A relaxing place with a character (as a former monastery), certainly far superior to the numerous other Sorrento hotels, apartment block like, of the same tourist category. Helpful personnel, ample common areas, fair breakfast, splendid surroundings, neat details, clean overall with modernized utilities. On the downside: bed-sheets have not been changed for five nights, rather poor room service (bed roughly laid), some problems with the common bathroom. Generally, I would not recommend rooms with a shared bathroom to future customers, especially during peak seasons.

Hotel Correra was a very pleasant surprise during our short stay in the chaotic, dirty but at the same time charming city of Naples! The location was perfect in order to see the main sites of the city. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was good enough. We definately recommend hotel Correra for every visitor of Naples.

This small town is wonderfully located over white steep cliffs and offers a fantastic view over the Bay of Naples. Typical products from Sorrento are produced with these Limoni: Limoncello, a very tasty lemon liqueur, lemon chocolate, colorful ceramic articles with lemon motives, or lemon soap. Or, try more than 70 different ice cream flavors at Gelateria Bougainvillea.

We stayed in La Vue D'Or for a week following a few days in Rome. The hotel was fantastic, just what we needed after 4 days intense sightseeing! The hotel is a little way out of Sorrento, but because of this has spectacular views and is really peaceful. It also has a lovely pool and sun terraces (with plenty of loungers!). The shuttle bus was great […] for taking us into town, and there's also a local service. Staff were also really friendly and although the restaurant wasn't spectacular the food was good, and it's very easy to get into Sorrento to eat anyway. All in all a definite recommendation! "Our only bad experience in Italy SKIP THIS HOTEL!"
I thought this hotel was somewhat near Sorento. No such luck. It costs 45 Euro by taxi to get here. I was so shocked that I mentioned it to Nino the manager and he went off on me saying I should have written him for bus information. He lectured me for ten minutes, then finally acknowledged that they don't tell people about how far the hotel is from […] town in order to book as many customers as possible, He endorsed this as good sales strategy. I had to politely excuse myself. No air conditioner until after 6pm,. Very, very expensive food with a sterile dining room. Pool is much too cold to swim in. Very limited hot water in the shower. "Views from on high"
The advantage of the hotel was its views, away from the crowds, had a great courtesy bus service to the centre of town. It would rate at 90% overall. The service at breakfast was ok. The signage to get there was very good despite travelling through many back streets in neighbouring suburbia. Well worth the experience.

"Vue D'or-Sorrento italy"
Hotel is set on a beautiful loacation and as it suggest it has a golden view with the vesuvias and bay of naples. There is a pool which is not in the sun so the water is a bit cold but still is an ok size pool and there is solarium as well. "Great Views"
This hotel was great value for money. It is set a little out of town up the hill, but there is a courtesy bus which is regular an free. However, this location gives the hotel a great panoramic view over Sorrento.
"Do not eat at this hotel"
The hotel was very nice, as well as the people who worked at the front desk, but I would NOT recommend the restaurant in the hotel. The food was terrible (pasta tasted like Chef Boyardee), and the hotel staff was even worse. They hovered like vultures waiting for guests to leave in the morning so they could clear the tables. When people are on vacation […] they don't want to feel rushed – especially in a place like Italy! Also, strange things like they would give you bread at the table, but if you wanted butter you had to get up and walk over to the buffet in the back. It was just odd. You would think that any restaurant that dresses its staff in black tie would provide the dining experience and the service to match (esp when they add a cover charge to eat there). "Up the mountain"
The Hotel is not really located in Sorrento, it is up on the Hill and has a beatifull view. a shuttle is available to the guests and operates frequently from/to Sorrento. We enjoyed our stay and liked the room. For dining you should consider the Pizza restaurant further down the hill, you can do takeout and the price seemed much better than from the […] Restaurant closer to the Hotel. "Take your walking shoes!!!"
The hotel was excellent, staff very friendly and always willing to assist with any problems. However, the website stated that the hotel is approx 1.2 miles away from the centre of Sorrento. It felt more like 12 miles. The hotel did provide a shuttle bus to take down to the centre and bring you back. The drive would be anything from 15minutes to 40minutes […] depending on traffic. "Stunning views across the bay of Naples"
Excellent location with stunning views across the Bay of Naples to Vesuvius. The pool and pool areas are well kept with similar views. The rooms are basic, but clean, lacking in drawer space. The breakfast is simple, but adequate. Would recommend B and B to enable visitors to sample the delightful restaurants in Sorrento. Staff friendly and helpful. "Bonne adresse"
Hotel très bien tenu, personnel très agréable. La chambre est très correcte et très propre, un petit balcon donne sur la mer ( chambre supérieure ). L'hotel se trouve assez loin de Sorrento mais un système de navette est en place. "Hotell La Vue Dor -"
Hotellet var helt OK men det ligger väldigt högt upp på berget, inte alls så nära centrum som anges på hotels.com. Eftersom vi reste med kompisar som bokat hotell nere i Sorrento blev det en tråkig överraskning att vi hamnade 5 km i från dem i stället för ett par hundra meter som kartan visade. Plus för gratis shuttle bus ner till Sorrento. Tyvärr gick […] den inte mitt på dagen och den sista gick hem kl 23:30. Taxi hem kostade 30-38 Euro. Hotellpersonalen var vänliga och hjälpsamma. Fin pool och en solterrass med fantastisk utsikt över Sorrento. Rummet var fräscht men ganska litet och lite dåligt planerat. Det fanns t ex ingen hylla för badrumssakerna, inga hängare för att torka badlakanen och ingen hylla i duschen att ställa schampo/balsam/tvål på. Hotelli sijaitsi upealla paikalla, rinteessa melko pitkän matkan päässä keskustasat. Hotellista kuljetus keskustaan ja takaisin joka helpotti huomattavasti liikkumista. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ,siisti hotelli . Aamiainen Ok. Hintalaatu suhde oikea.

Pas de minibar, clim défectueuse dans la chambre mais terrasse avec vue sur la mer. Navette gratuite à tous les heures. Piscine propre, petit déjeuner correct. Un bon hôtel.

Hvis man ønsker fred og ro væk fra det pulserende bymiljø er´ La Vue D Or der ligger i en højde af 800m over havet med en fantastisk udsigt et godt bud. Der er fin offentligt busforbindelse ned ad bjerget, samt gratis hotel shuttlebus. Spisekort ok til ok priser. Der er masser af gode spisesteder i Sorrento.
