This hotel delivered in every aspect. Very cool design from the great bar, where you also check in. Perfect. Excellent breakfast, reasonable prices at the bar & friendly staff. 20 minutes walk to center located in a nice neighborhood. Room was a great size, great bed & shower. Based on the reviews, I took a chance and booked into Pentahotel in Vienna and it totally lived up to my expectations and beyond for a 4-Star hotel. Great service from the very start and a beautiful, chic hotel with excellent food. Nice area about a 15 - 20 minute walk from downtown and close to the subway as well. Intrusive music in lobby and elevators. Hardly any staff over 25 years old. Breakfast selection sugar, sugar and more sugar (not even natural yoghurt) and no whole meal bread. Silly design features. Reception desk is combined with the bar; you may have to wait for bar guests to get their drinks before you can be attended by the receptionist. Otherwise […] the hotel was clean and reasonably well situated, close to communications. Very comfortable beds but the room was combined with the toilet, wich made you feel as if you had no privacy. Pentahotel was a perfect choice for our 4 night stay in Vienna. We received a warm welcome in the funky bar/reception area. Room was spotless, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and fabulous shower. The hotel is less than 5 mins walk to Pilgrimasse metro stop, from here you can be in city centre in 5 mins and Schonbrunn is four stops the other direction. […] Would definitely recommend this hotel, and will stay there again. Loved the hotel! The staff were amazing. We stayed here over New Years and we are already ready to go back. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to a metro stop that will take you directly into the city. We enjoyed the neighborhood around the hotel and found some delicious authentic Austrian restaurants to eat at - you must try Zum Strogger! Hubbie and I stayed here for 3 nights, just before Xmas. An excellent all-round experience! Very relaxed, chilled out atmosphere, extremely helpful staff ,a room that was very well appointed and QUIET. We were very impressed and will definitely stay here again. What an amazing hotel, when you enter the Bar is the reception desk and what a fantastic idea. The Hotel is so contemporary which we loved. The rooms were lovely the only thing we would say it was a little hot even with the air conditioning, but we did open the windows which was a little noisy from the traffic, but overall what an amazing hotel. The hotel is situated about a 15 minute walk to the City which was nice as you could see a little bit of Vienna on the way to the Town Centre. Very nice hotel friendly staff. Nice rooms with big comfy beds. Not too far from centre and very close underground so very easy to get to. Reception is part of the bar. Dinner was very good as well

This place has recently been redesigned/redecorated and is quite funky in design. Everything is very clean, quiet, comfortable, well sized and pleasant. The shower was quite good even though it states bath only and the room had underfloor heating and air-con. We stayed for 3 nights at a very good price comparatively and if visiting Vienna again wouldn't […] hesitate to choose the same hotel. The location on the map seems away from "the action" but it's 2 stops on the uber-efficient underground train which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel (my wife has arthritis so thats not even a fast walk) - along that route there are cake shops, a chemist, a couple of bars, an off-licence, etc. so it's not a bad walk. The tube runs every 5 minutes till 12:30am every night and drops you right in the heart of the city, or right next to the fantastic concert houses, or right on the Danube - wherever you want. Get a 3-day tube pass from the CAT station at the airport, easy as pie. The reception and ground floor of the hotel is actually a well styled bar, though a quiet one. It has a good range of drinks at sensible prices and seems to be 24/7 for guests. Free pool table too. I'm trying to find a fault for this hotel for this review and to be honest I'm struggling, the bed was too big - does that count as a flaw?! The view from the window was dull - but who cares when Vienna's centre is so picturesque. No tea and coffee facilities in the room - not unusual for Europe, just order one from the bar. Very nice, different hotel. Excellent breakfast. Nice rooms, a bit small thoug. Reception and cocktail bar in the same, so sometimes it takes a bit too long time to check in/out. Staff very friendly.

Great design hotel! Relaxing atmosphere , we had breakfast forever great food and music. No kids at all just adults which made it even more relaxing. The hotel is just something special when it comes to design, everything is so cool! Internet wireless in room for a small extra charge or use in the lounge for free. We would love to come back here!

It was a little like being in the movie Cabarret. The hotel had the feel of art deco 1930's. The reception desk is the bar. Strange but effective. The staff was young, competent and very helpful. The hotel itself is fairly new and clean. As usual with European hotels the beds are toooo hard. All in all a very good deal

Great location, city center easily accessable, close to Naschmarkt, stylish hotel. comfortable rooms, good value for money.

