The hotel is found just outside the city walls. it offers bicycles and the route is just 2 klm long. We cincerely want to thankthe family for all the great hospitality and the help offerred to us.They really made our holidays a very pleasant experience. Definetely a recommend !

The hotel is located next to the Leaning Tower and about 500m from the city center. The rooms are rather small, but clean. The staff is very friendly.

"A Grand Hotel By Any Definition"
Staying in this updated classic grand hotel was a treat. It was a delightful surprise for the price. Beautiful large and quiet rooms with all the amenities. Terrific service that made us feel most welcome. The finest hotel in the region. I'm getting to really like the NH hotel chain.
"Wonderful Hotel"
This hotel exceeded my expectations. Was rated a 4 star hotel, but should be a 5 star hotel. The room was a nice size, and very clean. The pool on the 5 floor was gorgeour and overlooked the Mediterranean. The hotel staff was great. I would stay there again if I ever go back to Italy!

We stayed here toward the end our trip in Italy as a splurge. The hotel was GREAT. The room extravagant, the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool on the rooftop (5th floor) with a gorgeous view of the ocean. We watched the sun dip as ships came in and out of the harbor. There is ample parking on the hotel grounds as well. […] The room came with a great breakfast buffet in the morning as well. Our only complaint was the location. The surrounding neighborhood felt like an area in decline and there weren't any really good restaurants within walking distance. We ended up getting pizza at a teenage hangout for dinner. "Beautiful hotel in a boring location"
We stayed in Livorno specifically to see the Mediterranean, the Mar Ligure technically I guess, and to go to Pisa and see the tower. it's great for that, but not much else. The hotel is big and beautiful. Parking was right out front and easy. The rooms were nice and clean. I thought the bed was very comfortable and with little to do around town, the […] plethora of channels on the TV was appreciated. The staff was nice and friendly. At this point in our vacation we had given up asking for an iron as you apparently cannot iron in a hotel room in Italy. There's a really nice restaurant on the 5th floor that is nothing but windows and a great view of the sunset so that made dinner enjoyable. A very impressive hotel close to the port. The staff were friendly and the room well equipped and clean. Overall a very pleasant experience.

The service at the hotel did not live up to our expactations. No service at all in the breakfast room and when we arraived late one night the gates where closed. No one was there to hear the bell ringin so my friend had to cliemb over the fence to make it possible to get in to the hotel. I would´nt expect that kind of entrance at a 5 star hotel. "Grand Palazzo Livorno"
Har været i Livorno mange gange i mit liv, men denne gang skulle det være ekstra godt og vi valgte derfor byens bedste hotel. Boede der i 1 uge i august og nød udsigten fra pool teressen hver dag. Kan anbefale at tage ned på badeanstalten lige foran hotellet. Det koster 5 € at komme ind og dertil 8 € for liggestole - men det er det hele værd. Vandet […] er skønt og klart. Morgenmaden er super og altid frisk juice eller vand. Hotellet ligger godt, ca 30 min gåtur indtil Hovedgaden med alle butikkerne. Udemærket handelsby. Bemærk hotelpriser på diverse drikkevarer og madvarer er meget høje. Anbefaler at spise på de lokale restauranter som ligger tæt på eller blot tage en sandwich til frokost nede på gaden. "Palace direkt am Meer"
Neurenoviertes *****-Hotel mit wunderschöner Aussicht aufs Meer. Die Zimmer sind überwiegend echt gross und es fehlt an nichts! Livorno ist an sich nicht interessant aber mit einem Besuch im Restaurant Sottomartino mit der Super-Fischsuppe lohnt sich der Aufenthalt. Vorausgesetzt man/frau isst gerne Fisch!
"Tolle Lage direkt am Wasser"
Wunderschönes Hotel mit tollem Ausblick auf das Meer und schöne saubere Zimmer mit Parkmöglichkeit für das Auto. Und das Restaurant im obersten Stock mit Blick aufs Meer und Sonnenuntergang, wunderschön!!! Sehr empfehlenswert, Preis Leistung ok!

"Superbra hotell men dåligt läge"
Hotellet var super, men Livorno i sig är inte speciellt roligt. Ligger dock bra till för utflykter till Pisa och Florens. Restaurangen uppe på taket var jättebra.

It was nice, but not a 5 star hotel, more 4 stars if you look at the price and the total impression. Some days brekfast was total chaos!
