Grand Hotel Tettuccio - Montecatini Terme (πόλη μΕ ιΑμΑτικά λουτρά)

This hotel was located in an excellent place in Montecatini Terme just across the thermal baths and the park and 5 minutes walking distance to the city center and the shops. The train station is also very close which is very convenient if you want to visit Florence or Pisa in a day trip by train without having to take your car. The hotel was in very […] good condition; rooms are clean, spacey and lovely and offered parking area for the car which is locked during nights though not secured. I didn’t feel that my car was in any danger at all inside the parking. The only bad point is the breakfast. This was not a 4 star hotel breakfast! Very basic, juices were not fresh and really bad, coffee was from automatic machine, nothing to do with the Italian good cappuccino, and bread was too hard. The Grand Hotel Tettucci is indeed grand, and it is in a lovely, but hard-to-get-to location. The pedestrian area and warren of one-way streets confused our car's navigation system. We expected a room with two twin beds, as confirmed, but found a king-size bed. Quick maid service transformed the room into our required twin room. The hotel is a magnet […] for tour groups and we found the lack of soundproofing to be a strong negative. Our room faced the back parking lot (free!), the next-door hotel's pool (wish we had one) and trash receptacles. You could set your watch by the nightly dumping of bottles! We were promised robes; there were no robes. We were provided with a coffee pot, cups wrapped in cellophane and tied with a jaunty bow but, alas, no coffee packets, cream or sugar. The towels were abundant, but thin and not too absorbent. The hair dryer was useless. The breakfast buffet was adequate. And, why, in this Internet era, were we charged 3 euros a day for wi fi with an annoying change of user name and password every day? Come on, folks, make it free and easy to use, please. Grand Hotel Tettuccio is situated in calm and clear area, acros the park. Rooms are clear, and bathrooms large. Employes in the Hotel are very kind. Hotel has big and free parking area. Train station is close (4-5 min. by walk).

We booked out of season and received very good rates. Room adequate, and breakfst good. Staff friendly. Car parking at back. I know the area very well but have never stayed in MT itself. The hotel is located in the perfect spot to walk the town and enjoy the spas, cafes, shops and parks. Also a short walk to the station can take you beyond very easily. […] The hotel interiors need updating, but having said that I was sorry not to see pictures/ photographs of its past, which I have heard is long and interesting. Memories of Italian resort life of the 1800's are everywhere in this hotel. Bathroom was clean, sheets were soft, room was light and airy. Breakfast was plentiful. Perfect location for jogging in the park or going to one of the thermal spas. Free overnight parking was a bonus!

If you can get past the faded appearance of the property and the light bulbs in the room which hardly illuminate anything, you will enjoy the prime location. It's right across from the park and the spas, and comes with free parking and a decent breakfast. It's not a real 4 star hotel, but for the great price, everything can easily be overlooked.

Very good hotel in a good location, many restaurants within easy walking distance. Very helpful staff. Breakfast basic but more than adequate. Free car park which is great when you have a hire car. We will stay there again.

отличное месторасположение через дорогу от термальных источников. Ванная комната маловата с учетом действия термальных вод приходилось пользоваться общественными местами. Завтрак отличный длят4*.,но только до 10 утра, Очень понравился сам городок.Красивый,романтичный. Вода из источников работает!!!

leider konnten wir nur eine Nacht in dem stilvollen Hotel bleiben. Sowohl das Dinner als auch der Service waren zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Besonders freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Hervorragendes Frühstücksbuffet!

Der Flair des älteren italienischen Hotels hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Hotel liegt zentral, ruhig und ist mit Bus und Bahn gut zu erreichen. An der Rezeption wird deutsch gesprochen. Das Frühstücksbüfett ist für ein vier Sterne Haus etwas einfach aber ausreichend.

Ottima posizione, belli gli ambienti comuni, piccola la tripla assegnata, staff gentile e disponibile. Buona colazione.

Il s'agit d'un très bel hôtel, pittoresque. Le personnel a été très serviable et les chambres sont confortables. Nous avons été ravis des prestations. Nous le recommandons vivement et espérons un jour pouvoir y retourner.

Sehr ruhiges Hotel mit zuvorkommenden Personal. Eigener Parkplatz., reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Jeder Zeit wieder.

This is a medium-level hotel with Top-level claims. Free parking lots are limited inside the hotel, if you reach the hotel in busy period or at night, the only choice is to park outside, and you need to pay the parking slot if you don't want to get fined (at the reception they have 3€ tickets for 24h). The internet connection isn't free, that seems […] unacceptable even for a low-level modern hotel. 30mins of connection will cost 2.50€. We were in a triple room (double room with an additional small and unstable bed), during the night the room (at the 5ft floor) heats up and there is no way to cool it down. Bathroom has no windows / fans and the shower, even if it has saloon-type doors leaks water from the bottom in the whole bathroom. Towels are not very well cleaned and white but, at last, room cleanliness seems accectable. Towels and sheets are changed every day. Meget slidt overalt. Alle flisefuger i brusekabinen var sorte af skimmelsvamp. Ingen balkon som lovet. Morgenmadsbuffet elendig. Tørt brød, kolde stenhårde æg, og ingen "lune" ting. Meget venligt personale. Daglig rengøring på værelset perfekt, bortset fra at kampen mod de sorte fuger i brusekabinen for længst var opgivet. Meget lille værelse. Gode […] P-forhold. Dit hotel draagt nog de sporen van een glorieuze tijd, toen mensen nog gingen 'kuren' in een kuuroord. Hotel is heel groot opgezet; te groot voor de huidige tijd. Over het algemeen is het oordeel positief -er is ook airco- maar negetief wat betreft het ontbijt: heel weinig soorten broodbeleg; weinig soorten brood en je komt dan al gauw uit op de zg. […] 'cereals' als muesli met yoghurt e.d. Gaat wel heel snel vervelen. Ontbijt moet echt beter. We ontbeten deze vakantie ook in de Riegelerhof in Riegen (Zuid-Duitsland, aan de E35, en daar was het ontbijt superieur van kwaliteit voor slechts 5 Euro p.p. met bijv. een uitgebreid fruitbuffet. Heerlijke plek om te vertoeven, uistekend prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding, central tov Pisa/Florence/Luca en de kust, mooie grote kamers!

Hotellets placering er perfekt i forhold til den meget store park midt i byen og tæt på "promenade-gaden". Værelset var yderst tilfredsstillende, morgenmaden en smule kedelig. Betjeningen var professionel og venlig.

Lite rum men mycket frächt trots avsaknaden av utsikt från hotellfönstret. Städning mycket bra. Bra läge i Montecatina med 3 min gångavstånd till Turistinformationen, 5 min till Piazzan och 7 min till bergbanan upp till Montecatini Alto. Bra hotellaltan med utsikt över promenadstråket i Montecatini. Bra och trevlig personal. Frukosten lämnar en del […] att önska såvida man inte vill äta kakor till frukost, bröd och pålägg finns men få sorter. Bra parkering på baksidan men med många gäster så blir den snabbt full. Ok hotell med stort flott, rent rom. Eneste savnet var basseng.

Hotellet er ganske udmærket og ligger perfekt placeret, hvis man vil benytte sig af byens butikker og kursteder. Værelset var almindelig hotelstørrelse og sengen udmærket. Morgenmaden er typisk italiensk, hvilket vil sige, altså ikke prangende, men helt fin.
