A relaxing place with a character (as a former monastery), certainly far superior to the numerous other Sorrento hotels, apartment block like, of the same tourist category. Helpful personnel, ample common areas, fair breakfast, splendid surroundings, neat details, clean overall with modernized utilities. On the downside: bed-sheets have not been changed for five nights, rather poor room service (bed roughly laid), some problems with the common bathroom. Generally, I would not recommend rooms with a shared bathroom to future customers, especially during peak seasons.

Hotel Correra was a very pleasant surprise during our short stay in the chaotic, dirty but at the same time charming city of Naples! The location was perfect in order to see the main sites of the city. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was good enough. We definately recommend hotel Correra for every visitor of Naples.

Hotel was excellent all round. We also found sant agnello to have a good choice of quality restaurants that in general seemed less expensive than sorrento. Only negative is we had a small local tax to pay when we understood our prepaid rate covered everything.
Visited on the recommendation of my brother. Very nice to be surrounded by the lovely citrus trees and beautiful grounds. Short walk or bus into Sorrento. The restaurant was good and the wait staff is super professional. We ate breakfast there and found that it was excellent quality and value for dinner as well and ate at the hotel several evenings. […] My only complaint was that our double bed was actually 2 twins pushed together. "Beautiful place"
Highly recommend this place! Initially, we had conflicting reservations as the online reservation suggested i had infants vs teen (the system dropped the second number in the age) so my room wasn't big enough for second bed. However the staff was EXTREMELY helpful in resolving the situation (though i did have to pay a little extra for the 3rd bed in […] bigger room). I thoroughly enjoyed staying here; rooms were fantastic; staff very very friendly; kids loved picking the oranges from the trees and eating them as they were sooo juicy; even the restaurants were delicious close by. Breakfast was good esp the fruit was out of this world, and the best orange juice as it seemed freshly squeezed. I only wish it was a little closer to Sorrento. The buses were rarely available so we did walk majority of the time. Since we did go to Capri and Positano, being near Sorrento was important (plus the shopping and restaurants there were great). "The best experience you will ever have"
This hotel is a dream come true! We had so much fun. The staff was nice and knowledgeable. We booked the half-board option and it was the best thing that we did. The dinning staff is at the top of their game: approachable, friendly, ready to help... When they found out that we were in Italy to study the language, they helped us out by speaking in Italian […] and letting us stumble through our responses. "A very good choice."
We stayed at this Hotel for 5 nights to celebrate our anniversary. On arrival, we were greeted by the lovely Rosanna at Reception, who was very friendly and helpful. A request emailed beforehand for a surprise cocktail and bowl of fresh fruit in our room (my wife was expecting and could not drink alcohol at the time) was dealt with efficiently with […] the drinks being delivered to our room within 5 minutes of our arrival without any fuss. The food in the hotel was beautiful and the staff, in particular Salvatore, the head waiter in the dining room were always genuinely concerned that the food and service was to our liking. The hotel is set in amongst orange, lemon and melon trees and as a result, it has a beautiful feel to it. There is a lovely very well maintained pool with a bar beside. From a convenience point of view, it is only 400m from the Sant' Agnello Circumvesuviana train station which is one stop (2-3 minutes by train) to Sorrento. We took the train from Naples out to Sant Agnello and it was very convenient and on time. There is also a bus stop right outside the door to the hotel with buses to Sorrento coming every hour. About 600m away is a bus stop for a more regular service. All in all, a very good choice. Its a little too far to walk to Sorrento although we did that on two occasions once from curiosity and once due to a bus and train strike so take the bus or train or a taxi to save you the stress. The reception staff were very helpful. Hotel was very clean. Room was very nice.The food was very good and the waitress staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome especially the head waiter. Hotel was situated in a good position. Would go back and visit again.

"Fantastic place!"
The hotel allpha is located about 1.5k from Sorrento in San Agnello. The area is lovely very local and with great train and bus transport into Sorrento if you cannot make the walk. I spent a week with my father in the hotel and also a few days with my boyfriend and the hotel and location were perfect for both. The staff were so helpful and not always […] just pushing the trips they had available but also public transport options and recommendations for local restaurants. I really did have a great holiday here as you have a lovely pool but also a discounted rate to use the beach nearby for 8 euros with lift and sunbed which is pretty good for the Amalfi coast. "Friendly hotel"
Hotel Alpha was a nice hotel, but I'm not sure it measures up to 4 stars. Pool is great and there's a good choice on offer at breakfast. We didn't have any evening meals at the hotel as only there for 2 nights.
"Excellent family owned and managed hotel"
We chose this hotel primarily for its location, within walking distance of Sant' Agnello train station and close enough to Sorrento centre to walk , about half an hour and on the local bus routes. The hotel exceeded our expectations. It has spacious public areas - reception, lounge bar, dining room, terraces for dining alfresco, well tended gardens […] all around the hotel and a very nice swimming pool surrounded by citrus trees. Lots of sun beds. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient and their English was excellent. The cold breakfast buffet had a great variety of choice. We ate dinner in the hotel on one ot the evenings of our stay and the food was good. The menu gave a good choice and was changed every day. The hotel has special entertainment dinners several time a week. We did not attend these due to other commitments during our stay. "GOOD DEAL"
Good well priced hotel easy to get to Sorrento proper but away from the bustle of that area. Only slight grouch is that they have a hotel wifi site which is not available for guests so you have to pay 3E half hour. We thought the breakfast was very good

