Homewood Suites by Hilton Fairfield-Napa Valley Area - Fairfield

My daughter was injured because the front panel of a cabinet fell off and broke her toe. The General Manager emailed and told us that they would not be responsible for any medical bills, but in good faith, would not charge us for damage to the room! We'll see what happens when my attorney gets involved!

Great room - master suite, 2nd bedroom with 2 queen beds, fold out in separate living room - very clean, and quiet. Breakfast included. 12 miles from central Napa without the Napa price.

My wife and I loved the room. We wanted a place close to our kids, but not a cheap run down one either. The hotel was very clean with friendly service. The only complaint we had was that both TV's were very fuzzy though it was supposed to be satellite.

This hotel is only 15-20 minutes from Sonoma and 25 mins from Napa downtown. This place is a lot cheaper and such a great location if you are spending a weekend in the wine country. Not only was service great, but everyone was really friendly and didn't seem to ask a lot of questions. The only drawback, they seem a little unstaffed (there were moments […] when I had to wait at the counter for a few minutes before anyone showed up). Free breakfast in the morning: Always a plus! The receptionist was very pleasant. We had thought we were getting a suite, ( two rooms) but it was one bed with a sofa, etc. we purchased another room as we were traveling with our grandchildren, etc. The spa was fairly cool when I used it, until we asked for the temperature to be changed, ( it took about 30-40 minutes to heat). The breakfast area […] was ok. Self serve was fine but the choices were Not the best. In particular the turkey sausage and the has brown potatoes were extremely undercooked so I ended up having a waffle. I would definitely work on the food preparation. As always everything was great, specialy the bed. The only negative thing was the ice, they only had ice on the 3rd floor.

Everything was nice! Management was excellent! Our group (30+) had a retreat at the hotel 2 nights 3 days and management was flexible for our arrangement. Facility was well maintained. Good rate. Everyone enjoyed the retreat at this hotel.

Temisha was about the best part of staying at the hotel she seems to know how to handle customers. I was happy with the room until I found blonde hair on my pillow - I have real short red hair! I switched pillows with another one on the bed... I placed a wake up call for 7:00 a.m. using the phone but it did not come thru - luckily I woke up at 8:30 […] on my own and rushed to get ready for the seminar. Our lunch the first day was a big let down mostly lettuce and a spoonful of dressing if that for each of the girls... My husband and I went for the weekend just to veg out and relax. The entire staff was great from check- in to check-out. They tended our every need without hesitation. The room was great. Clean and very comfortable, witha full kitchen! We even had popcorn in our room along with the coffee and tea. The breakfast was so-so. Sausage , waffles, hash browns […] and something that looked like fried eggs. We didn't eat them, they looked too strange. Also a couple of cereals, oatmeal?, and some assorted breads. Overall it was a great stay. Have a car because the location is a little remote. The internetlisted an onsite resturant but there was not one. We will stay here again.....great place! The hotel was quite nice, the receptionist was very prompt, friendly and courteous. Very nice suite, well appointed and comfortable. The only thing that was a problem was when about seven people started playing basketball at 2:00 AM. This woke me, my wife, and I am sure many other guests. After about 15 minutes it was apparent that they were not […] going to stop, so I had to call the desk and complain. I should not have had to make this call, the "players" should not have been given athletic equipment after 10:00 PM; as posted in the lobby. This pretty much ruined my rest for the night. About 30 minutes from the town of Napa, this hotel was clean, comfortable, reasonably priced (Napa Valley hotels are very expensive), and the food was fine. The area is a business district, but we did not come to see the Fairfield sights.

Very nice and economical alternative to other hotels in nearby Napa. Great place to use as a base for a weekend. Good breakfast and very comfortable and modern room furnishings.

This is a great bargain if you need a place to stay near Napa. Our room was very clean. No smells, clean sheets, comfortable bed, fresh towels, clean kitchen--really, no complaints! Good location, I would stay again if in that area. Everything about the stay was nice with the exception of the Buffet Breakfast on the 1st day was very poor, Breakfast from 7 to 10 am and they were out of food by 9am and there was no other place to eat within a few miles. The second day was great good hot meal

This hotel is spectacular! Very comfortable and spacious and extremely clean! Only 20 minutes from Napa and easily accessible. Very nice staff too!

Spacious suite. Good to be able to make a simple meal when travelling for a longer time. Supermarket and other shops less than 5 minutes drive. Excellent location for exploring the wine regions

While it was some of a distance from Napa, our party of 5 was comfortable in 2 rooms. Breakfast was fair and the jacuzzi was great. Compared to anything else in the area, we got a great stay for out money.