This hotel is chic and modern. Our room was very comfortable and we had a very pleasant stay. It only takes a 5 min walk to the closest metro station and only 20 mins away from major sights (Stephansdom, Karlsplatz etc). I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Location is not perfect and the fact that there is a Bar instead of a Reception desk is quite different to say the least. Room was ok.

The Pentahotel is ideally located near a tube station in an up and coming area of Vienna. 5 Min walk to tube then a ten min journey to the centre. Hotel itself is very glitzy! The bar area is fabulous and seems to draw a few guests in in the evening. We ate there and te portions were huge, at a fair price. However, we did experience the worst mojito […] ever made. The rooms are clean and stylish but could do with being a little bit bigger. We found there was not enough floor space to lay our cases out properly to open them. The air conditioning and black-out drapes were fantastic. The bathroom was great - I liked the rainfall shower head particularly. All in all a very good experience and no real complaints. I would stay here again. One more thing about the area - it's got very little in the way of resteraunts but there are a few trendy grunge bars around packed with locals. Pentahotel in Vienna is located strategically close to major attractions and still is in quite neighborhood. It is very cozy while still clean and neat. It has a nice lobby including a bar as well as great value breakfast area. We liked it and would come there again.

Although our stay in Vienna was brief, we loved this hotel and would come back to it! The staff were very friendly and the room was excellent. It was only a 20 minute walk from the Opera area and the metro line was literally just 5 mins away if too tired to walk!!

Wow! What a surprise! This hotel was awesome. Not only was it modern it was very clean. You could spend all day in this hotel because it has a full restaurant, bar, and lounge. The staff was amazing. We had such a great time and will definetly stay there on our next trip to Vienna!

Great hotel. all was good , service , confort, . Important sightseeing were far at walking distance but Metro was just 200 meters away.

I usually never write reviews but I felt in this case I had to. We loved this place, it is very relaxed, good rates, good location (15 minute walk to Centrum) and super friendly staff. You walk in and registration is at the bar, need I say more? It is elegant, chick, modern, cozy, eclectic and very appealing. Awesome breakfast, nice rooms, loved the […] décor, check out the elevator floors! we would definitely recommend it and next time we are in Vienna, we know where to stay. Best of all was the friendly staff, always with a smile, very helpful and one lady in particular went above and beyond to help us with a traffic ticket (never park on the streets in Vienna), I am not going to say what she did, but she turned a bad thing into a good thing and that is commendable. Staid there for 1 night and can highly recommend hotel. Cool design and friendly stuff.

I absolutely loved this hotel. I would stay here again in a second. It's not your typical hotel in that it's very artistic and stylish. The reception is also a bar. The people, the food, the room, all was wonderful. Just walking in after a long walk put a smile on my face. Highly recommended.

Der Service im Hotel war jederzeit sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Atmosphäre im schön eingerichteten Hotel ist sehr entspannt. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen.

Et super lækkert hotel med 5 min afstand til u-banen Man føler sig godt tilpas og meget velkommen. Dejlig værelser i moderne stil især rainshower er en lækker oplevelse. Der er ikke meget gadestøj. Man spiser godt til morgenmad og fint aftensmad. Man nyder de flotte og lækre rammer i gæsteområdet.

Pentahotell ligger ca.15 minutter å gå fra Karlsplatz, for oss var ikke dette et problem. Hotellet ligger rolig til, har generelt høy standard. gode senger og hyggelige ansatte. Interiøret er stilig og restauranten har god mat (men svært dyr frokost). De har også en hotellbar som er verdt besøket alene. Drinkene er gode og de har et biljardbord som […] vi spilte mye på. Alt i alt er vi svært fornøyde med hotellet og vil definitivt bo der igjen om vi drar tilbake. Bien situé la station Pilgramgasse est à 5 mn à pied,sur Margaretstrasse de nombreux restaurants(Bamboo all you can eat,indien,italien etc..),très propre,lit super king size,déco originale.

Die Lage ist ganz ok, man braucht nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß bis zur nächsten U-Bahn. Was mich jedoch gestört hat war, dass unsere Betten nach der ersten Nacht nicht mehr schön gemacht wurden und als wir am Abend einen […] Cocktail trinken gingen, mussten wir zuerst 15Minuten warten,bis uns endlich jemand bedient hat,das Personal war total überfordert.
