αρκετα καλη ,τα δωματια ήταν ανετα για μια τετραμελή οικογενεια,το πρωινο τυπικο μπουφε.Το σημαντικότερο κοντά στο αεροδρομίο και πολυ κοντα απο τη σταση λεωφορειου που οδηγει στη βενετια

Bordering San Marco and the Rialto and stretching east to some of Venice’s quietest greenest parts, Castello is the city’s most varied ‘sestiere’. Its most famous aspect is the Riva degli Schiavoni waterfront next to the Bridge of Sighs, with picture-postcard views onto the lagoon. Yet a few yards from the tourist hoards, the backstreets are quiet and typically Venetian. There are many outstanding churches and art collections in this area.

"Dirty, little, hot room!"
We couldn't run away fast enough. couldnt sleep due to mosquitoes in the room, no air conditioning, awful dirty, fabric lined walls, falling apart ceiling. Do I need to continue? Never again.

I would like to disclose an American is writing this review. I state this because our standards are comfort are different from those of our European cousins. Pros: - Great location, 10 minute walk or less to St. Mark's and Rialto. - Great continental breakfast with rolls, cheeses and meats, cereal options, the coffee was delicious - Staff member mans […] the desk 24/7 Cons: - Hard, hard bed. We could not sleep well on the rock slab of a bed in our room (queen sized bed) - WIFI, we paid 5Euros to use the Wifi for 24 hours (not consecutive hours but cumulative time). However, often I only had one bar of wifi in the bedroom. I saw other guests had to use their laptop next to the check in counter to receive adequate wifi coverage. - no A/C, it said the rooms were air-conditioned but we found a fan ventilation type system which did not adequately cool the room. In honesty, we did not need A/C in April, it was cool outside. Unfortunately, when we opened the windows, mosquitos came in during the night and feasted on our flesh. If we closed the windows, the room became oppressively stuffy. The first night we ran the A/C unit all night to recirculate the air but were awakened by a weezing sound from the machine. Thereafter we did not run it during the night. So, again to review. Great location, good breakfast, helpful staff but very uncomfortable beds which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. "Great hotel for a great price!"
We were staying at a hostel in venice and were so upset with our experience we canceled our second night and booked this hotel. We were so happy when we arrived at the hotel. The receptionist was very helpful, gave us a place to store our luggage until our room was ready and gave us multiple maps of the city. The hotel room was very nice, especially […] for the cost. "Hotel Canaletto Venice - Great hotel"
The Caneletto is in a great location close to all major sights. The hotel is very clean and comfortable and is in a quiet location. Only a short walk to the Rialto Bridge and San Marco square. I would not hestitate to stay there again.
"Think twice!!"
The staff wasn't very helpful. They acted putout when we asked questions. The location is difficult to find. (Do your homework.) The rooms are uncomfortable and really old. The bed was the worst of all the hotels we stayed in. Be prepared for less than an American 3 star hotel.

First of all, traveling with luggage in Venice is quite the experience, especially at peak season. You def need a map & good directions to find the hotel at first (directions are crucial and very precise so do read first). For the price we paid I do think it was fine. Breakfast was just ok (coffee seemed to be more american style than italian and i did get coffee across road at bakery shop more often). Location was good as we did eat more in San Polo (which were FANTASTIC at great prices). Getting to/from St Marks Square at night was spooky and fun walking through the narrow passageways and over little bridge (it seemed like an adventure). Clean hotel. Was noisy but what would you expect right in the action of Venice. The staff at reception and serving breakfast were really nice and helpful. It was not a really flash place but it was nice that you felt like you are in a Venice type dwelling. I would stay there again but if your after sleep dont stay there. The outside noises come in. "An absolute gem"
Stayed for 4 nights in May 2011. Couldn't fault this hotel : Ideal location in a quiet street but just a few minutes walk from the key tourist areas. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms weren't large but were clean comfortable and full of character. Useful features inluded efficient & fairly quiet AC, fridge/minibar in room, PC with broadband […] in the lobby (1 euro for 10 mins) Great value for the money compared with some of the nearby hotels, which seemed to be alot more expensive. IT IS VERY CLOSE TO ALL AMENITIES AND ALTHOUGH THE ROOMS WERE NOT HUGE, THEY WERE COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN. THE BREAKFAST BUFFET WAS GOOD AS VENICE IS SO EXPENSIVE NOT HAVING TO PAY OUT AGAIN FOR FOOD WAS GOOD. WILL GO HERE AGAIN

"GOOD LOCATION - NOT TOO APPEALING SPACE"
The location was perfect it was between the Marco Polo Church and Rialto bridge. There is a good restaurant right next to door. However, the room itself is too small and mugy.. we did not feel comfortable at all. Maybe because the receptionist at night time was very rude.