The hotel is fairly new and in very good condition; location is in an office park and there is only one restaurant within walking distance (it is Chinese and very good). To designate the hotel as "Fairfield-Napa Valley" is definitely a stretch since Fairfield is a longish drive from Napa. Great place for having kids in room. Spacious & kitchenettes to store you wine!

Very convenient to Napa and Yountville - maybe took me 20 minutes max to get there - good choice if on a budget!!

We always stay at this hotel, and are always overly satisfied. From the great hotel staff to all of the amenities like the breakfast, pool, and dinners mon-thurs this is an all around great hotel.

I highly recommend this as a hotel if you are in the Fairfield/Napa area. The breakfasts and Manager's Evenings are excellent. Nice pool and spa. Location is close to several attractions. Staff is very helpful when asked. We will definitely be staying there when we return to the area.

Hotel was nice and comfortable but a bit over-priced. We were there for a wedding and were on a tight time schedule. We needed to be showered, changed and out the door by 4:00 PM. We would have made it if there had been hot water and dry towels. Cold showers are very unpleasant but what made it worse is the towels were all wet! They were all nicely […] folded and put away as if freshly washed and dried but in fact they were soaking wet. It took housekeeping 30 minutes to get us fresh DRY towels. The beds were wonderful. Very comfy and cozy. The next morning, we enjoyed a nice free breakfast, or what was left of one at 9:00 AM. They were out of several items, including batter for the waffle maker. A huge disappointment. By 9:50 AM everything was picked up and put away, even though closing time for breakfast wasn't until 10:00 AM. I booked this hotel quite last minute, for a weekend in Napa. It is located about 30-40 minutes from downtown Napa, which is not ideal if that is your main destination, but is good value for money, as the rooms are quite nice and are priced as significantly lower rates than at many nearby hotels. We stayed in a junior suite - there were 3 of us and […] so one had to use the pull out couch bed (which was apparently quite comfortable). The location is unremarkable - not close to any sights, but quiet if you want a peaceful place to stay. We spent very little time at the hotel, and did not get to use any of the amenities so I cannot comment on how those are. Stayed here on a weekend spending the day at Napa - only 25 minutes away, which was nice. Hotel is in the middle of a business park, so you're not going to find anything interesting without a drive. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Room was very big, had everything we needed and then some. Didn't expect a full suite with kitchenette, […] but it's a nice touch. Had breakfast in the lobby the next morning. Arrived with 45 minutes until close, and there was no orange juice, milk, spoons, or plates available for 15 minutes. I ate my raisin bran with a fork. Staff maintaining the breakfast area were unfriendly, and were obviously counting the minutes until their shift was over. We went there because was my daughter birthday and she loves swim, but the swimming pol was out of service the next day and nobody fix so my daughter was sad and when I told at the front desk they only say sorry. The morning breakfast was so bad, no forks no napkins no glass well you must see. In the room the person who clean didn't left soap, shampoo, […] conditioner and didn't do the beds good only so so and neither the dishes. Some reviewers have complained that this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, but it's close enough. although it is on the edge of town, and on the edge of a business park, there is a complete shopping mall, including places to eat, a grocery store, etc... a few blocks away. Everything else is no more than an exit or two away on the freeway. The hot […] breakfast and evening reception, which includes a light dinner most nights, and are an added bonus considering the price. My only real negative, other than the lack of view from my room, is the fact that the spa and pool were out of order, and nothing was said about it until I asked the desk. No signs, notes, etc.... This hotel is amazing. I stayed in the studio suite for my 5th wedding anniversary. There was a kitchen, a living room with a big ottoman as the coffee table with a tray on it for the remotes or other stuff. In the studio, the bedroom and living room are the same room but it is very long and quite comfortable. There is a desk that divides the room. […] And the TV can be turned to either side. The bathroom was very lovely. I am a neat freak. I go into hotel rooms just looking for something to be wrong. I found a few hairs but that was it. This room was very clean. No bugs! Thats what I always want to know. Plus you get free breakfast, and Monday through Thursday, you get free dinner and that comes with wine and/or beer. You can even get your food to go if you like. After this experience, I will never stay at any other hotel. Homewood suites by Hilton is my favorite!!! And I've been to a lot of hotels. So book it and don't worry, your going to love it! Oh and they have an indoor pool with jacuzzi and tennis courts but I didn't use them so I couldn't tell you. And if your in the area, take the Brew Master tour at the Budweiser factory. Its like 5 miles away. They have a free tour but we did the Brew Master which is $25 per person. It lasted for 2 to 3 hours and you get to drink beer that is born on that date from the actual tank. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The price was reasonable. But the location was poor. Nothing within walking distance and no sidewalks. Perhaps not a problem for most people. The breakfast buffet was excellent. There's a small kitchen in some of the rooms with a stove, microwave, and fridge but no oven.
