Well, hotel looks nice only from outside and pool area - that's all. My room ''RIYA'' at night was very dark, very uncomfortable beds - felt like slept on wood or something hard. Bathroom was Ok. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard and restaurant however the waiters were pushy and it just made things uncomfortable. We felt guilty for not ordering alcohol and they seemed annoyed by it, it made dinners awkward. For breakfast they went around with a tray of juice and offered it to the guests, they don't tell you it costs - they just present you […] with a bill about 2 seconds later. Our room had a permanent leaking bathroom floor and was noisy. You could hear chairs being dragged constantly. Also there was only one bath robe for the first night. Some kid always wants to come in and check the mini bar regardless of if you are there and in the middle of something. Most of the buffet food was cold and the fruit and veggies unwashed. Alp Pasa is a very good looking hotel, with lovely outdoor area for dining around a swimming pool. We were allocated a really nice room which I was very happy with - the cleaners were very efficient each day in giving the room a spruce up! Overall I thought the price I paid for the room and half board was excellent value given the quality of the hotel […] and the prime location in the lovely Old Town - it is by far in the best area of Antalya (in the historic and picturesque Old Town, close to the waterfront and easy to get to the main beach). Despite normally a 2pm check in time, we were given our room at 11.30 as we had taken an overnight bus from Cappadocia which meant we were already at the hotel by 8.00am - this was much appreciated as it gave us time to unwind and also spend half a day at the beach! The only negative thing I would say is that drinks prices are a bit on the expensive side but because the rest is such good value, it still works out a good deal! We enjoyed our stay very much- we had a lovely large room in an annex with lots of unevenly spaced creaky wooden stairs up to it- so much fitter now ! Splendid bathroom with super shower and jacuzzi. Food in restaurant good especially the grill food- a new dish each day ,lots of salads, hot food choices in caseroles etc. However wine, water beer in restaurant much too expensive compared to nice local bars around . Watery juice at breakfast tastes like squash- fresh juice was extra about £3- £4 per glass. Oranges grow here and are so cheap! Rather an unpleasant note in the room not to put your own bottle bought water etc in the mini bar fridge for hygiene reasons(?!). The mini bar contents were the same expensive prices as restauant- water even was equivalent of over a pound for a very small bottle- you need to drink lots of water 'cos of the heat. The service was not good. We arrived to be told our room had only been booked for 2 adults and no child. Even though I had a copy of the booking confirmation they were trying to say it was our issue not theirs and we wouldhave to pay more. I refused and it wasn't pursued and we were given a nice room. The pool was very small and claustrophobic as there […] were only a few loungers which were moved at night to make way for tables. We never used the pool as the loungers were always full. We stayed 6 nights in March 2012 and were very pleased. Our initial room was right off the pool/dining area and lacked privacy. We requested to be moved and the staff happily accomodated the request. The replacement room was far beyond our expectations with a beautiful veranda, a king bed and Jacuzzi tub. The buildings were renovated in the late 1990s […] so no two rooms are alike. I chose this hotel because of the average to good ratings it has on the different travel sites. Now, I don't know if anything changed with the hotel recently or whether I was simply unlucky, but I had an exceptionally bad experience. Just to put it in context: I stayed in three hotels in Antalya during my trip. Two of them I can highly recommend, but […] the Alp Pasa was just terrible. Let me start with a summary of the good. The hotel looks nice from outside nestled into the charming neighborhood of Antalya's old town Kaleici. The breakfast was decent, though the breakfast in the other hotels was better, e.g. no fresh juices, almost no fresh fruits. Now the bad. First of all the