Alphan sijainti on hyvä. Hotellin ympäristö on rauhallinen. Editse menevän tien liikenne on vähäistä verrattuna keskustan liikenteeseen. Keskustaan on helppo matkustaa junalla tai bussilla. Tähän kannattaa varata aikaa 15-30 min. Hotellin henkilökunta on ystävällistä ja palvelualtista. Aamupala on runsas. Panorama-huone oli tilava ja parveke viihtyisä. […] Meri ei kuitenkaan näkynyt niin hyvin kuin olisi toivonut. Näköalat ovat hyvät vasta ylimmässä kerroksessa. Allasalue on viihtyisä ja iltaisin kauniisti valaistu. "Hotell Alpha Sorrento"
Mycket trevligt hotell med mysigt poolområde. Fina rum med balkong och viss havsutsikt. Jätte fin frukost buffe,trevlig hjälpsam personal. Tog ca 20min att promenera till Sorrento. Fanns buss som gick ofta.

"Hotel Alpha - Hotellet med den goda maten"
Vi fick ett panoramarum med två balkonger i den äldre byggnaden. Rummet var jättebra med det enda minuset var att det gick en tvärgata förbi rummet som ibland blev lite störande. Vi kunde skymta havet i horisonten. Poolen var jättebra och deras trädgård påminde oss om Thailand, väldigt välskött och vacker. Men det allra bästa med Hotel Alpha är den […] jättetrevliga personalen och den supergoda maten som ingick i halvpensionen. Vi åt trerätters varje kväll och var lika nöjda varje gång då det fanns mycket att välja på och menyn till och med ändrades nästan varje kväll. Mycket att välja på till frukost också men kvalitén var inte lika bra som till middagen. Bodde 3 nätter, helt ok hotell. Märks att det är ett charterhotell. Betala x-tra för badhandduk för att ta ett ex, . Mycket bra frukost. Ligger lite avsides från Sorrento. Fick bli en skön promenad på ca 20 min då bussförbindelserna var sådär. Fin poolanläggning

"Alpha Hotel, Sant´ Agnello, Sorrento"
En underbar semester på ett trevligt hotell med trevligt bemötande från personalens sida. Vi fick ett rum i en pittoresk annexbyggnad, helmysigt, med balkong mot trädgård, där vi åt våra Italien inspirerande luncher när vi var "hemma". Apelsinträd precis nedanför, stora blå hortensiabuskar, blå himmel och fåglar som kvittrade. Det kändes Italien! Mataffär […] fanns på 5 minuters avstånd för inköp, perfekt. Vi promenerade oftast in till Sorrento, ca 25-30 minuter tog det när vi lärt känna omgivningen och tog tåg (stannade runt hörnet till mataffären) eller buss hem. Perfekt för oss. Frukost på hotel är viktig för mig, jag vill verkligen njuta av den och det kan jag säga att det gjorde vi båda två! Mycket bra städning på rummet. Ett trevligt inslag var att en dagens middagsmeny ( många rätter att välja på) låg på sängen när vi återkom till rummet under dagen, så att man kunde ta ställning till om man ville äta middag på hotellet eller välja på att gå ut och äta. Vi valde att äta middag på hotellet en kväll och det var väldigt gott. Det var underhållning några kvällar på hotellet, men vi var inne i Sorrento de kvällarna.Vi var tyvärr där "bara" en vecka, jag skulle nog välja 10 dagar som minimum idag. Vi låg vid poolen varannan dag och gjorde utflykter de andra dagarna till Capri och Pompei och sista dagen till Rom efter frukosten. Vid poolen fanns gott om solstolar för att ligga och läsa sommarens valda pocketböcker, mellan härliga apelsin- och grapefruktträd. "fint hotel med alt man behøver"
Hotel Alpha er et fint hotel med en dejlig swimmingpool servicen er god og placeringen er centralt i st agnello tæt på tog og bus. Eneste ulemper et at man skal betale for at bruge stranden som er meget dyr

"Beliggenhed ikke optimal"
Hotellet ganske udmærket, men lidt lagt til vandet,meget støj fra gaden. Vi havde halvpension. Maden og menukortet rigtig godt. Serveringen for stressende og dårlig rådgivning om menuen.
