værelse, og det ankom omgående. Hvis man er til moderne design, skal hotellet dog ikke vælges. Der er blomstrede sengetæpper osv. Ligeledes bærer hotellet præg af at være meget stort og lidt upersonligt. Bra service. Nära gamla stan.

Hotellet var svært komfortabelt med store rene rom og luksuriøse bad. Frokosten var eksellent!