room, I decided for a nicer "superior" room with a Jacuzzi for me and my girlfriend. But the room looked like a hostel room (very different from the rooms shown on the Alp Pasa webpage), with walls and cheap built-in closets painted in the same ugly greenish color. The combination with the tiled floor (and no carpets) gave the room a hospital-like feeling. The room had "garden-view", which translated to three small windows facing the hallway and there in particular a smoker's corner and a cutout box, both frequently visited (don't ask me what the stuff was doing in the cutout box). The bathroom had no windows at all, but the promised Jacuzzi: the smallest possible Jacuzzi tub fit under the slope of a staircase. I used it only for shower which I had to take sitting (due to the slope I couldn't stand), hearing the people walking up and down the staircase. The room was clean besides the cockroach I killed in the first night. As bad as the experience with the room was my experience with the stuff. I asked to change the room. The reply was that the only possibility is to take the (I-don't-remember-the-name)-suite for 500EUR/night. Perhaps at that point they were already mad with me because of my girlfriend. We had a hard time finding this hotel in our rental car and probably spent about 30 minutes within 1/2 mile of the place (which would have been hours were it not for the intervention of some helpful locals). Once we did find it, we wondered if we were in the wrong place--it seemed far too nice for the rate we had paid! We were given a beautiful room […] (the Sultan Ahmet suite) which was spacious, well-decorated and had a delightful jacuzzi tub. My only gripe was that the overhead light did not work in the bedroom, and the only alternative was a much smaller room. It was worth being in the dark--when we woke up we had a lovely shared patio outside overlooking the pool/courtyard. Breakfast was wonderful and had a variety of cold and hot dishes (including some things that are not available in every buffet). The servers and staff were friendly and charming and breezed from table to table easily conversing in several languages. This seemed to be a popular stop for high-quality package tours. However, one night my partner and I wanted to cook some fish that we caught on the stove in our room. WIFI stopped working on the 2nd day (they have 2 available connections, for one they didn't provide the correct password and never did. For the other the pasword was correct). Ordered special deluxe dobbeltroom and it was exstrem small. Nothing like the pictures and no balcony. There is not wireless internet in the rooms and the windows where left open in my room several times after cleaning and the room was on groundfloor out to public area. Otherwise it was very nice. Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt und besticht durch seinen Flaire. Unser Zimmer war ordentlich und groß. Die hygienischen Zustände waren absolut akzeptabel. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker, Vorsicht sei aber geboten wenn z.B. frisch gepresster Orangensaft angeboten wird, der kostet nämlich extra, was einem vorher nicht gesagt wird. Eine […] sehr nette und hilfsbereite, deutschsprachige Rezeptionistin war vor Ort. Bei den anderen Damen anderen Rezeption muss man damit rechnen, dass diese weder Deutsch noch Englisch beherrschen, was zu Missverständnissen führen kann. Beim Checkout sollte man seine Bons für zusätzliche Getränke dabei haben, da wir uns bei der Abschlussrechnung doch eher wie auf einem Basar vorkamen. Da wurde zunächst ein Preis genannt, der wie aus der Luft gegriffen schien, nach einer kurzen Anmerkung, das dies nicht stimmen kann, wurde dann umgehend der korrekte Preis genannt. Nach dem Motto, wir versuchen einfach nochmal eine paar Euro rauszuschlagen, vielleicht bemerken die Touristen ja nichts. Fantastisk atmosfære på hotellet. Resepsjonen var døgnbemannet med språkmektige, serviceinnstilte ansatte. Rommet var litt gammeldags i ottomansk stil, med havutsikt fra balkongen og velfungerende boblebad. Rengjøring og skifte av håndklær daglig. Bestilte kun frokost inkludert i oppholdet, og den var kanskje ikke så variert, men god. Ikke nødvendig […] å bestille fullpensjon, siden det er så mange restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet. Hotellet ligger i gangavstand