The room was well decorated but small. However worst of all it was on the first floor at the back of the hotel. This meant that it was not worth opening the curtains - so little natural light got into the room, and you could reach out and almost touch the blank brick wall of the next building. "Good location"
Overall nice hotel. Location was convenient to Ponte Rialto and San Marco. A little hard to find, but nice that a sign is on street to point the way. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They even provided a "bagged" breakfast at 6:30 AM as we left to catch the shuttle to the airport.
Très bon hôtel pour être prêts des centres d'intérêts de Venise (Rialto et place St-Marc)! Personnel très sympathique, parlant aussi bien anglais que français. Oui, la chambdre est sombre (celle que nous avions), mais nous y passons que peu de temps et c'est pour dormir! Hôtel très propre et idéalement situé. Pour notre part, nous avons marché de la gare jusqu'à l'hôtel : 25 minutes et vous n'avez qu'à suivre l'indication "Pont Rialto" et vous serez à 2 minutes de l'hôtel. "Bare 5 min gangavstand fra Venezias hjerte"
Bra 3-stjerners hotell. Veldig bra beliggenhet. Rent, rolig og hyggelig. Enkle og små rom med bra seng. Men vi ønsket oss ekstra puter. På en regntung dag hadde muligheten for å kjøpe en kaffe eller drink i "frokostsalen" vært fint. Allikevel nøler vi ikke med å anbefale hotellet til venner og kjente. Hotellet lever opp til begrepet Value for Money

"perfetto!"
Ottima podizione a metà strada tra Rialto e San Marco. La camera superior in cui abbiamo soggiornato era ampia, pulita e ottimamente insonorizzata. Personale cordiale e simpatico. Elevato rapporto qualità prezzo per Venezia, città bellissima ma tutt'altro che economica. Assolutamente consigliato.

Excellent accueil du personnel tout à notre écoute. Séjour réussi grace à la situation géographique.Il est vrai que retrouver l'hotel n'était pas très facile un vrai labyrinthe mais.... avec tout son charme!! Nous y retournerons quand notre cagnotte sera reconstituée!

Très bon hôtel, personnel adorable et parlant français. A 5 minutes à pied de la place St Marc et du Rialto. Bonne isolation (chose rare en Italie), chambre propre. Évidemment la déco est un peu rococo et la chambre un peu petite mais ça ne gâche rien au plaisir du séjour.

Hotellet va svår att hitta en tips är att fråga receptionen i andra hotel dem verkar ha koll på varandra. läget är jättbra 2min promenad avstånd till san marco. Personalen va trevliga och rummet mysig. Vårt rum hade inte rumutsikt utan fönstret vette mot en hus mur. Rummet va ren fast mörk eftersom den inte fick nån dagsljus från fönstret. Luftkonditioneringen […] va lite högljudig. VArm vatten fanns det och rummet samt toaletten va av lagom storlek. Vi spenderade bara en natt där och det funkade fint. La ubicacion, verdaderamente dificil encontrarlo, luego de 3 dias, de ir y volver al menos 2 veces al dia, costaba encontrarlo, esta muy escondido. Lo unico malo es el tamanio de la habitacion, realmente DEMASIADO PEQUENIA para un hotel de esa categoria. De todos modos, fuimos […] a otro hotel en VEnecia, y la situacion fue similar. "Hotel Canaletto-Castello 5487 nos ha encantado"
En general todo el hotel esta muy bien, tanto la situación como sus instalaciones, pues sus habitaciones son muy grandes. La única critica es el buffet libre para desayunar que deja que desear tanto en variedad como en cantidad. Por lo demás todo muy bien, todos los que componían el servicio fueron muy atentos en todo momento.

Somos una pareja joven y estuvimos en el hotel una noche. Se encuentra entre el puente de Rialto y la plaza de San Marco, así que su ubicación es perfecta. Parfait petit hôtel en plein cœur du quartier du castello... Proche de tout pour un prix très raisonnable. Traditionnel au niveau de la décoration mais c'est ce que nous cherchions. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et l'arrivée jusqu'à l'hôtel en taxi c'était vraiment un must...

In wenigen Minuten erreicht man den Markusplatz und die Einkaufsstraßen. Besonders toll war die Möglichkeit des Late Check out um 19 Uhr der gegen einen geringen Aufpreis […] auf unser 3 Bett Zimmer möglich war.
