I checked in at 5 o clock and then I when in the room at 12:30 evening. The hotel and the room was nice, in a good area near the metro. But the room was cold (outside temperature -5), and we couldn’t get it really warm, even after I tuned on the heating on max. Then me and my girlfriend wanted to have a shower at 1:30 in the evening and the water was […] not hot! Finally I caught a cold and didn’t enjoy a nice hot shower.. Οτι καλύτερο πραγματικά δεν έχω λόγια. Το ξενοδοχείο άψογο, το προσωπικό χαλί να τους πατήσεις, τομετρό 10. Πραγματικά το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα, ήταν καλύτερο απο ένα 5* που έμεινα στο πεκίνο!!!

Good service provided during my stay with the hotel. Distance to shopping mall (WFJ) is approximately 12 min walk. Alternatively, take the train which is one stop away; the train station is like 3 mins walk away. Small shops and restaurant around the hotel.

Hotel is in a really convenient spot close to the Forbidden city and Wangfujing shopping district. A metro station is also close by. We were travelling in a small group and took the "happy hour and breakfast" extras which turned out to be excellent value and a nice place to meet.

I cannot recommend the Park Plaza enough, we stayed for 12 nights. Location is great, very close to Wangfujing Street for shopping and Forbidden City & Tiannanmen Square. The rooms are of great quality, spacious and are serviced twice daily, whilst being very well priced. We made good use of the gym each day which was well stocked with bottled water […] and clean workout towels. Whilst the hotel does not have a pool, for a minimal fee you are able to use the Regent Hotel's pool, located behind the Park Plaza. What was a stand out is the lengths that the hotel staff will go to to help you out. Housekeeping is very responsive and brought up a tape measure (don't ask!) within minutes of the request. During our travels we were victim to being ripped off by a traditional chinese medicine 'clinic'. The hotel manager personally organised the concierge team, the security team and the police to resolve the matter for us. End result: we got all our money back. we started our asia adventure off in beijing. stayed in beijing for 2 nights, 3 days. This hotel was great! It was clean, sleek, great staff! We had breakfast included in our stay and we really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. It had a lot of international choices. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel staff is friendly and all speak some English, far more than at most hotels. Staff were helpful, but there were several attempts to up-sell me. Club floor with Happy Hour additional $50 a night, limo to the airport instead of Taxi, $80 vs. $14. Taxi instead of subway...Other reviewers recommended the club upgrade, but if you don't drink, or only […] drink beer, it isn't worth it. The appetizers were excellent, but there is a lot of great inexpensive food and beer in the area. The "health club" is a small room that didn't even have a full set of weights, and only two machines. We were spending the weekend in Beijing. The location was great. The staff spoke very good English and was very helpful. We upgraded to include breakfast and happy hour. That was well worth it. Happy hour was a great time to have a drink and some appetizers and rest. Breakfast was great too.

We found our room very clean comfortable and had every toiletry we needed. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful . It was very close to subway. Hotel staff were very helpful organising trips.. We had club room which included breakfast and Happy Hour. This was brilliant value. We would definitely stay here again.

Having stayed at 5 other hotels in China throughout our stay we found the concierge to be the best here. Found us a taxi at peak hour when others gave up after 10 minutes. Made sure drivers knew where we were going and were always welcoming and polite. The bar was exceptional also with amazing staff.

I've stayed at over 10 hotels in Beijing over the past 4 years, and the Park Plaza Wangfujing was by far the best. It was important to me that the internet worked well, for Beijing this was a great connection. There was free wifi and ethernet in the room, and free wifi in the hotel. This hotel is hidden behind the Regent & hared to see/find. Very nice hotel in an area of other nice hotels. There is a subway station almost attached to the hotel so it is easy to get around. Forbidden City is about 20 min walk. Concierge can organize tours for you. Be advised that the tour may not end up showing you destination if traffic conditions […] force changes. everything in the hotel was perfect. The only problem was the heating system which was shut down due to the regulation. Hotel provided us with a small electric heater and extra blankets. The staff in general were very helpful and tried to faciliate everything. I highly recommend this hotel

Our first "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke and often the hallways smelled strongly of smoke. The fitness centre and pool cost 80RMB per day per person. Very misleading since they advertise a great fitness centre; there is a tiny gym only at the Park Plaza. The real centre is at a hotel next door. The American breakfast was good. Watch out for scams! […] There are a million of them - tea house, fake silk and products, counterfeit money, etc. Overall disappointed and the reviews are overrated. It was a pretty average hotel. Not sure were to start with this review, as everything has been said before. This was my first stay at a park plaza hotel and if they are all like this one well they must be superb. The staff right from getting out of the taxi all the way to check out the next day were first class in every way. Very polite and always there to help in any way that they […] could. I stayed on the top floor which is the club level, were they have the club lounge with free drinks and food between 5.30 and 7.30pm. this is great after a long walk around Beijing's shops, The breakfast has a large mix of food to cover most tastes from western to Asian. the only problem that I had, had nothing to do with the hotel itself but the taxi drivers seem to have trouble finding it. If your staying in Beijing for a couple of days at the hotel it is very easy to get to places from as Dengshikou subway station is just about one minutes walk from the hotel. For the very reasonable price, this hotel had all I needed - clean comfortable room and bathroom, free wi-fi in the room, courteous and helpful staff, excellent Asian and western buffet breakfast. The subway is just in front of the Regent which is just next door, and Starbucks is right outside. It is within walking distance to a lot of the sights such […] as Tian An Men Square, the Forbidden City, and NanLuoGuXiang (southern Bells and Drums Alley - well worth a visit to see a shopping mall built in 1297!). And of course it is just metres from Wangfujing, the night market and shopping alleys. The gym is very basic but for the price, this was not important. There is also a Chinese massage clinic with reasonable prices compared to the spas in the 5 star hotels. Even the bar prices were reasonable and I could have a light meal there - there is a happy hour too.
