I've stayed there for a week . the hotel is new and therefore it's also sophisticated . it has spacious rooms with a huge desk and every room has its own toilet sink and shower which all are clean and comfortable .the beds are wide and relaxing . also they have a safe where you can store a laptop and several European type of power sockets and a small […] refrigerator . the rooms are warm (WITH CENTRAL HEATING THAT YOU CAN ADJUST) I was surprised from the headed minor in the bathroom .OH I forgot to include the hair dryer . the rooms are nThe only problem about the room was the pressure of the water in the shower was a bit low but it was satisfying for me . 9.9/10 for the room. The staff was great ,THEY WERE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY WILLING TO HELP AND THEY WERE ALSO VERY COOPERATIVE BETWEEN THEM WITH MAKES THEM A GREAT TEAM. WELL DONE. Now about the location . quiet even thought there is a building construction next to the hotel . and it is located next to Master central station from where you can take the drum and you are at the center of Amsterdam in 19 minutes max. also from Master station there is a night busses (355) for those aftermidnight hours. by foot you need about 20minutes from the center if you can walk a bit fast. the hotel hires its own bicycles. This hotel is a good value for the money. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was exactly as I expected... clean and nicely appointed. I would recommend this hotel.

Everything about the hotel is great! The location is fantastic. Going to Amsterdam Central was so easy as this hotel is so close to the Amstel station. Close to Amstel Station to reach quickly the city centre, otherwise, the stroll along the Amstel is a beautiful one for those who have time. The TV did not work but we were not so interested in having it fixed either.

As I was travelling with euro lines and had a backpack, I wanted to stay close to Amstel station. This place was perfect, a 5 minute walk to the hotel, they let me check in early as there was a room available. 5 stops to central on the metro- easy as! €12 euro cab back to the hotel at the wee hours of the morning from town. This is a new hotel, so it is very clean and stylish. Poor location near Amstel station in an area without restaurants or tourist attractions. Area deserted at night. Would not recommend for a woman alone, although I did not see anyone menacing hanging around. No kleenex in room or hair dryer (although you could borrow a hair dryer at front desk). Beds […] very comfortable. People at front desk friendly and helpful. Very cheap shampoo and soap (all in one). Heat/AC did not work (front desk said they did and would take 2 hrs to respond, but it never did). Very well lit. Could read in room. Too far from museums, etc. Food is expensive. Breakfast does not open until 7:30 a,m. No alternate food service in the neighborhood. Very little air flow in rooms. No hair dryer in room. One night business trip. Arrived late. Reception service very good, quick check-in. Decent bar with sports TV. Room clean, well equipped for my needs and comfortable. Free Internet in room which is always a bonus. I had meetings 5 minutes away so ideal location for Amstel area and I would definitely use again.

Very pleased with this hotel. I stayed for two nights, on a business trip, September 2011. The rooms looked very new and clean. Walk in shower, good size bathroom. There was free wifi throughout the hotel and a lobby in the reception area, with tables, sofas etc. which would be suitable for working and informal meetings. The staff all spoke English […] and were very helpful. We only ate in the restaurant once, but the food was excellent! The location is not fantastic, but there was ample parking underneath the hotel (€17.50 per 24 hours) and the surrounding roads were quiet and clean. It was only about 15 minutes from the airport and very easy to find. To get into Amsterdam city, we took the train from the local station, 5-10 minutes walk, which was then only one stop and cost around €2 for a single journey. The hotel could also provide a taxi for around €15 into the city. I would certainly stay here again, as I felt the only downside, the location, was a minor point, considering the ease we found in getting into the city and the cost saving staying there. This hotel was booked for our company working at the EMO Exhibition in Hannover. Good Modern Clean Hotel! The drinks were a lot cheaper than other hotels and bars! Would certainly recommend to anyone visiting Hanover.

Great hotel located at the end of the 59 bus route from the train station. You get off the bus at the Amstell station stop. I would highly recommend the Dauphine restaurant across from the Amstell station. The 59 bus gets you downtown in 15 minutes

Nice hotel, clean room. the hotel is not located in the city centre but the area is well served by public transports.

This hotel was easily the best that we stayed in for the entire trip. A little bit outside of the main "Centrum" area of the city, it's still just around the corner from Amstel station, and only a short bus, tram, or train ride (whichever you prefer) from the city center. The hotel also has bikes available, but we didn't take advantage of that opportunity. […] The room was awesome, with free Internet, and really modern and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. We found the reception staff friendly and helpful, the room and facilities up to our expectations. Very clean and roomy. In particular we appreciated the in room safe and the free WiFi in room ( also the option of connection to the internet via connection to cable from the phone). We as a couple spent 3 nights at Hotel Casa 400. It was a smooth drive by Airport shuttle at E 25 , one way to the hotle. I found this a little costly as most visitors took the train which was way cheaper. Wish the hotel arranged some pick up service. The hotel was conveniently located near Amstel station that covered all our sightseeing & fun at Central […] area & Netherlands.Amstel station had reasonably priced good places to eat & a supermkt too to cover rest of our daily needs. Extremely helpful hotel staff. They guided us to travel various places, reconfirmed our return trip to airport thru shuttle service. They wud make any phone calls on our behalf such as pick up for Netherlands day tour. Clean facilities & new construction. The staff were very polite and extremely helpful. The rooms are very clean and the location is good (two minutes walk to Amstel station) If you want to be just out of the centre then this hotel is a good choice - overall very impressed with the hotel and the service we received.

