A relaxing place with a character (as a former monastery), certainly far superior to the numerous other Sorrento hotels, apartment block like, of the same tourist category. Helpful personnel, ample common areas, fair breakfast, splendid surroundings, neat details, clean overall with modernized utilities. On the downside: bed-sheets have not been changed for five nights, rather poor room service (bed roughly laid), some problems with the common bathroom. Generally, I would not recommend rooms with a shared bathroom to future customers, especially during peak seasons.

Hotel Correra was a very pleasant surprise during our short stay in the chaotic, dirty but at the same time charming city of Naples! The location was perfect in order to see the main sites of the city. Our room was very clean and comfortable, the staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was good enough. We definately recommend hotel Correra for every visitor of Naples.

This small town is wonderfully located over white steep cliffs and offers a fantastic view over the Bay of Naples. Typical products from Sorrento are produced with these Limoni: Limoncello, a very tasty lemon liqueur, lemon chocolate, colorful ceramic articles with lemon motives, or lemon soap. Or, try more than 70 different ice cream flavors at Gelateria Bougainvillea.

This hotel has the best view. It was ALMOST worth the disguisting bathroom. If you didn't have to go in the bathroom it wasn't too bad. The room is only as big as the bed. The window was the only place we stood when we were there. The views were spectacular. I found out that the views were just as spectacular from the other hotels that overlooked the […] marina but they were not on the marina like this one. The others were on top of the mountain near the city and this one is at the water's level. Very beautiful area. The place we were directed to eat at was around the corner. The outdoor, covered spot was on the beach and it had amazing pasta dishes. We were treated like king and queen. That is what made the whole experience wonderful. I even had a picture taken with the chef that made my amazingly wonderful dish. But back to the bathroom issue. There was mold all over the room and the shower and the ceiling and urine was on the wall next to the toilet. Thank goodness we came in and just fell out from such exhaustion from the climbing of the stairs (178 one way) to the town. It was worth it so that we can forget about the bathroom. "Sorrento on a Budget - great owners, no frills"
This hotel is directly off the dock in sorrento and so is great if you are arriving in sorrento by boat from capri or naples. The dock area in sorrento is not huge and is somewhat removed from the rest of the city and the nightlife, however there is an internal bus that is cheap that can get you uo to the main town or train station, cheaply and frequently. The […] hotel itself is a little like a bad but clean days inn at home. No frills at all. However not dirty, and fine for the budget traveler. The staff is really nice and will let you use their computer and paying a nominal fee for inteernet. You get a discount if you eat at the adjoining restaurant, which has amazing food! if you come by boat this place is less than a block from the harbor. the boat is cheap and more fun than the circumvesta train, consider it. hotel location is fantastic, unless you cant do uphill walks. the whole town is above you. a one euro bus will take you up the hill, get it right out front.

Location is a bit off the center, but not too bad. You do have to walk ~200 steps up and down to get in and out of the city, unless you take the local bus. Very convenient to the pier for Capri trip. "Great place to stay!"
We chose this hotel due to its close location to the port. It is down the windy and steep hill from the main part of town, but there are still a couple of great restaurants and a few bars (cafe's) in this area. The hotel was great for us - nice view of the ocean and port, great service. Great value in the area. Bus ride to top of hill/station etc. is […] only a Euro or so. "Hotel Il Faro i Sorrento"
Väldigt bra läge nära Sorrentos hamn. Nära buss och båfförbindelser till andra orter och sevärdheter. 5-10 min gångavstånd till Sorrentos restaurangkvarter och gamla stan. Man måste gå uppför ca 100 trappsteg för att ta sig till centrum men det går även bussar regelbundet. Vi vär väldigt nöjda med servicen på hotellet. En av oss blev sjuk under vistelsen […] och var tvungen att uppsöka sjukhus. Personalen var väldigt hjälpsam och engagerad. De hjälpte oss med avbokningar och transport samt gav oss ett förmånligt pris på de ytterliggare dagar vi var tvungna att stanna på hotellet. "Hotel Il Faro - Not worth three stars..."
We did not have high expectations about this hotel, but were surprised that the rooms and the hotel had this poor quality. It looks good on the outside, but the inside is a different story. It should definitely not have more than two stars..,.

""Bra läge vid hamnen""
Hotell som har bra läge vid hamnen där alla båtar till Capri, Positano m m avgår från. Trevlig personal och härlig vy från rummen på de övre våningarna. Betyget dras ned något av dålig städning.
