A relaxing place with a character (as a former monastery), certainly far superior to the numerous other Sorrento hotels, apartment block like, of the same tourist category. Helpful personnel, ample common areas, fair breakfast, splendid surroundings, neat details, clean overall with modernized utilities. On the downside: bed-sheets have not been changed for five nights, rather poor room service (bed roughly laid), some problems with the common bathroom. Generally, I would not recommend rooms with a shared bathroom to future customers, especially during peak seasons.

Hotel Correra was a very pleasant surprise during our short stay in the chaotic, dirty but at the same time charming city of Naples! The location was perfect in order to see the main sites of the city. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was good enough. We definately recommend hotel Correra for every visitor of Naples.

This small town is wonderfully located over white steep cliffs and offers a fantastic view over the Bay of Naples. Typical products from Sorrento are produced with these Limoni: Limoncello, a very tasty lemon liqueur, lemon chocolate, colorful ceramic articles with lemon motives, or lemon soap. Or, try more than 70 different ice cream flavors at Gelateria Bougainvillea.

"Centrally located"
Excellent family-owned hotel. Rooms were large and location was great. Bathroom towels were old and breakfast was not very good but, overall, the hotel was lovely.
Excellent location in center of Sorrento. A lot of street noise, but the street activity is part of the appeal of Sorrento.
"Great for the Price"
Very close to all of the exciting stuff in Sorrento, and it's next to the best gelato place in all of Italy. The shower had an odd set-up, but the view out of the room was very nice and the front desk staff was very helpful (they even gave us a break on the internet pricing when we were having trouble planning the next leg of our trip).
"Perfect location and friendly hotel staff"
My sister and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. We were extremely satisfied with the friendliness of the owners. The location is perfect for window shopping and stolling the many sides streets. It was quiet,clean, and safe. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but enough to get going.

the location is great next to the main square and 5 min away from the train station, room is comfortable but the bath room is too small, the breakfast is average and staff are friendly

I stayed here in Jun/Jul 2010 with a number of friends, and would certainly recommend it to other travellers. A couple of caveats: the hotel is on floors 2+ of an apartment and while it has a lift, mobility-impaired travellers may not find it that convenient. Secondly, while a 3* hotel, it's probably closer to a 2* in US/Western Europe terms Overall […] the stay was excellent: check-in and front-desk service were both very good, and the staff were happy to help me practice my Italian skills by chatting with me. The rooms were clean, though perhaps slightly spartan (see above) - I had a wobbly shower door but nothing that caused a real problem. Breakfast was served on a pretty terrace just off the reception area, both of which were welcoming. The hotel and terrace overlook one of the main streets in town, but despite that there was no problem with traffic noise as I originally feared. The location is very good - 2m walk from the main square and a 7-8 walk to the Circumvesuviana/bus station. We didn't have a car so can't comment on ease of parking Διαβάστε περισσότερα
"Terrible experience"
Hotel Del Corso is located in a good area (center of the city), and the good things ended there. My wife and I staid only one night and really considered moving out. The room is small and very simple (1 star), there is no window in the room, bath is extremely small and dirty (not even the toilet flushes). Bath windows face the breakfast area (terrible).
