Porto Mykonos Hotel - Μύκονος

It's very nice hotel, good location, the staff is really good. They help us find all the information to our trip to meteora (the site were in greec).

Loved this hotel, there was nothing negative about this place. We were first greeted by Maria and it was as if we were the only guests arriving for the day. Her enthusiasm made us feel instantly welcomed. In fact all the staff were great. The location was perfect as it is only a short stroll to the town, but far enough not to feel like you are in the […] middle of everything. The best part was the outdoor areas. They have a large verandah that has lots of soft lounges and chairs all around the decking. If you don't want to explore the island, you can just sit and enjoy the views of the town and the sunset......Perfect! It has a very tranquil feel and is well maintained. The sea view rooms are large and worth paying that little bit extra. We travelled with our two adult children and we all felt at home. My only concern about Mykonos are the narrow roads. Don't even think about driving yourself anywhere and the tourists ride the motorbikes like they are on a racing track. Otherwise, we highly recommend a trip to Mykonos. Διαβάστε περισσότερα

This hotel in no way sub-standard, it's just "okay." Great views of the ocean and the town of Mykonos is just a short walk away is the positive. The toilet didn't flush for a day, and had a steady drip that the hotel didn't fix (although they did send their maintenance people, apparently it was above their pay grade). The location of the hotel is great...5 minute walk to Mikonos town...howevere to access the beaches you must rent either a scooter(15 euros)/4 wheeler(20 euros)/car(40 euros)...all the beaches are easy to get to...about 4-5km away with easy roadsigns to follow...as far as getting to the hotel from the port...taxis are 8 euros and the walk is long about […] 30 minutes...the hotel itself is nice...the rooms are just ok...bathrooms are very small and it doesnt feel like a 4 star resort inside except for the sea view on the balcony(which is quite nice)...i would recommend the hotel but may want to look at somewhere in the same location that is not quite as expensive Διαβάστε περισσότερα

we stayed 3 nights at Porto Mykonos at end of our journey in Greece. It was situated above the old port and at beginning of town, so it was fun to see the luxury yachts come and go from your balcony, if you manage to get a good room on the town side or above the reception area! Staff was friendly and helpful. They seem to make you feel comfortable […] as you check in by offering a glass of Champaign by their beautiful balcony and claim to offer the best service possible....anything you need anytime!!!! Their restaurant closes 4-7 pm, so no food is available but breakfast was adequate and good to see that they serve until 12 pm! Other menu items are expensive...so you are paying for convenience. Housekeeping service was poor!!! One evening we requested towels finally arrived after 45 min, which we were told it would take just 5 min. We were told they make early evening rounds, but never saw the difference when we returned to our room. We left in such a hurry to catch ferry and forgot to take some expensive Souvenirs left in in a bottom drawer of the cabinet. As soon as we realized we were missing them, we called the hotel. We were told to call back after 5 pm, but I was calling at 10 am!!!!! After talking further, I was able to convince them to double check quicker as we were leaving the country. I was told that management along with housekeeping check the room thoroughly after guest leaves and they did not find anything. They did not seem responsive over the phone to go and check within reasonable time. It took 4 additional phone calls within that day and a big headache and finally was told that they double checked the room and did not find anything. I realize I should have double checked the room before we left. I was expecting more responsiveness and demonstrating the great service they were claiming from such 4 star and not so cheap hotell!!!! This hotel was great. It's an easy 1 minute walk from the port if you arrive via ferry. The only downside of our stay was the walk up the stairs with the luggage to get to reception. I would recommend having someone stay at the bottom while some asks for the bellhop. Rooms were clean, reception was always extremely helpful and the manager was really […] nice, and the view from the balcony was amazing. They have an computer set up in the reception area for those who need to check email. Breakfast could use a little more variety but it did the job. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Fabuloso hotel. Muy bien ubicado. Vistas hermosas. La cama super cómoda, de hecho la única cama cómoda en todo Grecia. Las habitaciones son un poco pequeñas pero la verdad no representa mayor problema... La ducha no tiene puerta y hace que se moje todo el baño, pero en general me parecio un excelente hotel...