Not a hotel for a romantic weekend away but if you want somewhere reasonably priced, clean and with good friendly staff, you can't go wrong with Casa 400.

Nice overall hotel, rooms are basic but clean and very spacious, helpful staff, and a great deal for the price. The only minus of this hotel is that its not centrally located but the metro is very close (3-5 min walk), and in about 5-10 min you are in the amsterdam central. Very good option to stay if you have a conference/work at AMC.

I stayed at the Casa 400 for three nights. After looking at the photos online, etc, I wasn't really excited about the hotel, however, upon my arrival, I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The hotel was vibrant. The room was very clean and modern, with plenty of space. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel was ideally located […] within a three minute walk to Amstelstation, connecting to the tram network, the metro, and intercity trains. As a tourist, it was nice to be close to all the sites without having to pay the prices of the hotels inside Amsterdam Centrum. I feel I got a better value for my money. While there were only a few traditional eating options nearby, the nearby train station had a variety of eating options for all meals. Great hotel; modern, clean, bright and very comfortable. Don't let the location put you off, it's only 1 stop from Central station on the train, 4 stops by metro and also on the tram route and 11 Euro by cab to/from central station. Amsterdam is a reasonably sized city so all very accessible by foot as well.

Stayed for 4 days. Great place, nice and modern and feels new. Love the rooms, has most of what i needed. Loved the long bench where i can work with laptop and lay out my stuff. The location […] is also very good, a short 6 minute walk from the train/metro station combo as well as #12 tram. It's easy access to the city or rest of country for a day trip. The station also have a couple stores and eateries that opens late. Amstel area is also great place to bike around with bike lanes leading along canals to outskirts or a short/medium ride towards the city. it's a pretty good deal compare to most of the older places closer to the center of the city. The hotel is a basic hotel with a few extras thrown in. The rooms are comfortable and the food in the restaurant is suprisingly really good. The service in the restaurant and breakfast room is also excellent however it took 15 minutes to check-in and the reception seems a little disorganised. There is absolutely nothing worth seeing around the hotel […] but the metro is a 5 minutes walk away. I stayed there on a business trip but most of the other guests were tourists. very convenient and very confortable

Everything was pretty nice and clean. The room was very spacious with a decent size bathroom. Their breakfast is pretty awesome, your typical scramble eggs, boiled eggs, sausage, fruit, yogurt, lots of cheese, and ham. Along with coffee, water, and juice. Some items vary by day but overall it was pretty good. The one thing that I didn't really like […] was the carpeting in the room. Not even sure if it is considered carpet, it was very very thin. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay in Amsterdam. The hotel is clean and spacious, with the rooms been clean and comfortable. The staff are nothing short of amazing and are very fluent in English. Upon arrival my travel partner and I had realised we had left our passports in the back of the taxi we had arrived in. While I was […] panicking like there was no tomorrow the staff were very reassuring in the fact that we would get them back. They checked us into our room and sat with us in the lobby talking us through where we would need to go and who we would have to contact to get replacment passports, all the while reminding us that would only be necessary should they not be able to contact the taxi driver. They made numerous calls on our account trying to contact the taxi. Suffice to say we eventually got our passports returned to us safely and I commend the staff on how they handled the situation. Especially becuase they had two 18 year old girls going through shock. This is a very nice, new hotel close to the Amstel station. It's not in the heart of Amsterdam, but it's easy to get around (on foot and by train) from the location. The hotel is great - really nice rooms, free Internet and nice breakfast (for a little extra each day).

Good hotel far from city centre but there are good connections by train and underground. Beautiful design and clean rooms. The staff was very friendly.

Clean and modern. Always suffer with airco - the rooms are too cold for me. The area is not great, but train and metro connections are very good. Take an opportunity to walk along the cannal - in 10 minutes walk you get to an area of nice restaurants.

It took us a while to get our bearings when arriving at Schipol, you need to get the train to Amsterdam, then it's one stop on another train to Amstel, or several stops on the underground/tram. It's very cheap to travel on the train, approx 6 euros each from the Airport. The hotel is signposted-ish from the train station and is about 3/4 mins walk […] away. You have to walk under a subway to get there. The hotel is brand new, busy, clean, very friendly staff. Rooms are spacious with king size beds and a plasma tv. My only negative with the room was the shower pressure being very low but this may have just been our room. We got a taxi back from Amsterdam central station friday night and it was 11 euros approx. it's 2.60 euros to travel in to amsterdam on the tram/train or tube. Overall I would rate the hotel and would return. it's very quiet at night so good for a good nights sleep unlike in the centre of amsterdam. Overall I was pleased. It was as advertised and as reviews stated. It was clean, reasonably priced, new, (at least the section I stayed in), and although minimalist in decor, still nice. It's quite convenient if you are a savvy metro/train/subway rider. Those wanting to walk to things should move to the heart of the city. Small item of complaint, I […] would have liked to have better access to an iron and board however. The shared concept would be much better if there were a couple more ironing "stations" per floor and the iron was a modern one with steam and the normal bells and whistles.
