Bristol hotel has been really hospitable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is the key of this hotel. The view of our room was in a big green garden, and the view of our friend' s room was the bridge of 'mont blanc' and the lake. You have the opportunity to go anywhere in town from this hotel, especially in night that you feel safe. I definetly recommend this hotel.

Geneva’s centre is full of cobblestoned streets, flower-decked fountains, and shuttered grey-stone houses. Museums, boutiques, bistros, and archaeological sights cluster around Place du Bourg-de-Four and the nearby Cathedral St Pierre. The neighbouring church is the Temple de l’Auditoire. The 14th-century Maison Tavel, Geneva’s oldest house, contains a local history museum.

Room was fine, good value and close to the station. Neighbourhood is dodgy especially at night.

This is a nice place, very close the station, convenience location. Room is rather small.
"Worst location in Geneva"
The "Residence" is located in the heart of Geneva's red light district. I was on the 1st floor facing Rue Monthoux, and prostitutes congregated right below my window, all day and night. There were also groups of young men hanging around for no particular good reason. They would drink and argue all night. So I found it hard to get a good night's sleep. […] After 4 am, when the bars closed police cars would cruise around the block, occasionally stopping young men, frisking them, and taking some away. Well I survived the ordeal, but I would not recommend it to any friend of mine, particularly if travelling with their family. If you like to experince the gritty side of a city, then go ahead, this is what you need. Otherwise, I would suggest that you think twice before booking this place... Διαβάστε περισσότερα
