the only thing that can be faulted in this hotel is the lack of service. When we checked in we asked what time they were serving food till we were kindly... told by a girl, to which we later found out that she was a waitress in the restaurant, we asked should we book and we were told no it would be ok. Arriving at the room we could not open the bathroom door! We were moved to another room with no hassle. Went down for dinner, the girl who had previously told us that there was no need to book told us that we should have booked! We were seated and handed a menu, with nothing explained to us, no offering of a drink, nothing just left us to it. After approx 15mins a man finally came to us to take our order. As I work in a 4* hotel myself I know how important it is to have good customer service skills and I did not see this with any of the staff in the hotel. When we went down for breakfast, not a staff member in sight. After 10mins a man and woman came out from a back room, we asked for two full Irish breakfasts. What we got was certainly not two full Irish breakfasts! This mini brakfast cost us €20 excluding cereal tea or coffee! If your not fussy about service then this hotel is the place for you, but when you work in a 4* hotel yourself service is the key to a successful business. Πελάτης της Hotels.com στις 05/01/2011
