Had a one bedroom suite and it was very nice, upgraded and clean, standard rooms are just that standard but for the price, get the suite, with a strip view, you won't regret it

Clerk at check in could have been more helpful and freindly. He made it seem as we were a bother to him. The stay and hotel area was great. The attiude of the check in clerk was the only bad experiance that would make me think about staying there again.

Very nice place, anything we needed or wanted was right there in the hotel, great selection of dinning venues and places to relax and have a cocktail.

The room was nice and we like how it is off the strip adn has the theater and bowling. It is rather annoying now that they have a mandatory resort fee of $14.95. So go ahead and plan an additional $15 on top of your room cost that you won't see until you check in.

It is a bit of a distance from the strip, but that didn't matter. Who needs 50 casinos and hotels when you can get it all in one place? In the triple digit heat I prefer to stay indoors, not walk on the strip. I liked that it seemed a little less crowded than some other hotels in Vegas. The room was well maintained, except that the TV never worked and a problem with the shower head, and it was clean. Compare to the room rates, the room is worth paying for that rate. it was Over all, it was ok. I will recoomend this hotelt o my family and friends. Thanks for the opportunity to respond.

My wife and I flew into Las Vegas, rented a car, and stayed the night before heading to Los Angeles in the morning. We purposely wanted to stay OFF the Strip to get an early night and an early morning start. The South Point Hotel met our needs exactly. Everything was very good. The only minor complaint we had was the bed, it wasn't as comfortable as we expected. It was too firm and the waterproof lining made it very uncomfortable to sleep on.

We enjoyed our stopover at South Point. The location next to I-15 made for an easy off-on for the freeway. The variety of restaurants made meals convenient and stress free. The free covered parking allowed us to keep our vehicle out of the sun.

This is our third visit to this hotel in several years and really enjoy this property. We arrived at 3:15 and we're told our room wasn't ready and that it would be ready in 45-minutes. A Russian cocktail waitress was rude; telling us she gave away our drinks because we moved to a different machine and she didn't see us. We were only a few aisles away […] when she returned with drinks and didn't have ours. Cocktail waitresses do not take orders from patrons frequently enough. We notice they would come by once every two to three hours, which is unacceptable. Smoking rooms have extremely poor ventilation. It's like smoking in your car with the windows up. It's a good value - the $14 resort fee includes your wifi, which was solid in the room. You're essentially forced to use the bell hop, so bring some cash for tipping. The breakfast buffet (if you get the casino Club Card) is an excellent value. The view is a bit uninspiring, but the room was very, very comfortable.

The hotel was ok. I thought , for the price it would be fine. At check in, they informed me, that there is now a resort fee. Let me say this clearly. THIS HOTEL IS NOT A RESORT!

Check-in was a breeze!..Rebecca was polite professional and fast. Didnt come to gamble...picking up a friend at the airport before the drive back to L.A. but when I return. And I Will... I will stay at South Pointe. The thing I liked best was the clean smell walking through the casino. It didnt smell like an old ashtray. How come one of the potions isn't bowling? Couldn't eat at cafe the smell from the horses was the worst I have smelled. I have been there many times before when there where horse events and this time it was bad..saw dust all over the halls ways and the smell was the worst

Nice big rooms with great amenities. The addition of the resort fee is a bit of a downer however if you plan to use the weight room (which comes with the resort fee) you will be singing its praises. Well worth the fee, and you get internet as well. I love this hotel. Never disappoints.

Let me start off by stating I go to vegas 3-6 times a year, I am familiar with the city and I love it. It wasn't my first stay at southpoint, my first trip much like this one was just because we wanted to add an extra night on to our trip at the last minute. The first time we stayed, we had a great room awesome view great service and no complaints. […] However this time, we checked in hardly recieved a hello or any chatter from the front desk girl. Made our way up to the room on a low floor which wasnt a big deal but the room wasnt very clean. The trash can was full and the bathroom, well lets just say you could tell it had been used. SP has become a very smokey casino and I point this out because I am a smoker and it actually bothered me it was so thick. The point of my review is if you plan on only staying within SP its a perfect hotel but after a taxi ride to and from the strip you are better off booking a room at luxor or excalibur because the cab fare will close the difference in cost. Myself and my vegas "crew" have decided that was last time we would stay at SP. Its just too far off the strip and the service just isnt quite as friendly as it use to be. But if you want a solid hotel for the family this is perfect for avoiding any issues the strip might cause for you. Διαβάστε περισσότερα

I love everything about this hotel. I especially the watching the barrel racing and the gun show. We also went to Gary Puckett and it was great not having to leave the hotel. We did not want to be on the strip and this was perfect. We will be back.

the beds were very comfy :) and the room was very big. will definatelly stay here again. not to mention i only paid 160 for 3 nights! great deal compared to other hotels. Also, its not far from the strip, and fyi, its better to drive back and for to the strip then getting a cab. save yourself 60 for the cab ride there and back and just take your car. […] its free to park on the hotels on the strip. getting a taxi is a hassel there, especially if your already on your feet walking the strip, you would still need to wait another 20+ min waiting for a cab instead of just hopping in your car whenever youd feel like it and driving back. ***Buffet wasnt good at the southpoint. its better to eat somewhere else if possible. and pull was nice, i just wish it was a little deeper*** Διαβάστε περισσότερα

great hotel, nice location ..easy to find..you Really need a Car..but shuttle and taxis are everywere.Should have a little more ventlation in casino..it was very smokey...but best room, great bed...we will definetly stay again!
