Near all kinds of transport services and near all basically shopping malls and shops and streets. Restaurants and breakfast places are all over around the place. We did not try the breakfast because for some reason german hotels overcharge. We thought that internet access should be free but it was not. If one needs to sat and live a good part of one's day in the hotel, then demands can be higher etc. But I would go there again, without feeling restricted or else. Nice and easy.

Αρνητικά: wifi αργοοοοοοοό, κρεββάτια που είχαν ζήσει την ζωούλα τους, χωρίς Η/Υ στο δωμάτιο, πρωινό έξτρα (αλλά καλύτερα, στη γύρω περιοχή βρίσκεις τέλεια μέρη για πρωινό).

"Lovely hotel, not so brilliant neighbourhood."
The hotel itself is lovely. The foyer is open and light, there is a computer station with at least 4 iMacs and a printer for use by all guests. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfy. I booked a standard room with breakfast and what a breakfast it was. Basically, don't plan on having lunch because if you take advantage […] of breakfast you won't need it! Antipasti that included cheese stuffed mushrooms and tomatoes. A large selection of cured meats and smoked salmon, and just as many cheeses. The cooked food included scrambled eggs, bacon sausages (of course) and then there were the waffles, berliners and danishes galore. There's also bircher muesli, fruits and an abundance of yoghurts for the health conscious/B far the highlight of my stay. The bar on the top floor also has a spectacular view of Berlin but after going out to other bars and restaurants in the city you'll notice that the prices are very expensive by comparison. Typical hotel prices. If you don't want to take a taxi from the airport or the main station which can cost up to 30euro the hotel is very easily accessed by Berlin's brilliant and user friendly public transport system. There is the Landsberger Allee tram stop directly outside and the train station of the same name is a 5 minute walk. The tram will also take you to Alexander Platz within 12 minutes and Mitte in 15, which is good as there really isn't anything within walking distance of the hotel. "Next to swimming arena, trains and tram"
We chose this hotel to get our daily swimming exercise in the huge swimming arena next door and still have easy access to the city centre by train and tram. That worked beautifully and we loved the huge suite rooms that only cost a little extra. Breakfast buffet was busy but very well stocked and the hotel desk was very helpful. Not much to see in the […] close surrounding, but in Berlin everything is easy to get to by train, tram, subway and bus so that is really not a problem. Had wonderful time in this hotel, enjoyed every minute. Excellent rooms, neat, fresh and comfortable. It was freezing cold outside and room felt a bit cool at times, but that was minor issue. Andel's exceed my expectations and was great value for money. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only annoyance was a snapping sound from the walls at night. The reception also charged me for a mineral water I did not consume but agreed to refund the amount when I pointed out the error. Generally an excellent Hotel; but we knew it would be as we have used another Andel's hotel in the past, in fact it was purely this that made us choose Andel's again. Friendly staff, great boutique style decor and great facilities. We particularly liked the 'Sky Bar' on the top (14th) floor, which provided stunning views across Berlin. This hotel was perfect! The rooms are well designed so make great use of space and everything was in working order (climate control/tv/speakers in bathroom). The staff are helpful and polite. Computers were free to use, great for quickly looking up an attraction/restaurant. Housekeeping staff were amazing, they even folded my pyjamas and put them on […] my side of the bed. Amazing view from the top floor bar.The restaurants were good but not great, you can get better value for money in town. It's right next to the train station, we were able to get all around Berlin easily. I also like having tea and coffee available in the room so that was a bonus. "Brilliant stay and value for money"
Hotel Andels was excellent and had a very comfortable stay. They were efficient and when we had to check out super early at 4am and couldn't make it for the 6.30am breakfast, they even made us a little lunchbox to take away to the airport. The breakfast was included and that definitely added to the value. The spread on offer was very good and fresh. […] I'm normally very fussy with things and can highly recommend this hotel. The surrounding area isn't amazing but this hotel is good for the value as it includes breakfast and wifi in rooms for free. We were very impressed by this hotel. Though it's about 10 minutes tram ride from the centre, the trams are very frequent (every 3-4 minutes) and we preferred the slightly less frenetic atmosphere. The S bahn station over the road made our transfer from Tegel airport easy - about 25 minutes. Our room was not massive but perfectly good for 3 nights and […] very clean and well designed. We've just left The hotel & would like to highly recommend it. Finding the hotel was easy enough and can be seen from the station, so no hassle there. We arrived from Tegal airport and were at the hotel within 30 minutes. The hotel is very modern looking and looks very funky inside and out. The room was nice and spacious, with really comfy beds, a large […] shower enclosure and LCD tv and tea/ coffee facilities. I'd highly recommend booking the breakfast too which was varied and really fresh every day. Like I mentioned previously, the hotel is right next to the station and tram stop which makes getting into central Berlin a breeze (not to mention any other tourist site). One final tip is to download the Tripadvisor app before you travel. It works totally offline and will literally take you within feet of any destination using your gps! Second stay at Andels. Love the hotel, its location , food staff, ambience,suits us down to the ground. Unexpected bonus this year were the 2 Berlin Welcome cards for the 4 days we were staying. When given them I informed the receptionist that I had already purchased Welcome Cards at the Airport, she replied " no problem sir take them to the concierge […] and he will refund you the money". The only complaint was the buffet breakfast, although fantastic, they kept running out of waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon. My boyfriend and I visited Andels for three nights and were both incredibly impressed with everything the hotel had to offer. Unusually for Berlin, breakfast was included in the price of the room, and it was of the most fantastic quality - there was everything you could possibly want and more (but get there before 9.30 to avoid things running out). The […] room was the most clean and comfortable hotel room I can remember staying in, and for the first time ever our double bed was actually a double bed, and double mattress rather than the annoying (and all too common) two single mattresses pushed together. It's positioning right on an S-bahn station and the tram stop just outside was perfect and so convenient. This was my fourth time in Berlin and definitely the best. "Great for couples wanting something a bit special!"
I am going to start with my one and only negative regarding the hotel which is regarding the food and drink options which were limited and with the drinks expensive.Now onto the positives.Once you know the location of the hotel it is extremely easy to get to with a tram stop right outside the door, a train station around the corner and various bus routes. […] The trams run very regularly and take you right into the centre of Alexanderplatz and from their you can catch the underground. The hotel staff were both polite and helpful and spoke excellent english. We were taken to our room and given a map along with an explanation of the transport system. Make sure that you sign up for the breakfast buffet as there was so much choice on offer we found it unnecessary to eat again until the evening but make sure you get there before 10.00am as it gets busy.