til det meste, og vi fikk lite bruk for taxi. Hotellet både ser og oppleves som eksotisk, både med selve stilen det holder, og ved at mye av arealet som trappeoppganger, grillkjøkken, baseng, bar osv er helt, eller delvis under åpen himmel. Standarden på rommene er nokså spartansk, så langt jeg har sett. Vi hadde et såkalt deluxe rom, og rommet hadde boblebad, og fjernstyrt klimaanlegg. Det er […] safer på romene, men disse er det en døgnleie for. Sengen var veldig fast, men det satte jeg selv pris på. De engelskspråklige ferdighetene til de ansatte var veldig begrensede. Rensligheten på rommet var ikke så veldig bra innledningsvis. Gulvet var ikke bra støvsugd, men toalettet og resten av badet vil jeg tro var veldig rent siden det var sterk lukt av klorin den første dagen. Badet var i seg selv sjarmerende. Gulv, baderommsinnredingen, og vegger var av stein, Marmor? Men inntrykket ble noe sjenert av slurvette fuger mellom steinene. Dette på både innredningen og på vegger, og rundt boblebadet. Det ble informert om at vårt rom ville ha egen veranda, men dette var ikke tilfelle. Nærområdet var veldig flott, og rent. Og det varbutikker, kiosker, resturanter i fleng i området. Det er også både dedikerte taxier og byrå som organiserer turer til severdigheter innen 200 meter fra hotellet til steder som Perge, Olympos og mange andre. Trevligt hotel som ligger nära city. Servicen är god och personalen hjälpsamma. Frukosten är utmärkt med olika lokala rätter samt mycket grönsaker. Hotellet är rent, det finns massor av sittplaster i olka öppna rum samt ett utomhus museum inuti själva hotellet. Die Lage in der Altstadt von Antalya ist sehr gut. Ebenfalls sehr gut war, dass ein Hotelangestellter uns in den Gassen der Altstadt entgegenkam, um unser Auto nahe des Hotels zu parken - was angesichts der engen Gassen mit vielen Touristen schwierig zu finden gewesen war. An der Einrichtung und Sauberkeit des Zimmers kann man nichts aussetzen. Was […] uns nicht gefallen hat, war eine in unmittelbarer Nähe unseres Zimmers (im zweiten Stock) permanent laufenden Luftkühlanlage, was vor allem nachts sehr laut war. Zudem war das Rezeptionspersonal nicht sonderlich freundlich. Bei unserer Ankunft wurde uns auf unsere Frage, welchen Weg wir am kommenden morgen zum Flughafen nehmen müssten, selbiger (ungefragt) auf einem Stadtplan eingezeichnet. Beim Auschecken am nächsten morgen hieß es dann, wir müssten den Stadtplan noch bezahlen. Nun ist der Betrag zwar nicht der Rede wert, aber das Verhalten eben nicht als "sehr gut" oder "ausgezeichnet" zu werten. Schließlich lag der Preis für das Zimmer auch durchaus auf westeuropäischem Niveau. Als wir beim sehr frühen Auschecken am nächsten Morgen den Autoschlüssel abholen mussten, mussten wir erst einmal ungefähr zehn Minuten den "Dienst habenden" Rezeptionisten suchen. Schließlich ist direkt im Eingangsbereich inmitten der eng angeordneten Esstische ein Pool gelegen, der auch genutzt wurde. Da mag man geteilter Meinung sein - wir fanden es nicht so toll. Da vedersi l'hotel è veramente bello, ma solo per chi resta fuori. Le camere sono piccole, da notarsi che avevamo in teoria una camera luxury. Il cibo era comparabile a quello di una mensa dell'ospedale, e non vi era attenzione per la colazione degli italiani. Più volte abbiamo trovato scarafaggi vicino al buffet, sempre scoperto. A parte pochi addetti […] la maggior parte era notevolmente sgarbata, a tal punto che arrivavano a deridere gli errori di chi non parlava bene l'inglese. La nostra camera ha avuto anche problemi infatti ha avuto un black out che hanno risolto in 2 giorni creandoci notevoli disagi e senza né scusarsi né offrirci un piccolo rimborso o qualche surrogato, anzi sembravano quasi seccati come se il problema fosse causato da noi, e hanno provato ad offrirci una camera singola (noi eravamo in 2) per i restanti 15 giorni di permanenza! L'hotel in realtà cade un po' a pezzi, addirittura sono cadute due tegole di legno di cui una a sfiorato una signora sdraiata sul lettino, se l'avesse presa chi lo sa cosa sarebbe successo, anche uno scalino di legno della scala principale si è rotto arrecando danni a chi stava salendo e potenziali danni a chi stava sotto. Le camere inoltre non hanno tende scure ne persiane o tapparelle vi è solo una tenda bianca inutile per chi vorrebbe dormire con un po' di buio.
